Varied Vases Card for Two Challenges

There is only today and tomorrow to get retiring goodies, so I used lots of them on this card!

It's also for two challenges.

And then there's an inspiration photo at Hand Stamped Sentiments#340 here.
I was inspired by the pinks and greens of the flowers and thought of the Best Dressed DSP.

Varied Vases is the stamp set which is retiring but not the punch. The Best Dressed DSP and the Petal Pink ribbon are also retiring.

Two for Tuesday Varied Vases Card

Here's a card for a sketch and a color challenge.

First, I've used the sketch at The Paper Players#488 here.

And then the colors are for Fab Friday#188 here.
The colors to use are Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Grapefruit Grove.

I've used a number of things that are going to retire.

Varied Vases is the stamp set with some 2018-2020 In Color DSP and some Subtles DSP. The Pool Party card stock was run thru the Country Floral embossing folder. And there's some 1/8 inch Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain ribbon.  All these items except the Pool Party card stock are retiring.

Happiness Card for the Global Design Project

This pretty card is for the color challenge at the Global Design Project#237 here.
The colors to use are Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Night of Navy.

The flower stamp is from Ornate Style and the greeting from Varied Vases, which is retiring!

There's a bit of Subtles 6 by 6 DSP and the border is from the Ornate Layers dies.

I added some color to the WW piece by flicking my markers in the three colors.

Thank You Card for Two Challenges

I'm back to stamping after an emotional week!

My father-in-law passed away and we had his wake and funeral last week. Or celebration of "a wonderful life" as he would have called it. A great tribute to a great man!
We were supposed to have been in Florida but actually did make it down there for a few days after the funeral. It was beautiful weather, relaxing and we toasted on the beach to him!

Back yesterday to snow-enough already, it's April.

Needless to say we need many thank you cards for the generosity of friends and family!

I saw this technique on page 33 in the new catalog and thought I'd give it a try.  I used the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin Blends to create the plaid background.
