A Card for Two Challenges

I'm making up for not stamping yesterday with a card for two challenges. First, I used the Splitcoast sketch#305 here  and the PPA #67 Color Challenge here. The colors are Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray and Poppy Parade.
So I started with a 4 1/4 square card and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper textured impressions embossing folder. I added Poppy Parade DSP from the DSP Pack In-Color and Daffodil Delight DSP from the Patterns DSP Brights stack. I stamped the sentiment from Cheep Talk in Basic Gray, the bird in Poppy Parade and the flower in Daffodil Delight. Then I stamped the tiny flower in Poppy Parade on the same card stock and punched it out with the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack. I popped that up with a little bit of a Stampin dimensional. I then punched out the big flower with the 1 inch circle punch and added a piece of Daffodil Delight punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. Finally, a piece of 3/8 inch Daffodil Delight taffeta finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Cheep Talk
Papers: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Poppy Parade, DSP Pack In-Color, Patterns DSP Brights stack
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray, Poppy Parade
Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches, Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack, stampin dimensionals, 3/8 inch Daffodil Delight taffeta ribbon

Stamping 411 Sketch #173 Thanks

I still need more thank yous so I made this one for the Stamping 411 sketch #173 here.
The base is Baha Breeze and then I added some Chocolate Chip card stock and DSP from the Greenhouse Gala DSP. I colored in the branch from Cheep Talk with Chocolate Chip and Pear Pizzazz Stampin write markers. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to add the sentiment, which was stamped in Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the bird in Baha Breeze and colored in the beak and legs with Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip Stampin write markers. The flower was stamped in Pumpkin Pie and punched out with the 1 inch circle punch.and layered on to a Chocolate Chip piece punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. I used the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes punches pack to punch out the Baha Breeze circle. Finally, some 1/4 inch Pumpkin Pie grosgrain finishes it off.
Here's my recipe:

PPA2 Sketch Challenge

We're back from a fun weekend in St. Louis! We had a great time with the DeMarco family! They live in Kirkwood and it's just a darling town. So today I'm trying to catch up on laundry, sketches and challenges so I'm playing along again at PPA! This is a Stampin' UP demonstrators blog with fun challenges. Last week was a color combo and this week is a sketch challenge. I need a bunch of thank you notes so I made this one using the Cheep Talk stamp set and Pink Flamingo designer papers. The Stamp-a-ma-jig comes in very handy for perfectly lining up these images.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Cheep Talk

Papers: Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Pink Flamingo Designer Papers

Inks: Chocolate Chip and Summer Sun Stampin' Write Markers, Cameo Coral and Tempting Turquoise Classic Ink Pads

Accessories: Scallop edge punch, 1/4 inch Tempting Turquoise grosgrain ribbon
