MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas to all! Hope you're all enjoying the day with family and friends. We're having our family Christmas this morning and heading to Kenosha with the rest of the family in the afternoon. We're thankful for everyone and everything we have!
I'm sharing my last Christmas project for this year, a gift bag for my mom's presents. I was inspired by this card that I saw on Splitcoast.
The kraft bag was stamped with the snowflake from Patterned Pines in Real Red, Old Olive and Soft Suede. The panel has a piece of the flocked specialty paper from Christmas Cocoa. There's a piece of the 1 1/4 inch Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon that's wrapped up with a Circle Fire brad. I punched a piece of Whisper White with the Ornament punch. I stamped the leaf from Berry Christmas in Old Olive, the berries in Real Red, and "make merry" in Soft Suede. That's popped up with Stampin' dimensionals. The ribbon stamp was stamped in Versamark then embossed with Silver embossing powder. The tag is from Christmas Punch, layered on a piece of Old Olive punched from the Wide Oval punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas and Delightful Decorations, Christmas Punch, Patterned Pines
Papers: Whisper white, Old Olive, Real Red, Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers
Inks: Old Olive, Real Red, Soft Suede, Versamark
Accessories: Circle Fire brad, Ornament Punch, Scallop oval punch, Wide oval punch, 1 1/4 inch Old Olive striped grosgrain ribbon, Silver embossing powder, Mistletoe ribbon, Stampin dimensionals

Stamping 411 Flocked Ornaments

Obviously I can't stop using the Delightful Decorations set!

I made this card for the Stamping 411 challenge here.
I punched out a piece of the red flocked paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers with the Ornament punch. I stamped the ribbon from Berry Christmas in Real Red. And the joy ornament was stamped in Old Olive. The Real Red Stampin write marker was used to create the other ornament hangers. Finally, I stamped Merry Christmas in Real Red. A piece of 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon finished the design.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Delightful Decorations, Berry Christmas, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red and Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers
Inks: Real Red and Old Olive classic stampin pads, Real Red Stampin write marker
Accessories: 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' dimensionals

SC 257 Ornaments

I'm on a roll-another post today to make up for last week!
Here's another Christmas card done for the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge #257 here. I just love the Delightful Decorations set from the Holiday Mini! And the coordinating punch makes for fast cards. I masked the Soft Suede ornament then stamped the two other ornaments in Real Red. I'm really trying not to hoard my papers and to use up the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Papers.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Delightful Decorations
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Soft Suede and Christmas Cocoa specialty papers
Inks: Real Red and Soft Suede, Basic Black Stampin write marker
Accessories: Ornament Punch, 1 1/4 inch square punch, 1 3/8 inch square punch

I had time to play this morning so I made this for the Stamping 411 sketch here. I'm not going to hoard paper anymore so you might be seeing a lot of the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers. I used the Berry Christmas stamp set, the Jumbo Snowflake punch and some Mistletoe ribbon. The greeting was stamped in Soft Suede and punched out with the Modern Label punch.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Soft Suede and Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Real red and Soft Suede
Accessories: Silver brad, Jumbo snowflake punch, Mistletoe ribbon, Modern Label punch

It's December! (SC256)

Can you believe it's actually December?
I've been m.i.a. for a few reasons. It was a nice Thanksgiving weekend with family. And then I threw out my back starting to decorate for Christmas. Today was the first day I could sit to stamp a little.
So I caught up with the Splitcoast sketch #256 here.
This was a quick card cuz, again, I just traced the dimensions on a piece from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers. And only one thing stamped was the greeting. It's hard to see, but I ran the Soft Suede piece thru the Big Shot with the small polka dots from the Backgrounds 1 texturz plates. The circle is punched with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch and the snowflake with the Jumbo snowflake punch. An Antique brass brad adheres the snowflakes to the card.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Soft Suede
Accessories: Jumbo snowflake punch, 1 3/8 inch circle punch, word window punch, modern label punch, antique brass brad. Backgrounds 1 texturz plates

