NEW BEGINNINGS

Since this is a New Year, I thought that my first crafty post of the year should be about new beginnings. So here is a card I made for a new baby. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it is a card that I made for my daughter to give to a friend of hers. I really love the simplicity of this card and the new mother was thrilled.

.The image was colored with my copics E11, E13, E09, E15, V04, V12. I used the spica lilac glitter pen and the Cuttlebug baby embossing folder. The card stock is bazzil. That is it. So, I am going to keep this post short because I have some crafting to get back to. There is no work today and it is raining. I have all day to do whatever I want. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.

A VISIT WITH MO'S DIGITAL

Hi everybody, this has been a really strange week and I still feel like everything is moving in slow motion. I have worked late every day since we went back to work, but I have been crafting because it keeps my mind off of all of the devastation of the past couple of weeks.

I have not made anything using my images from Mo's Digital in a very long time. The challenge this  week is Monochromatic and she is having a GD call. You have to enter the challenges the first two weeks of each month to be considered for a GD spot. I have missed Mo and her images and I have used one of the two year olds with attitude. The card I have made is  the second one of this type that I have finished, but I have two more started on my desk waiting to be finished. It is a diagonal pocket card. The instructions can be found on Splitcoast Stampers, it was just so easy to make and it only took 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper. The tags were cut from scraps.

Aren't these just the cutest. I thought that they would be hard to do, but they were not. You should give it a try. The image was colored with copics E09, E11, E13, E23, E15, BV00, BV02, BV04. I used the lilac spica glitter pen on the stripes. The 2 sided card stock is from Recollections and there were 5 different colors and the animal prints, this paper is just perfect for this card. The flower punch is from the Paper Studio. The bling is from Kaiser Scrapbook. the smile stamp is from Paper Inspiration. The sentiment is from Stampablities. I used one of the animal print embossing folders from Cuttlebug to emboss the scalloped ovals. The tags were cut with my Cricut

Of course there are challenges. Where have you been? I always have challenges.

Raise the Bar Flower Power
Top Tip Tuesday Open Challenge
Crafty Catz Challenge Give us a Quote
Phindy's Place Embossing
Paper Romance Use your Favorite Die (spellbinders)
Secret Crafter Challenge Dust off your stash (Mo's image-it has been months since I used one and the ribbon on the tag has been in my box for a couple of years)
Stamp Something Use Digi (Mo's Image)

Well, I have come to the end of this post. I hope that you have enjoyed your visit and that you will come back soon. There is so much going on at my desk and I will have an announcement to make in my next post.

PRETTY IN PINK TILDA

Good morning everyone. What a lovely morning it is. I am going to have to keep this post short, because it is really getting late and I am no where near ready to start my day. I mentioned yesterday that I took an advanced Copics coloring class on Saturday and I hope that this image shows that I did learn a little something. I think that she turned out really good. My image today is one of the fairy tale Tildas, she was given to me by a friend just recently. My favorite place to buy the Magnolia images is the Magnolia-licious online Store it is owned by Diana Crick and she is wonderful. Her service is top notch and I have always been amazed at how fast I receive my orders. Thanks Diana. I can't wait until I can come back over for more shopping.

I have colored Tilda using E53, E51, E50, E25, RV00, RV02, RV11, RV04 and my pink spica glitter pen. The paper is all from The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby. The swirl paper is from a new birthday pack that I recently bought. The flowers are prima from my stash, the pearls are Martha Stewart, bought on clearance months ago and then colored with my RV06 marker. I also used my Martha Stewart leaf punch. I stitched it with my wonderful little Pixie. The sketch is from Sunday Sketch & Stamp this is a 2 week challenge blog.

I really like the way this one turned out.

I have a few challenges that I am entering this one in. But, I guess that does not surprise anyone who has visited my blog.

