Happy Joyful Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!  I hope whatever you have planned for today that it is a happy and joyful day for you!!  We went to church and then had a lovely BBQ lunch sitting outside and enjoying the cooler weather now that Summer is coming to a close.  Later in the day I had a peek in at Splitcoaststampers and saw that this week's Featured Stamper challenge was up and I was inspired by THIS CARD with it's aqua and pink colour palette and I honestly was planning on making this a simpler card but it just morphed into what you see above!  :)

I've used a base of white and layered with Pool Party cut with A2 Divine Eloquence.  Around this I've attached a piece of white ribbon.  Next I've added layers of white cut with Labels 28 and Pool Party cut with A2 Divine Eloquence.  The cross and lily image is Joyful Lilies - a digi stamp set by Power Poppy.  I really love that it comes with the lilies on their own as well as on the cross plus two sentiments!!  I've printed this out onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured it with Copics (BG11, BG13, RV000, RV91, RV32, RV34, YG13, YG63, YG67, G99, BV13) and cut it out with Labels 28.  I've printed the sentiment from Joyful Lilies, cut it out with Small Circle Nestabilties, airbrushed it pink and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon.

Stamps - Joyful Lilies (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pool Party, White
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Labels 28, Small Circle Nestabilties and A2 Divine Eloquence, White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, X-press It Foam Tape

That's all from me today - hope you have a very happy and blessed Easter!

Pink Peonies

Hello Everyone!  Today I'm joining in the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge!  The lucky featured stamped is NancyK and I've chosen her Rose in Vase card to case and used a fair bit of liberty I guess.....but this card had a mind of it's own!  :)  I've kept the pink flower and notched tag and pink tones.  Changed the image, die cuts instead of paper and put the sentiment on the tag.

I've used a base of deep pink, layered with lighter pink and then cut a piece of Very Vanilla with the Tapestry Spellbinders Die.  I've added more vanilla die cut with A2 Bracket Borders One.  Around this I've added ivory and pink ribbons.  The peonies and sentiment are a limited DIGI release called Peonies by Power Poppy and I've cut the sentiment into a notched tag and airbrushed it with Copic RV32 and attached as shown.  The Peonies were printed onto X-press It Blending Card (it goes through an inkjet printer easily and is perfect for digi stamps!) and then coloured with Copics (see below).  I've then fussy cut it and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.  To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon.

If you want to know more about Digi Stamps, printing and using them; you should see the amazing tutorial that Julie has done over on the Power Poppy Blog!!  Everything and more that you wanted to know!

Butterfly Birthday Wishes!

Hello Everyone!  Today I've played along with the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge and the lucky FS this week is Jeannie1862.  Congratulations Jeannie!  I have chosen her Home Grown card to case - changing the orientation, omitting the bird, adding a butterfly, moving the bow and omitting the brads.  I've used different stamps and colours.

I've used a base of Pumpkin Pie and layered with white, Pool Party and Summer Breeze DP.  The scalloped border is also part of the Summer Breeze Paper Pad pack and I've just trimmed it a little to fit.  Across the join of the paper I've added a piece of orange grosgrain ribbon.  The butterfly shape was cut using the JustRite Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags SVG file and my silhouette and then stamped in Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (Y21, YR12, B01).  The frame and sentiment were stamped using Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags in Tuxedo Black, coloured with Copics (Y21, YR12) and then cut with the matching JustRite Vintage Tags Die.  I've framed it with Pool Party cut with Spellbinders Nobel Rectangles.  To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon.

FS258 Inspired by Music

Hello Everyone!!!  I had to make a Masculine birthday card for a Music Teacher and decided to use this week's Featured Stamper challenge as inspiration.  I've chosen THIS card by Holstein and have modified the layout somewhat and changed the stamps, but kept the colours and theme the same.

I've used a base of Riding Hood Red, layered with white and then another piece of white stamped with JustRite's new Shabby Music Background Stamp in Tuxedo Black.  Down this I've added a wide red ribbon topped with a knotted piece of black grosgrain.  For my feature panel, I've stamped Musical Notes Labels 20 twice, once in Rhubard Stalk, once in Tuxedo Black.  The red one has been cut out with Labels 20 Nestabilities.  The black one I've coloured the centre with Copics and cut it out, popping it up on foam tape.  Next I stamped the bird (also from Musical Notes Labels 20), coloured with Copics, cut it out and adhered to the side of the panel.  I've created the customised sentiment using the now retired 25pt font and made it into a notched tag.  I've finished by added a few black rhinestones to the top corner.

Stamps - Musical Notes Labels 20, Shabby Music Background, Times New Roman 25pt Font (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Riding Hood Red, White.
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Rhubarb Stalk
Accessories - Copics, Labels 20 Nestabilities, Red Ribbon, Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Want2Scrap Black Rhinestones, Scissors, Foam Tape.

