4th Reveal SOD Transitions and Prima October BAP

I LOVE this layout! If I'm being honest I don't love everything I do. Like yes...love no. Most I often I am satisfied with my projects maybe even border on love and then see them on line and think "Oh I should have torn that piece the edge is too straight. I should have turned that, needs more flowers, not enough color, the edges are boring..."
Come on you must do it too. Yes? We are are our own biggest critics.

However I feel with this layout I have achieved artistic happiness within myself. When you are inspired to finish a project because the flow is there at midnight  and no one can stop you with "You'll be sorry in the morning when you have to get up early..." You know it is going to be good.

I hope that doesn't sound full of myself because if it does check out my "Voices In My Head" project here!

We are using the gorgeous Prima "Forever Green" papers in our September SOD Kit titled "TRANSITIONS"
YOU CAN FIND THAT HERE
in case you missed my last 3 posts about it **wink**

SOoooo I thought why not do a project for the October BAP!
Here we go!

Thanks for the inspiration Jen!

I was on a misting / splattering spree for sure this month and I have loved my Lumiere and Silks to death with this project.

Most of the florals are from the kit but I did add a few blue ones and that vine is one I had in my stash. I might have had it on another layout at one time and then ripped it off when I did my once a year review of old projects and ditch the ones that no longer meet my standard. (I know - shameful)

Little wooden words "Truly, Madly, Deeply" also in the kit!

 More close ups:

Thanks a bunch for stopping in today. I've got to run! xoxo

Prima- September- BAP

Hi Guys!
Trying to back into the groove of participating in the Prima BAP. I have great intentions of playing along each month but extra time to create is limited so I always miss the opportunity.

This month I pushed myself and squeezed a layout in based on the sketch. Have you seen it and are you playing along?

I used a past Scraps of Darkness for this page. This was from the April kit "His and Hers". As I have probably mentioned before red is my favorite color so this was a joy to create!

I suppose you can tell I am now into this messy grungy look. Sometimes I am not sure if it looks great or is just a hot mess. :)

I've used a variety of mediums, mists, modeling paste, alcohol inks and ink for stamping.

A little washi tape to pick up the blue. I pretty much left it "clean" because my page is so busy and grungy I wanted a little freshness to rest my eye on.

Lot's of random stamping and fibers thrown in for good measure.

Just one more close up.

The photo is a copyright free one. I believe it's from Magical Moonlight.

Thanks for stopping by!