FEELING BLUE

Good morning, It is Monday and almost time to get ready for work. I just wanted to stop by and post this card that I finished yesterday. I finally got my new office chair put together and I love it. it is big and comfortable. I bought it at Sam's and I'm so glad that I spent the money instead of waiting. It feels better than the one I was looking at at Office Depot and it cost less. So that is a good sellling point.

My card is another Mo image and I did some paper piecing on the dress. It is a birthday card. You can never have to many birthday cards. I colored it with copics E31, E33, E21, E25, B21, B32, B000 and my blue spica glitter pen. The paper is the Paper Studio and the checked paper in my first layer is just from my stash. It was some that my daughter sent me. The flower is from Recollection's at Michaels, $.49 a pack. They were clearanced out last week. The ribbon is from my stash as are the brads. The sentiment is one I made up just for this card. My printer is still not working so I had to hand write it. (I have got to call Kodak and get this taken care of). I embossed the second layer with the birthday folder from Cuttlebug. The sketch is from Diva Coffee Break Designs

As you can see, I am still working on my skin tones and trying different techniques and colors. And working on my shading.

I hope here you can see where I paper pieced her arms and dress. When you look at the card up close it really looks like she is pointing and has her hand on her hips.  This card will be entered into a few challenges. They are as follows

Allsorts Challenge paper piecing (the upper body of the image)
Sew Many Cards Challenge Stitching (it is on my ribbon)
Simon Says Stamp No Cure for those summertime Blues (I think it means the color or summertime)
Papertake Weekly Something old, something new, something borrowed something blue (I got the old, the ribbon and the new the flower and the blue.
Stamptacular Sunday Buttons and Bows (I have one of each)
Well, I guess this is it for this post. I will be back later with the last card of the weekend. Hope you like it.

MO'S INSPIRATION

Happy Sunday everybody, I am finally here with something to post for the week. It has been a very busy week and weekend. But, here I am. Yesterday, I attended an advanced copics class at my favorite scrapbook store.  It was taught by  Christine Ousley, she is on the design team for Simon Says Stamp and the design team for My Scrapbook Mania, which is the store I love. The class was more on coloring and blending and we also made a scrapbook page so I learned some new techniques and the need to practice, practice. So now more than ever I am looking forward to getting Copic certified. I am just waiting for a class to come my way.

On, the way there it rained cats and dogs. If, you knew me, you would know that I hate driving in the rain. The reason being, that a few years ago I was run off the road by an 18 wheeler pulling 2 trailers. My fear of being on the highway during a storm is huge. But, lets not talk about that. After getting back to town, I stopped by Hobby Lobby, they have gotten some new product in the store. They got some of the new Spellbinders in and Tim Holtz new inks and papers (there is actually a whole section for Tim Holtz). They also got some of the new Cuttlebug folders. I think they got some new stamps but it was hard to tell. I did not check to see if they had any new flowers or ribbons. They  have a 40% coupon this week. And no where on it does it say that Copics are excluded. Although they only have 1 green color that I don't have. I may go ahead and buy it this week. After I get 2 of the new Spellbinders. I can't wait.

Anyway, on to my card. first of all, I have used a Mo's Digital Image to go along with their inspirational challenge:
Aren't these colors and elements gorgeous. The sketch that I used is from Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday

The card was colored with Copics E53, E51, E50, E25, Y17, Y35, YR14, Y38, YR65 and a spica glitter pen; peach. The paper is Bazzil for the card stock, the DP is My Minds Eye Home. The wings were done with diamond stickles the image is by Mo, and she is fairy #3 (I think). I used my Nestibilities to cut the image and mat for the image. The flowers are prima. The sentiment is an Inkadinkado stamp. The corrigated card board was bought with the color on it when I first started scrapbooking. The inside of the card was embossed using the birthday folder from Cuttlebug and the sentiment is a stamp from Paper Inspirations, I think it was bought at Michaels. I use it all the time I really should remember this. The colors just happened to be perfect. I will be entering this card into the following challenges.

