Cyborg 009-1 To Be Made into a Live Action Movie!

 

 ust recently, it was announced that Shotaro Shinomori’s manga turned anime Cyborg 009-1 will be getting the live action treatment.

The original manga tells the story of Mylene Hofuman, a female cyborg that also works as a secret agent. Mylene will be portrayed by actress Mayuki Iwasa.

"009 Re: Cyborg" Slated for Japanese and UK Home Video Release

 

 While there's still no sign of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex director kenji Kamiyama's sci-fi revival 009: Re Cyborg making its way to North America, a Japanese home video release with English subtitles has been scheduled, while an English dub is in the works for the movie's UK release.

The Japanese Blu-ray is scheduled for May 22nd, with the deluxe edition going for 10290yen($110).

S.H.Figuarts Cyborg 009: Joe Shimamura Revealed!

 

 

In the colibaration of the Re:Cyborg 009 Movie, Bandai has yet again create another Anime character for S.H.Figuarts. Personally I like him being a S.H.Figuarts then a standard figma or revoltech.

 

 Joseph "Joe" Shimamura (a.k.a 009) is a human turned cyborg from Japan. He is described in all forms of media as the leader of cyborgs who chose to escape Black Ghost.

So far on the picture the only thing that proballly will include with this figure is of course some changeable hands. I'm not sure if the body of this figue to bend like S.H.Figuarts Silver Crow, but it looks goood as the way it is.

009 RE: CYBORG Watch, The Dial Code Number
