Recently made a scrapbook for my mentor. She loved it ❤️.
This scrapbook is completely handmade. Happy to share the images and a cute impromtu  video made by my daughter, taking my interview 🙂

Down the memory lane on his birthday

Sharing the scrapbook layouts that I created for DH's birthday. I took some of his childhood birthday pics and embellished them. It was loved by all :)

Hi friends. ..sharing a fun layout from my baby book today. Me and kiddo aways have a small argument as to who the baby book belongs to! Is it hers coz she is the heroin of this book or does it belong to me coz I created it for my baby!   Well I know it is for her to cherish the memories when she grows up...but I do not want to give full control to her now...otherwise she would not  even ket me see it let alone the guests who come to our place!:)

These pictures are from our trip to Lonavla for DHs birthday last year. Had a fun time with little one having lotta fun in water.

Sharing a layout from my baby book after a long time. This is a bright and springy layout with our pictures from New Zealand. It was a very pleasant day with our happy little one. 

I user faber castel gelatos for the first time here to color the background..love the smoothness of these beauties! Embellished the layout with flowers and vine to complaint the photos and play with the spring theme.

Celebrate good times - washi tape layout

Hi Peeps

Sharing with you a sweet layout featuring little miss, hubby and MIL.
I went all aboard with washi tapes for the first time. Loved playing with it!

Used some vellum and stamped the sentiments on it and did some doodling. The page is so colorul with washi tapes that it required minimal embellishmens :)

Krishna Janmashtmi layout for a friend

Hi Friends,

Sharing with you a layout which me and my friend made, the highlight being her Son dressed as Krishna. In India most infants would be dressed up as little Krishna and Radha during the festival of Janmastmi.

In this layout we tried to capture the essence of Krishna, by depicting his flute, his favourite peacock and the naughty little krishna who enjoyed eating butter from the overhead hanging earthen vessels, which he and his friends would break with a stone and then relish the fresh home made butter!

Special delivery

Hi Friends, sharing with you a layout which is very close to my heart. It is during the time I was expecting my little one!
We had gone for a lovely road trip to lake entrance and beaucan caves near Melbourne. It was a fun trip with friends. Still cherish the memories. We were four couples. Three of them had a beautiful girl child, and secretly we knew we are going to be honored with our angel soon :) (yes we had kept it a secret for the rest of the world)

Made a lovely garden theme page with vines and bushes painted using acrylic paints. Embellished it with cutesy flowers and birds

Hello Sunshine!

Too many photos?? i dont think so..I can never have enough of them! In my layouts i try to incorporate as many photos as possible..reason being - if I am making a layout capturing a particular moment/event, its for sure i wont make more layouts for the same event. Then all the wonderful pictures which complete my story will not be part of the baby book/scrapbook..they would either be there in the albums or kidnly reqested to be shared by near and dear one's! Does this happen with you???

Do you try to incorporate many pictures in your lo? does it pain you to not be able to use all the lovely pictures in your layout for all practical purposes?

This layout is when my little sunshine was 1+ year old. The pictures are taken in melbourne on my birthday. The little one is enjoying the modak that I had made. I had to pull her hands away from her mouth to get some nice pictures with her! cruel? ;)

Best start of the year!

Hi Peeps
Welcome to my blog this new year..There could not be a better start of the year for me..met my family after  2 long years..played with my little laddu gopal(my bothers son..yey I am bua now!), attended his function and had a blast with all my extended family in India!

Sharing with you today a layout from my daughters baby book. The pictures are taken during Christmas in Melbourne.

I forget things very easily. Sometimes I feel it is good coz I don't burden my mind with unnecessary stuff but sometimes I do wanna remember and cherish the good memories. These are the times I try to capture in pictures. I also used to maintain a diary jotting down the wonderful moments every year..have to be more regular at it.

Cherish the moments! - double slider layout

 

Our little miss has become so talktative..its just so much fun to listen to her. She's like a complete chatter box just at the age of 2! Sharing some of her cuteness with you all..

 - Her favourite numbers at the moment (believe me she knows full lyrics and sings atleast 75% of it correctly!) "Sa re ke sa re ga ma ko le kar gate chale", " Bache mann ke saache, sare jag ki..", "haina bolo bolo, haina bolo bolo..", " hum bhi agar bache hote"

- Fourite rhymes - (English) Baba black sheep, old mac donald had a farm

                         - (Hindi) Me me me bakri, chal chal ke char ghas hari, meetha meetha dudu, gatak gatak ke khoob piyu..takat aati tab itni ek bade haathi jitni, mujhe dekhkar dangal me sher bhagega jangle me"

                         - Chu chu karti aayi chidiya, daal ka dana layi chidiya..

Coming to my layout, I made a double slider layout for the first time. Gave the page a wash of yellow color to get this lovely bright background.
Decorated the border with stickers. The little is "Cherish" using little alphabet characters having fun! The pics are from our New Zealand trip.
The double slider adds a nice interactive element to the baby book.