Flutter by Wednesday Fairies, butterflies or Angels
Crafty Creations Winged Things
Fab N' Funky Your favorite colors (I chose these colors because my apartment is painted Burnt orange around the fireplace and one wall in the dining room, sage green and tan or taupe on other walls and I love the way it looks) these colors are just a variation of those.
Secret Crafters What are girls made of (this card is nothing if not girly)
Sweet Stampin' challenge blog use your favoite image or stamp ( this is to hard, but Mo is one of my favorite artist.   And I do love this image.
Kah-Wink-E-Dink Digi use your favorite digital image (Again Mo is one of my favorite digital artist so this image does it for me (how am I supposed to choose a favorite when I love so many)
Simple Doodles Lets celebrate (what is a birthday if not a celebration)
And last but not least Stamp Something Fairy Tales (I think fairies come from a long line of fairy tales)

Well this is my first card of the week I will be back later with the second.  I hope that you enjoy it. It was so much fun to make.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY 2

Wow, here it is Friday night and I have a new card to post. I am really on the ball this week. What can I say, it is almost 100 degrees outside and my body can not stand to much of those temperatures. So it is easier to get everything done and stay inside the rest of the time. I worked this morning and got off about 1 pm, ran some errands, stopped at Hobby Lobby for some paper that is 50% off, tried to pick up a sandwich at Quizno's (but it was closed along with 2 other restaurants in the same strip mall). I came home made some lunch instead and got to work. Here is the results.

The sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp:

I made a few additions to the sketch, but I think that is allowed.

The image is from Mo's Digital 2 Christmas in July
Pixie Dust Studio a color challenge (Navy, grey/silver, ivory/white)
Tuesday Taggers Christmas in July
Stamptacular Sunday Christmas in July
Stamp Something Christmas in July
Cute Card Thursday Texting, the bigger the better
Creative Inspirations Wednesday Challenge Blog Animals (my doggie should count)
Our Creative Corner Christmas in July

Now, I will tell you a little about this card. It was colored with my copics, C1, E31, E33, E53, E50, E09, G 17, G09, ROO, R20, W3, W5. Spica glitter pens, pink, baby blue, mint and garnet. The card stock is from Hobby Lobby, the Paper Studio, I also used handmade papers from the Paper Studio. I love the look of those papers. (See, I bet you did not think I could use any thing except Bazzill). The sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels, there were 4 different sayings I used 2 together. The bling is from my stash. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss my first layer with the snowflake folder. I used crystal stickles on the snowflakes. The large snowflake was cut with a Martha Stewart punch, which was bought at michaels in the clearance bin for $3.98. The small snowflake is from my stash. I cut the sentiment and its mat with my Spellbinders Nestibliliies. Also, the mat under the image was cut with the scalloped square Nestibilities.  I love these items. And after watching the interviews that Gina K did at the CHA with employees of Spellbinders, Basic Grey, Cuttlebug, I can't wait for the new items to hit the stores. I have got to really start saving some money, so that I will be able to buy some new supplies. She also interview Diana Crick it was great. You should go and check it out. I love the way that this card turned out and hope that you like it

Cute, Chocolate and Mint

Happy Saturday. Can you believe that it has taken me all day to come up with an idea for this card. I think I have spent to much time out in the 98 to 100 degree heat here in the south. I am so looking forward to the fall and some cool weather. The problem with the heat here is that once it hits 90 it never goes away. We have been having this type of weather for months. Oh well, what are you going to do.

You know how I like challenges and you probably know how much I love Mo's Digital images and do you have any idea how much I love chocolate and mint. Well, this card puts all of these things together. But, first lets start with the sketch. It is from The Pixie Cottage their challenge is to use the sketch and or 2 stamps. I took that to mean a sentiment with an image or 2 images.  I chose to use a Mo's Digital Image one of the terrible twos. I love these images. But, the challenge was paper piecing. So, I made 3 copies of the image and layered them together to give it more dimension. I think I will show my card here.