MOJO #113 Tree

This one is for the MOJO#113 sketch challenge here.
It's also for a Color Combo over at Splitcoast, CC245, Always Real Chocolate here. I used markers to ink up the tree image from Season of Joy. Real Red is on the star, Always Artichoke on the tree and Chocolate Chip on the trunk. There's a strip of Real Red from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers and a square of Always Artichoke from To the Nines Specialty Papers.
The snowflake is also from Season of Joy, inked up with the Red and Artichoke markers. A tiny Circle Ice Rhinestone brad is in the center of the snowflake. And the ribbon is from the Mistletoe ribbon in the Holiday Mini.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Season of Joy
Papers: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Cocoa Christmas Specialty, To the Nines Specialty
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke and Real Red Stampin write markers
Accessories: White gel pen, Mistletoe Ribbon originals, Circle Ice Rhinestone brad, 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch circle punch, scallop circle punch, Stampin dimensionals

Mojo #112 Simple Christmas Poinsettia

Now that it's Saturday, I'm finally getting to the MojoMonday sketch #112 here. I'm using the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers again with the Berry Christmas stamp set. I stamped off the poinsettia image once with Real Red ink then stamped it again, just moving the image to create a little fuller look. That's easily punched out with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch then layered onto the scallop circle punch. I popped that up with a few Stampin' dimensionals. I also used the 1 3/8 inch punch for the Soft Suede circle but just folded that in half. My Crop-a-dile punched the hole thru the three layers of card stock with ease. A little Mistletoe ribbon and it's done!
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Soft Suede and Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers
Ink: Real Red and Old Olive
Accessories: Mistletoe ribbon, 1 3/8 inch circle punch, scallop circle punch, Crop-a-dile, white gel pen, Stampin dimensionals

Splitcoast Sketch #254 Make Merry

I "made merry" for the Splitcoast Sketch #254 here. I know I'm a broken record here but I just love these sketches because it's too easy to trace the exact measurements onto card stock then create a quick and easy card! I used some Old Olive Patterns Paper and some Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper with the Berry Christmas stamp set. I broke up the sentiment and used the Stamp-a-ma-jig for that and to put the bird in the wreath.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Old Olive, Old Olive Patterns, Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Real red and Old Olive
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig

Snow Simple Suede Snowflake

This was a really fast and easy card to make! I just let the Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper do all the work. I cut a piece of the flocked snowflake and layered that on a Soft Suede card base. The little snowflake is from the Christmas Punch stamp set and was punched out with the coordinating Boho Blossoms punch. I used white craft ink for the Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment and embossed that with white embossing powder. A silver brad attaches the snowflake and some ribbon completes the card.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Christmas Punch and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Papers: Whisper white, Soft suede and Christmas Cocoa Specialty

Inks: Soft Suede and white craft ink

Accessories: word window punch, white embossing powder, boho blossoms punch, 1/2 inch soft suede polka dot grosgrain ribbon, silver brad

Here's my recipe:

Stamping 411 Make Merry

It's a rainy Monday here in Southeastern Wisconsin so I "made merry" and did this card for the Stamping 411 challenge here. This challenge was a little out of my comfort zone, only because it was to make a square card. It is pretty cute if I do say so myself. This is a bit too big to fit in an A2 envelope but it would make a nice gift card holder.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Berry Christmas
Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Soft Suede and Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Real Red and Soft Suede
Accessories: 1/2 inch Soft Suede polka-dot grosgrain ribbon, Modern label punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig

I'm on a Christmas Card Kick

I'm really rolling on my Christmas cards. I got an order from a customer for Christmas cards so I made this one after seeing an awesome idea on Jill Hilliard's blog. Here's the link to her blog and the idea to use the Pumpkin Patch stamp set for images other than pumpkins. She's got really cute ideas so thanks for the inspiration! I changed the card a bit and used the Top Note Die. I also used the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Papers.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Pumpkin Patch and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty

Inks: Old Olive, Real Red, Soft Suede

Accessories: Top Note die, Word Window Punch, Modern Label punch, 3/8 inch taffeta Mistletoe Ribbon originals, Stampin' dimensionals

Stamping 411 Snowman

This Christmas card is for the Stamping 411 Challenge here. Their challenges are fun and quick because they give you helpful measurements for your cards. I used the Two Cool Dudes stamp set and the snowflake from Delightful Decorations for the background on the Whisper White piece of card stock. The striped paper is from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper. I propped up the snowman with some Stampin dimensionals but it's kind of hard to see in the picture. Really cute in real life!
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Two Cool Dudes, Delightful Decorations, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty
Inks: Real Red and Soft Suede
Accessories: 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon, Small Tag punch, Tag punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label punch, ticket corner punch, Stampin dimensionals

The Old Olive polka dot papers are from the Olive Patterns DSP and the Red and Suede papers are from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Papers.

