This months kit from Scraps of Darkness is filled with some fun, dark, deliriously awesome Pink Paislee,
Moxie, Fancy Pants and Authentique papers! There were so many ways I could have gone with this kit but I thought this month I would just have fun and scrap the dark side of life!

My first layout this month is my take on Charlottes sketch for us.
Thirst
This month I thought I would have some fun with photo editing and transform the ladies in my family to vampires of sorts!
I edited myself with a red eye cuz I get a little crazy without my morning coffee. ;)
I did a lot of layering on my layout and edge distressing. I also masked the background with one of my favorite masks. I stamped the bottles and key hole with a crackle stamp and then embossed it with the Molten Metal we received in our color add on kit.

Just Bitten
Oh dear. What happened to my little girl?
My baby has that baby vampire just bitten look! I masked the background using one of K & Co Silhouettes as a mask with purple ink. I also did some embossing with my cuttlebug on the blue paper and edge punched it with Martha Stewarts spider web punch.
I used vellum this month with my flowers. I alternated layers of vellum and paper and inked and misted the flower petals.

Vegan
In this case it is actually true! This one is a vegetarian. Not all the way to vegan but pretty close.
I used vellum on my flower and again lots of layering and border punching! I covered the tree in black glitter glue and added a strand of sequins for sparkle.

I stamped the chipboard frame with the Large Elegant Word Background Precut Set from Heartfelt Creations. I inked the edges of all my layers and frames and alpha. This month I focused on the funky photos and played up the beautiful unique papers by using lots of layers and adding fun border punching.

Jack

I took a photo of one of my pre carved pumpkins and gave it that mosiac look in photoshop.
I used my Martha Stewart spiderweb punch again on this one and layered other punching and a postage stamp edge. Leave it to Prima to create a beautiful bat vine. I took the chipboard letters that were in our kit and dipped them in glue and black glitter.
I created the flower with the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die and outlined it in black glitter glue. I also cut a vine using a spellbinders die and the little orange leave ribbon was included in our kits.