I thought that these two stamps go together so well.

I think that the layering will be considered paper piecing. I am not sure why my brown/chocolate papers always look black. At least the greens look green. I colored the image with my copics. G21, G12, G00, Y02, Y11, E31, E33, E21, E09, E25. I used my spica glitter pens in chocolate on th sentiment and yellow and mint on the image. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the paper. The card stocks are all Bazzill. The sentiment stamp was bought at Hobby Lobby on the clearance rack. I paid $1.49 for it. the brads are from Recollections and have been in my stash for over a year. The ribbon is from my stash. The sparkly flower is from Prima I think it is the spring mix. The flower beneath it is a paper flower was white, and I bought it at Michaels and I paid $.99 for the pack. I then colored it with G21. Well, I guess that it is about the card. Now for the other challenges that I am putting it in.

Crafty Creations Happy or Sweet
Papertake Weekly Cutie Patootie
Fussy  and Fancy Friday Challenge Stitches, scallops and sparkle
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Use a digital image
The Shabby Tea Room From the garden
Stamp Something Something flowery
Creative Inspiration Anything goes

Well this it for tonight, I hope to be back tomorrow with something new and exciting. I would love to know what you think.

TIME FOR A CHALLENGE OR TWO

Happy Sunday my friends. I am truly back. Today I have a card for the first challenges of my return. Now you all know how I love a challenge. And being away for so long was hard. There were days that I was not even interested in making any cards because I could not enter them into a challenge. But all of that is over.

For this card I have used a Mo's Digital  image. This is of the baby in wading pool. I think it is sooo cute. It will also be used for Mo's challenge, summer. And you know that I can't stop with just one challenge.

Alphabet Challenge K is for kids
Cute Card Thursday Schools out for Summer
Pixie Cottage Challenge Aperture (window)
Secret Crafter Aperture (window)

Now on to the card. You know that it is a Mo's image. I colored it with my copics. E21, E00, E13, G07, G21, B0000, B34, B24, B02, b21, B32, Y38, Y35, Y02, W3, W5. The dotted DP is My Minds Eye (home). The paper used mat the image and card base are from Bazzill. I used my Cuttlebug and Nestibilities to cut the window and the stamp is from Michaels dollar bin. The stitches were made with the Pizie craft machine from Singer. I bought it at Big Lots for $30. I had read about it. and there were a lot of people who did not like it. They said it did not have a light, it does. They said that the pedal did not work properly and I don't have a problem with this one. I think that maybe they did not read the directions all the way through. I like it because unlike my big Singer. It sits on my desk and does not take up a lot of space. If I need to move it. It fits on a bottom shelf no problem.

Well, I hope you like my card. And if you do please feel free to leave me lots of love.

DID YOU EVER JUST HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS?

Happy Sunday, I am back with another post and some sad news. Due to the awful weather that we had yesterday, I was unable to walk in the 5K as planned. At just about the time the race was getting started, it started to storm. All day we were in an emergency weather situation. Any outdoor activities in the state were cancelled or postponed. And to be honest I am just not a person who likes getting wet out of the shower. So, I had a lot of time to stay in and play with my papers and Copics and listen to the weather all day long. There  were several deaths from this storm that covered not only my state but, also a neighboring state. My prayers go out to those familys.

My card was made using a Mo's Digital Pencil image, it is called summins wrong. I think I got that right. It is also for Mo's challenge, which is a recipe challenge. 1 ribbon, 2 buttons or brads and 3 designer papers. The second challenge is at Secret Crafter it called for distressing and I am getting a lot of practice with distressing in the last couple of weeks.  Well here is my card. I am really not happy with my skin tone on this image. So please be gentle with me. I can't wait until I can find a copics class to take. I have just been making it up as I go along. I looked at one of the Susan Dean tutorials last night and I am going to give it a try. I really hope to get much better at this.

