Sunny Birthday Card for a Mojo Sketch

I made this card for the MojoMonday sketch#177 here.
I started with Poppy Parade card stock and added some Peach Parfait then papers from the Sunny Garden DSP. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the images from On A Pedestal. The cake stand was stamped in Poppy Parade, the present inked up with Daffodil Delight and Peach Parfait Stampin Write markers and the greeting inked up with Pear Pizzazz. I used the Build a Cupcake punch to punch out the cherry with Red Glimmer paper and the stem with Pear Pizzazz. The greetings in both the circle and the pennant are from Birthday Bliss and were inked up with Poppy Parade and stamped on Whisper White. The top one was punched with the 1 1/4 inch Circle punch and layered onto a Poppy Parade piece punched with the 1 3/8 inch Circle punch. I trimmed down the birthday bliss, matted it with Poppy Parade, and snipped it into the pennant shape. The pennant and circles were popped up with Stampin dimensionals.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: On a Pedestal and Birthday Bliss
Papers: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz and Sunny Garden DSP
Inks: Daffodil Delight and Peach Parfait Stampin Write markers, Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz Classic Stamp pads
Accessories: 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch Circle punches, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Build a Cupcake punch, Stampin dimensionals, Red Glimmer paper

Splitcoast Color Challenge #282 Birthday Bliss

I had fun creating this card for the Splitcoast Color Challenge #282 here. The colors are Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red and Early Espresso.
I started with a base of Early Espresso. I used the Riding Hood Red polka-dot papers from Love Letter DSP and layered a piece of Riding Hood Red behind that. I stamped the image from Birthday Bliss in Early Espresso and used Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red and Blushing Bride Classic Stamp pad and blender pens to color in the cakes. I then punched that out with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch. I used the Circles #2 Sizzix die to cut out the Blushing Bride circle and the 2 3/8 inch Scallop circle punch for the Early Espresso piece. That's popped up with Stampin dimensionals. "Happy Birthday" from On Your Birthday was stamped in Early Espresso, punched with the Word Window punch and layered onto a piece of Early Espresso punched with the Modern Label punch. A piece of 1/8 inch Early Espresso taffeta ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bliss and On Your Birthday
Papers: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, Love Letter DSP
Inks: Early Espresso, Blushing Bride and Riding Hood Red
Accessories: 2 3/8 inch Scallop circle punch, Circles #2 Sizzix die, 1 3/4 inch circle punch, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, Stampin dimensionals

PPA#42 Color Challenge Birthday Card

Here's my take on the PPA#42 Color Challenge to use Old Olive, Real Red and Tempting Turquoise at PPA here.
I used a sketch from the January Stampin' Success ( a magazine we Stampin' UP! demos get each month).
I started with a Tempting Turquoise card stock base and added a strip of Turquoise DSP from the Pink Flamingo DSP. I stamped the image from Birthday Bliss in Basic Black on Whisper White card stock. I then paper-pieced the cake in the three colors. "Happy birthday" from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Old Olive on Old Olive card stock and a Silver brad was added to that piece. A few staples and the 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bliss and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper white, Old Olive, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Pink Flamingo DSP
Inks: Basic Black
Accessories: silver brad, staples, 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain

PPA#39 in New 2010 Color Collection

I made this card for the PPA#39 KISS challenge here AND to share a sneek-peek of 5 of the NEW color collection colors.
I started this card with a Kraft(soon to be Crumb Cake) base. The bottom of the card has some Early Espresso on it. I stamped the image from Birthday Bliss on Whisper White then punched that out with the 1 3/8 inch square punch. I paper pieced the cake image with some Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler card stock. I ran the a piece of Daffodil Delight thru the Scallop Edge punch. Then I punched circles of Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist with the handheld, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches. The Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight one has a sliver brad added to the center and one is popped up on Stampin dimensionals. Finally, I stamped Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Sahara Sand classic ink. Look for more info on the New Color Collection coming soon!
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bliss and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Kraft, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist
Inks: Basic black, Sahara Sand
Accessories: Scallop edge punch, 1 3/8 inch square punch, handheld, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches, silver brad, Stampin dimensionals

PPA#38 Teal Birthday

This birthday card is for the PPA#38 sketch challenge here.
I'm really gonna miss the Sweet Pea DSP that I used here but it's such a great value cuz you get so many different patterns. I used 4 stamp sets on this one: Birthday Bliss, Party Hearty, Think Happy Thoughts and Teeny Tiny Wishes.
The top and bottom squares were colored with the Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal Stampin Write markers then punched out with the 1 1/4 inch square punch. On the middle square I stamped happy birthday in Taken with Teal then added a popped up present image from Party Hearty that I stamped in Pumpkin Pie. Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Taken with Teal on Pumpkin Pie card stock then punched out with the Curly Label punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bliss, Party Hearty, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Think Happy Thoughts
Papers: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal and Sweet Pea DSP stack
Inks: Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal Stampin Write markers and Stampin pads
Accessories: 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch square punches, Curly label punch, 3/4 inch circle punch, stampin dimensionals

I'm back with Two Challenges!

I'm back from an awesome Easter vacation in Florida! It was such nice weather and sooooo relaxing! But, like a true stamper, I did miss my stamping. So to catch up I made this birthday card for two challenges, Stamping 411 sketch #146 here and Splitcoast color combo #266 here.
The color combo is Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral and Ruby Red. These are three of the 30 retiring Stampin UP! colors that will be gone after June 30th. If you love them, get them now!
I started with a Blush Blossom base, added a piece of Cameo Coral and then a piece of Cameo Coral patterned paper from the Pink Flamingo DSP. I ran a piece of Ruby Red thru the Scallop Edge punch and a piece of Blush Blossom thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka dots textured impressions folder. I stamped the Birthday Bliss in Ruby Red and again in Cameo Coral. I punched the main image out with the Wide Oval punch. I then cut out a piece of the Cameo Coral and popped that up with Stampin dimensionals. A piece of 1/4 inch Whisper White grosgrain finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Birthday Bliss
Papers: Whisper White, Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Ruby Red and Pink Flamingo DSP
Inks: Cameo Coral and Ruby Red
Accessories: Wide oval punch, scallop edge punch, stampin dimensionals, 1/4 inch Whisper White grosgrain, Perfect Polka dots textured impressions folder
