three years ago yesterday, Kev put a ring on it.
three years!!?! where does the time go. i was very nostalgic yesterday. reflecting over where our relationship has been and where it's going. i thought i loved him three years ago, but that doesn't even compare to the way i love him now.
marriage with kev is so easy. don't get me wrong, sure, we have our little fights, but always over something so small and trivial. he's easy to love. our marriage comes easy.
i am so blessed and thankful to have found him. we don't celebrate anniversaries other than our marriage anniversary. and i can't even tell you the exact date of when we started dating.......but today I just wanted to acknowledge this moment in time three years ago.....it changed my life all for the better. can't wait to continue to share my life with this man.
just a few photos to capture such an exciting time in our lives....the engagement phase. enjoy!

One year ago....I said yes

One year ago today, Kev got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
It was one of the greatest days of my life.
You can read all about it here

February 11th, 2012

Fast forward to the present.......

We have been happily married for 3 months this weekend.

I love him more today than I ever have.

Kev and I don't really celebrate anniversaries (except for our wedding one of course).
I can't even tell you the exact date we started dating. I just know it was March of 2009. So no, we will not be celebrating an engagement-versary today, but this day will always, always make my heart smile.

Happy Monday y'all!

Engagement Session (extended version) part III

Here is the last round of photos from our engagement session by the fabulous Amy of Angela Anderson Photography.
This post has most of the 3rd and final look that was more formal and shot downtown on the streets of Lexington
I LOVE these.
Some of them are so classic.

They were quite funny to shoot.
We would literally time the stoplights and walk out in the middle of the street during a red light.
Please keep in mind that these were taken on a Friday night people.
There were folks everywhere.
We got horns honked at us, cat calls, and whistles all while our photographer was screaming
"be sexy"
"Kiss her"
"look at him...look away...hug each other"
Hahaha....it was comical and such a fun memory for us to make.
KR was a trooper and played along so well. Love his heart.

I am beyond thrilled with out photographer and the outcome of all the pics.
I seriously die.
I can not imagine how gorgeous the wedding day pics will be.
Enjoy!

Hope you all  have a great week!!!

Engagement Session (extended version) part II

Here are some more photos from our engagement session by the fabulous Amy of Angela Anderson Photography.
This post has most of the 2nd look that has the more country feel to it.
Of course I threw on my cowboy boots with my lace dress for this shot.
This looks is my favorite!
I love the sunlight in them and how lovey dovey Kev and I are in these pics. They feel so soft and natural to me.
Hope you enjoy!

So glad it is friday!
The past two work weeks have almost got the the best of me.
KR and I are off to visit his parents for the weekend for a famiy wedding.
I love road trips...especially in our new toy :-)
But more on that later :-) :-) :-)