I love this image and I got it, but was not sure what I was going to do with it. Well this worked just fine. Mo has the most wonderful images and she has something for every occasion. you should go by and check her out. If you have never used a Mo image, you will start to.

I colored this image with my copics. And I am sitting here unable to find the list of what I used. The papers are from My minds eye home collection. The brads are from my stash and I used Versa Magic Dew drop ink Aegean Blue to distress the edges. These are some of the prettiest colors. and so compact. The brads are from my stash and the black ribbon also. The sentiment I wrote on my computer. I thought it just went so well with the image. Well that is it. When I find I copics list I will come back and add them. I hope you like my card. And would love to hear from you.

Something Blue and Oriental

Happy Sunday everyone, I am back and of course I am looking for a challenge. My card today is for a challenge at Sophisticat Challenge blog, the challenge was to make something Oriental. I used this image from Mo's Digital Pencil, it was one of her wonderful freebies some time ago. I have always loved this image and was never sure how I was going to use it. This was the perfect occassion. The second challenge is for Crafty Creation Challenge, different shades of the same color. Well my color is blue. and I definitly have different shades of it. My first paper is a light blue card stock base from Bazzill. The layer of DP was bought at Big Lots on Friday, I saw it and fell in love. It is a deep blue with gold and is very light, almost like a vellum paper. there were 32 pieces of paper in a pack for $2.00. Only three were this design but, it was so worth it. The paper that I matted my image with is also from Bazzill only this one has more of a shine to it. I cut the lace doily with my new stamp from Martha Stewart which I bought with a 50% coupon from Michaels. You know how I love a bargain. The bling is from my stash. The large flower is from Prima's new daisy mix. and the small flowers are from my stash. I cut the leaves or branch with another Martha Stewart stamp that I also used a 50% coupon on. Love those coupons. And last but not least, I colored it with my Copics. And to feed my addiction to Copics, I bought 15 last week at Hobby Lobby during their sale. I can not buy any thing in the month of March. I went way out for my birthday month. All of my birthday money is gone and so is a lot of my money. Now on to the Copics that I used.

Skin: E02, E00, E11
hair: W3, W5
Tea Kettle: c3
Cat: W3, W5
Kimona: B39, B34 and spica glitter pen Baby blue
the Japanese symbol for love I got from the internet, I also colored the background behind the image with B00. but my picture is not as good as I would like. I have got to find a better place to take pictures.

Well, here is my card. I don't know if my skin color is quite right. But I do like this card.

Green, Yellow and Gray

Good morning, once again I am up earlier than I want to be and have decided to post my third card of the weekend. It is a Mo's Digital Image, the image is the little girl reading in the window seat. I am unsure of her name. She was a freebie from Mo sometime ago. And this is the first time that I have colored her. It is also for the challenge at Mo's Digital challenge blog. This weeks challenge is a sketch.

I doubled the challenges up and used a color challenge from Copic Colour Challenge.

I haven't decided what occassion this card will be used for. But, I will probably send it to one of my granddaughters as a thinking of you card since I have already made all of their birthday cards.

This card was made using The Paper Studio as the card base the DP inside was from a pack that I got at Walmarts (Best Occassions). The bling is from my stash and I used the Spellbinders fancy tag cut with my Cuttlebug. The image was colored with my Copics. (I have got to start practicing with my Prismacolor pencils or auction them off)

Skin: E31, E33
Hair: E25, E21
Trees: G28
Book: E40
Wall: E41, E42
Curtain: Y21, Y08... spica gltter pen Buttermilk

Well, here is my card.

Where is the Wood?

