What do you know about Flipbooks

Good morning bloggers, I just can't seem to get consistent with my post but, believe me I am really trying to figure it out. I have been wondering if maybe I need to change my content or just find the time to set up multiple post at one time. I will figure it out. I just seem to be so busy in my life right now. There is so much going on and there never seems to be enough time for every thing that I want to do.

But, I have lots of projects that I want to show and I will start with the following flipbook. Flipbooks are a major craze out on YouTube and most people use them to send small gifts to other crafty friends. I find that they are perfect for little brag books to showcase your favorite photos. the following is one that I made for one of my challenges on YouTube.

The papers used are from Craftsmart, it is called blush glam and can be found at Michaels. The stamp is from the $1.50 bin at Michaels. The image is from Prima and is one of the Julie Nutting dolls. the stick pin was made by me and the bling is from my stash. the flower is also from the $1.50 bin at Michaels. I colored the image with my copics.

The doily is from Michaels and I used a Spellbinders die to cut the mat. the flower and bling are from my stash. The base for this album is from chipboard.
This is  the back of  the album.

GET WELL SOON CARD

Good morning, I am writing this post from Georgia for a short getaway with my sisters. We plan to do lots of shopping and eating of good food. But, we just wanted to have some time together to hang out. And since it has been so long since I posted anything to my blog, I thought that I would upload a photo that has been sitting around in my folder.

A get well card that I made for a co-worker. The image is from Art Impressions and so is the sentiment. I colored it with copics E00, E02, E11, R81, R82, W1, W5. The papers are from the blush glam collection from Smart Craft.  The stamps come from a new set that I got at Michaels recently. Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear from you so please leave a comment in the box below.

LATE GRADUATION POST

Good morning, I have been spending my time trying to get some crafting done and some scrapbooking. I am so far behind and my photos are piling up fast.  I am going to be participating in a couple of craft fairs in November and I'm working on that also. It is hard to know what to make and how much. But, I will do my best to get ready for these challenges.

Today I have a card to share with you and it was a graduation card that I made for my granddaughter. The paper is some that I found in my stash and I am not sure where it came from. But, I really think that it is a Paper Studio Sheet. The image is from Tellen's Place Designs. Terry is not open any longer but, I still love all of her images. this was colored with my copics:  E11, E09, E13, C3, C5, C1, C7. The card base is one of the Recollections corrugated cards. The embellishments are from The Paper Studio and I have had them in my stash for years.
Well, this is all about this card. I will be back soon with a new project.

S.M.C.O.F. PRIMA DOLL PROJECT (10)

Good morning, it is time for another challenge with my friend Shanta, every couple of weeks we challenge each other to use up some of the product that we have on hand or to try to create  something that we have never tried before. This week we decided to use some of the Prima Doll stamps that we have both bought over the last couple of years and not used more than a few times. We could make any project that we wanted as long as it had one of these stamped images on it. I decided to make a mini album using the collage art paper pad from DCWV. I love this paper and had never even broke the seal on it and it had been in my stash for several months.
I colored the image with copics E11, E13, E09, E33, E31. Her dress was paper pieced with paper from the paper pad and I used my wink of stella glitter pen to give her shoes and dress a shimmer.

The papers in this pad are so pretty and reminds me of an art journal. I did not have to add very much to it at all. The ribbon closure is from my stash and the dimensional hearts are from the paper studio every thing else is from the paper pad. There is room for lots of photos and journaling. I added to pockets for tags and more photos.
I love the colors and textures of this paper.
I cut the banner from one of the cutouts in the pad and the butterfly page is all paper. I did not add anything to it.
There are 5 pages on the right side of the book and 3 pages and pockets on the left side of the book. I hope that you like this project and it was fun to make and you can see the video here on my YouTube channel. Please stop by and check it out.

It's been a long time since I posted any of my projects. It just seems that there is not enough time in the day for all of things going on in life. I hope to get back to blogging on a more regular basis. There are lots of things that I want to share with you. My creativity has gone in many directions so some of my post will be out of the norm. I still make cards but I enjoy art journaling and altering projects. But, I am also going back to my love of scrapbooking and will be sharing some of my layouts here also. Project life has become a big part of scrapbooking and I will be giving that a try too. So stay tuned and I hope that you enjoy the journey.

Todays project is a birthday card that I made for my daughter this year. It was made using an image of Scarlett from Bugaboo Stamps. The  card was made using the corrugated card base from Recollections and the image was colored using my copics. The card stock is bazzill and some scraps from my left overs. There was some stickles involved and bling from my stash.

EASTER BUNNY

Hi everyone, yes I am back with another post. Yeah me! I was playing around with some scraps and some images that I found already colored in a box. And came up with the following card. It is a very simple card with only a couple of layers some buttons and bling and ribbon. I don't remember who the image is from so if you know, leave me a message. I really would like to give them credit.  I did color with copics. Everything on this card was left over from other projects.

HAVE A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY

Good morning, it is the perfect day for crafting. It is raining out and I get to stay in and play for awhile. Love it. I have a lot of projects that I want to work on and so little time. Today I have a gorgeous card that I have made for my second oldest granddaughter who is going to be 18 in a couple of weeks. She will graduate from high school in May although, she finished all of her classes before Christmas. She loves red, lots of bling and flowers. So, the card was made using the corrugated cards from Michaels as the base and the card stock is bazzill. The designer paper is from a Valentine pack from Recollections. and a sheet of paper that I have had in my stash from the Paper Studio. The bling is recollections and the flowers are the Paper Studio bought on clearance after Valentine day. Just because a paper comes out during a holiday it can always be used for other occasions.

The image is from Kenny K and was colored with copics E00, E13, E09, E11, E15, R05, R24, R27, Y28 N2, N4. The image was matted using a Sizzix die.

The stamp on the front of the card is from a clear stamp set and it is stamped on a punch die from EK success, the inside stamp is from Hobby Lobby. The lips are from a valentine set of embellishments. Well, that is it for my card.

FRUITS / VEGETABLES AT BROWN SUGAR # 30

Good morning crafters, today is Friday and it is time for another challenge at Brown Sugar Challenge Blog. This week the challenge is Fruit/Vegetable. Makes you think of a nice big salad doesn't. The sponosr this week is QKR Stampede. I stopped by the store to take a look and they are fabulous. You really do need to check it out. The Brown Sugar Divas Team B have been very busy this week getting ready for this challenge and I think you are going to have some fun. So, get out your fruit/vegetable images and join us. Please remember that you must follow the challenge exactly or you entry will be disqualified. Now lets get on with it.

I have berries, and black berries at that.  I colored them with my copics BV17, V01, V09, V15, YG06, YG03, G09. I needed to add a few cards to my stash so I made this a thinking of you card. The bling is from my stash. I used the Tim Holtz baroque die (large) to cut the die cut. I embossed the background with a cuttl bug folder that I bought on clearance and forgot to write down the name before I through away the packaging. I thought that this came out kind of cute. I edged the die cut with my gold leaf pen.

And now it is time for team B to lead the  challenge at Tuesday Throwdown, this week the challenge is MONOCHROMATIC (using different shades of the same color). I love the look of this type of project the colors can be from lightest to darkest in a color family. You can get some fantastic looks. So come on over and join us, Our Sponsor this week is Sweet and Sassy Stamps. I kept my card really simple and without a lot of layers.

I have a friend who needs a little lift and I plan to send her just a short message to let her know that I am thinking about her. I colored this with my copics YR14, YR21, Y38, Y32. I did not even use any glitter this time. The sentiment is a $1 stamp from michaels. The bling is from my stash and the embossing folder is from Cuttlebug (art deco set).
