Here is my card with three metallic details: stars, a tocken and metallic paint.
I was so lost in working on the project that I completely forgot to make pics
of the process! Below you can read some points of how I made the card.
BACKGROUND
1. Emboss the background with Tim Holtz STAMPtember tree rings.
2. Give some color using Distres Oxide Inks (antique linen, walnut stain).
3. Mark the edges with Distress Ink (groung espresso).
4. Mix Metallique Blackberry Prima paint with water and spritz the card.
FRAME
1. Color the Sizzix Frame Ornate #2 with Distress Inks (peeled paint,
ground espresso) and spray with water leaving lighter drops randomly.
2. Touch the frame with Tsukineko Embossing Ink and apply
Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder, heat the frame.
(observe below how the waterdrops aren't covered with powder! Amazing!)
SCENE
1. Stamp the trees with embossing ink.
2. Apply WOW Embossing Glitter Cloud9 powder, heat the trees.
3. Color the background with Distress Oxide inks (salty ocean, peeled paint)
4. Spray with water leaving waterdrops looking like snow.
DEERS
1. Stamp the deers with embossing ink.
2. Apply Simon Says Stamp Black Embossing Powder, heat and let cool off.
3. Fussy-cut the deers (which is not easy but absolutely worth it).
4. Adhere the deers with 3D dots.