WOW, I can't beleive that it is already  5 pm on Sunday, in a few hours it will be time to go back to work to earn some money to replace that which I spent this weekend. How many of you were in a Michaels this weekend. I have been in there several times, because I had 50% coupons and they will only let you use one at a time/or one a day. Well I walked in there on Friday at lunch time and fell in love. They had some of the new Prima flowers... roses, daisies,  spring mix, summer mix. and the paper, My Minds Eye... HOME. OMG... every thing was just gorgeous. the flowers coordinated with the paper. Can you keep a secret. Don't tell my friends. They keep telling me that I have a problem. I tell them that I can quit whenever I want. This is a sure sign that I have a problem. But really, is it a problem if you acknowledge it. I bought both sets of roses, I bought the spring mix, and the summer mix and don't forget the daisies. I bought the 6x6 paper and the 4.5x6.5 matting paper. I have already made 2 cards from it. I plan to get the 12x12 also. I have never in my life fell in love with paper. Some of it has glitter, and it all works together.

My first card is for Mo's Digital 2 challenge, The challenge was to use wood or would. I colored my images mat to look like wood. I think my images name is Monique, she is an angel and she blowing her horn. I had never used her before and I thought she would work for my birthday just as well as for Christmas. So she looks like she is making the announcement that it is my birthday next Monday.

I colored the image and the mat with my Copics:
My angel:
skin: E31, E33, E21
hair: E09, E25, E21
Robe: E40, E41
Wings: crystal stickels
Background: E27, E21
Horn: Y17, Y28

The flowers are from the new Prima line, the roses and the bloom. The paper is from the new Minds eye HOME. I do love these. The bling is from my stash. and this card came out better than I thought it would. I am not as happy with my photo. It has been dreary and cold here for days and there has been very little sunshine. The lighting in my apartment is awful and I have to move my lttle ott light from room to room trying to get the best place. This is a pain.

I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the pendant from the Fleur de lis. (I had a problem using this one, it did not cut well setting it up the way they directed me to) the paper was not that thick. but sections of the larger die did not go through.

SHADES OF GRAY

My next post is for a challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil 2, It called for shades of gray. I really love the way this card turned out. I am going to give it to my sister and brother-in-law for their anniversary which just happens to be the day before her birthday. Wow, she is going to have to be my slave for life after she gets all of her goodies. The image that I have used is Jack and Ginger by Mo. and they were just perfect for this card. I colored it with my Copics and this time I did not lose my notes.

The gray rhinestones came from Michaels, I was so surprised to see that color that I just had to buy them.

The gray flowers are from Primas from Michaels. and the purple rose was given to me by a friend. The gray paper used for the card base is from Hobby Lobby the Paper Studio. The DP paper is from Walmart, I was looking around for papers with gray in them and they had what they called a scrap pack and is by Best Occasions. It came with 10 sheets of 8.5x11 paper. and accent punches with words and frames and and I think I must have paid about $4-6 for it. but hey I did not have time to look for a better deal.

As I was going through my notebook, I realized that I could also use this card for the challenge at Sophisti-Cat, it is about love. Love at any age should count. When you see this card you will know they are in love.
Well here it is.

Celebrate at Mo's Digital Pencil

It is Sunday afternoon, the weekend is almost over. The only really good thing about this is that I got quite a bit of coloring done and I feel 100% better than I did when I got off work on Thursday. All to soon it will be time to return to my job. Where I make the money to be able to play with my colors and papers. I LOVE MY JOB.

Now on to my card. This card takes care of a couple of challenges. You had to know that I would be entering into at least one challenge. (love them). This one card actually covers three challenges. First let's start with Mo's Digital Pencil, too, the challenge was BIRTHDAY so of course I made a birthday card using the MO's image "Mary tapping". The image was colored with Copics. The colors were chosen because of the color challenge at "Sweet Stampin Colour Challenge". The colors were Certainly celery, Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and Almost Amethyst. Well I did not have these particular colors so I used what I had that came the closest to these.

Mary's outfit was colored with: Rv00, Rv11, R39
skin: E31, E33
hair: E21, E09, E25
The shoes: W5 and then I went over them with Spica glitter pen Pitch Black
The packages: BV04, V17, V12 and Spica glitter pens: Garnet, Blossom, Lilac and Mint
I have Set B.