Mojo Monday Red Snowflake

It's another card for the Mojo Monday sketch here. I've got Christmas on my mind again and my favorite color, red ,too. So I thought I'd use the papers from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers. I stamped the large snowflake from the Snow Swirled set. Then I used my Coluzzle to cut out the circle. The Real Red scallop circle is cut with the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz die. A strip of Real Red 3/4 inch polka dot grosgrain ribbon and some silver brads finish it off.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Snow Swirled
Papers: Whisper White, Real Red, Christmas Cocoa Specialty Papers

Mojo#106 Christmas Card

Happy Monday to you! I'm keeping up with the MojoMonday #106 sketch here. and just getting a head start on my Christmas cards. I used the Christmas Punch Hostess stamp set on this one. I inked up the main image with Soft Suede and Real Red markers and used the Real Red Classic Stamp pad for the snowflake. The Boho Blossoms punch coordinates with the three snowflakes stamp in this set. I popped the snowflake up with some Stampin dimensionals. Being a "red girl" at heart, I love to use the 3/4 inch Real Red polka-dot grosgrain ribbon too.

Here's my recipe:

Stamps: Christmas Punch

Papers: Whisper white, Real Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP

Inks: Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red and Soft Suede Stampin' Write Markers

Accessories: Boho Blossoms punch, 3/4 inch Real Red polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Stampin' dimensionals

Double Duty Card

I'm double-dipping again with this card.
I made it for two Splitcoast Challenges, CC236 and SC246. The color combo was Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Soft Suede. I had a few choices for the Soft Suede but not so many patterned papers for Pretty in Pink. So I ran the card stock thru the Big Shot with the Backgrounds #1 Texturz small polka dot plate. I added a Pretty in Pink button from the Sherbet Designer buttons and threaded it with a tiny sliver of Soft Suede card stock. Here's my recipe:
Stamps: One of a Kind
Papers: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty, Thoroughly Modern DSP
Inks: Pretty in Pink, Soft Suede
Accessories: Sherbet Designer Buttons, 1/2 inch Soft Suede polka-dot grosgrain ribbon

Merry Mojo Monday

Merry Monday to you! I quickly made a card for this week's MojoMonday #104 here. Hopefully I can get some major stamping in this week and get going on my Christmas projects. Although, it is a little hard to get in the holiday spirit when it's 80 degrees and sunny! I used the snowmen from The More the Merrier set and the Merry Christmas from Delightful Decorations. And of course more paper from the Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers. And this card has ribbon and punches too. Here's my recipe:
Stamps: The More the Merrier, Delightful Decorations
Papers: Shimmery and Whisper White card stock, Old Olive and Real Red, Christmas Cocoa Specialty papers
Inks: Bashful Blue, Real Red and Old Olive
Accessories: Coluzzle, 1 inch, 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/8 inch and 1 3/4 inch circle punches, Scallop circle punch, 3/4 inch Real Red polka dot grosgrain ribbon, Mistletoe 1/2 inch grosgrain ribbon, silver brads, blender pens

SC245-Snow Swirled

I've got another post for today. It makes up for the last few days! I made this Christmas card for the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge #245. I dusted off my Snow Swirled set and inked up the tree in Old Olive. Then I used the small snowflake inked in Real Red and Soft Suede, stamped that a few times then punched those out with the 1/2 inch circle punch. It makes the snowflakes kinda look like ornaments. The white paper is the Shimmery White card stock. It's hard to see in the picture but gives the card a "dressed up" look.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Snow Swirled
Papers: Shimmery White card stock, Real Red, Soft Suede, Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper
Inks: Old Olive, Real Red and Soft Suede
Accessories: 1/2 inch circle punch