I colored 2 images of Mary and then cut one of them out and using pop dots I layered the 2 together and it really makes it look like she is moving. I love the way this turned out.

The sketch is from Stamp Something, I recently visited this blog and became a repeat visitor.  Please leave a comment, I would really like to hear what you think of this card.

Another New Years Card

I can't believe that it is already Sunday and almost 12 noon. Before you know it will be time to go back to work. 3 days just goes by to fast. But, I have had a good time. I got to play with my papers and pens and even spent some time with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I used them on the card I am posting. It is for the challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil. I used one of Mo's images. I feel bad because I don't remember the little girls name. But, I think she is so beautiful. And she looks like she is having such a good time. I thought that I would use her to say Happy New Year to a friend that I did not send a Christmas card to.

As I said before, I used my Prismacolor pencils and OMS to color the dress and hair and parts of the flowers. I used my Sakura gel pens on the butterfly and some of the flowers. But for the skin I used my Copics. I have not practiced enough with the pencils to do skin color yet. But, I plan to work on it.

This card will also be entered into a challenge over at If the Shoe fits, Scrap it. The challenge there was to use 10 of brads, embellishments or bling. I used 10 rhinestones along the edge of my card. The ribbon is from my stash as was the rhinestones. Some of the purple papers came from my scrap folder. The DP is left over from my granddaughters scrapbook. The flowers are from my dwindling stash. The sentiment was typed on the computer and then I went over each letter with my Sukura purple metallic gel pen. And I used a little crystal stickles to represent fireworks.

I really like how this card turned out. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. I love to read your comments.

Happy New Year

It seems as though I have been away for a really long time, even though it has only been a week since I posted my last card. Well I finally finished all of my Christmas cards and they are in the mail and some have even been received. Glad that is over. My card today is a New Year card. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is a freebie that was given after Mo reached 700 followers on Paper Craft Planet. Is'nt she the best. I love this image. The card is also for a challenge  at Mo's. The theme is Just White. Everything on the card is white except the image. The image was colored with my Copics, on the baby's skin I used E21, the hat C3 and C5. On the banner I used Y08 and Y21. on the dog I used E25, E31 an E33. And I used crystal stickles on the year and to give the image a little pop. For all of the different textures I used my Cuttlebug and the circles for made with my Nesstibilities.

The card is also for Mojo Monday #117 challenge. I would really love to hear from you. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Mummu Dances

Ok, I am back and I think this one is really good. First off let me say that the image rocks... it is from Mo over at Mo's Digital Pencil. I love it. When I am more mature I hope I can rock it like Mummu...

Now for a little about the card. I'm sure that those of you who check me out on a regular basis know that this card is for a couple of challenges. First, is the Colour Create Challenge. The colors were lilac, aqua, black and white. I think that I hit it on the head. Secondly,  its for a sketch over at Mojo Monday challenge #116. once again this is totally there. Of course I colored it with my Copics; the hair was done with W1, W3 and W5. The skin is E31 with just a touch of E33. The jacket was done with B21, B24, B32. And then this morning I added a little of BG72 over it and I knew that was what I wanted. The skirt was a challenge in itself because I just wasn't sure what I was looking for.  I used V04, V12 and RV00. I even put a little R29 on her toes. Last but not least on her shoes I used E09, E37 and E33. Don't you just love it. I used my scalloped Nesstibilites in the 3 larger sizes for my circles. The paper was from Hobby Lobbies Paper Studio. I bought it specifically for the color challenge. The ribbon is from my growing stash and I actually tied a bow. The words in the sentiment come from a stamp that I have from Stampabilities. They were typed on the computer and then I used an EK punch for the edges. I have really got to learn how to use these stamps. I guess it will take practice, practice and more practice.

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of my newest card.