Featured Stamper Blue Butterfly

Hello Everyone!!!  This week I was able to play in the Featured Stamper challenge at SCS!  The FS this week is Tenia Sanders-Nelson who has a lovely CAS style.  Now CAS as you know, is not really my thing, but I was inspired by THIS CARD and was also able to play with a new background stamp by JustRite!  :)  My Aussie friends will know that usually background stamps are too short for our standard C6 (6 x 4in) cards and we have to be a bit creative at times, well guess what??!!!  The new JustRite background stamps are 5 3/4in x 4 1/2in!!!  YAY, now a perfect length for our standard card size!!!  For my international friends, what does this mean for you......no more having to perfectly line up your stamp to fit - you have room to play with if you are a little bit off!!!!  Happiness all round!!!  :)

Anyway, back to the card - I've used a base of blue bazzill and layered with yellow bazzill.  Next I've stamped the Scrolled Vine Background stamp by JustRite in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured the vines with Copics (B32 and Y21 & Y35 for the oval accents) and adhered this to the yellow panel.  Next I've cut some yellow with Fancy Tags 2, run some blue ribbon through it and attached it to the card.  The sentiment is from Shabby Chic Labels Four stamp set and has also been cut out with Fancy Tags 2 and I've snipped off the decorative pieces.  I've accented it with a 0.3 Multiliner using SU's Mat Pack.  Next I've stamped the butterfly from Botanical Butterflies (also on blending card) and coloured with Copics (B01, B32, B34, YR24), cut it out and glued it to the Fancy Tags panel.  Finally I added a blue bow and a couple of yellow butterflies accented with pearls.

Stamps - Scrolled Vine Background, Shabby Chic Labels Four, Botanical Butterflies (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Blue and Yellow Bazzill
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Fancy Tags Two Shapeabilities, MS Butterfly Punch, Blue Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Scissors, Kaisercraft Bliss Pearls.

FS238 France for Lydia

Hello Everyone!!!  It's Sunday, so that means it's Featured Stamper challenge time at SCS and this week it is none other than Lydia the Community Manager herself aka UnderstandBlue!!!  Well of course I had to play along and when I saw her Happy French Flower card, well I knew it was the one to case today using the brand new set from JustRite Stampers called Bon Voyage!!  :)

I began with a base of Night of Navy, layered with white, chocolate chip (punched with the MS Iron Gate border punch) and topped with some Authentique Journey DP.  Over this I've added some seam binding and a big scrunched up bow adorned with a blue button and cream rose.  The Fleur de Lis and Eiffel Tower from Bon Voyage have been stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa onto X-press It Blending Card.  The Fleur de Lis has been lightly coloured with B91 and E41 Copic Markers.  The Eiffel Tower has been cut out with scissors (popped on foam tape) and the Fleur de Lis using the Labels 20 Nestabilities.  I've then framed these with chocolate chip cut with Fancy Tags 2 Spellbinders and white cut with Labels 20 which was then sponged with Antique Linen ink.  I finished by adding a couple of buttons to the corner.

Stamps - Bon Voyage (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, White, Night of Navy, Authentique Journey DP

Just Because....

Hello Everyone!!  It's Sunday and that means it's Featured Stamper challenge time!!  I've missed playing the FS challenge, so was happy to join in today!!  :)  This week the honour goes to Korin aka Sweet n Sassy Stamps and I found THIS fab card to case!  I've changed the image and elements and kept the over all design.

I've used a base of yellow bazzill and layered with blue bazzill, white and some MME Gertie DP.  The frame is created with blue bazzill cut with Lacey Circle Nestabilities with the middle cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities.  The inner white circle is cut with two sizes of Small Circle Nestabilities.  I actually coloured this Marci with Flower stamp the other day for a tutorial at CopicOz.  You can find the tutorial by Clicking Here!  She was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E11, E13, E15, E18, BV00, E04, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, Y21, Y35, Y38, YR24, B91, B93, B95, B97, E97, E08, E19, R81, R83, E51, E53, G24, G28, E35, E37).  The sentiment is from JustRite Stampers mini sentiment set called Just Because which I've then cut into a notched tag and then popped Marci up on foam tape over the end.  I've then added a couple of branches and three ZVA flowers to the lacey ring.  To finish I've added clear rhinestones to the corners.

Want to see one of my latest FAV things that you DON'T put on the front of your card????
It's a stamp that is customized with your name and BLOG ADDRESS!!!  How super cool....not to mention time saving!!!  It's called a My Blog, My Card Stamper and I use this on the back of ALL my cards now and anywhere that I need to use these details - class kit bags, back of old business cards, paper bags when people buy my cards.....you name it!!  You can choose what you want it to say, so if you don't want the 'handcrafted by, you don't have to have it!  :)  You can find all the template details on the JustRite Stampers website HERE!!  Okay, that's all the enabling from me today!!  :)

Apple Cider

Hello Everyone!!  Well not only is it Featured Stamper Sunday, it's that time of year again when we can all get dirty!!!  It's the Dare to Get Dirty week at Splitcoaststampers when we can join the Dirty Dozen and Alumni in a mad week of challenges with FAB prizes up for grabs......the only catch is that you HAVE to be a Fan Club member to see the challenges and play along.  If you are a Fan Club Member, you can find the challenge list HERE!  Today I was inspired by the Featured Stamper's (Amy) card - My First Round Card and Christine's Dare to Get Dirty Challenge.

A nice easy one today - I created the base with two pieces of Riding Hood Red cut with Large Circle Scallop Nestabilities and attached them at the top (no flat bits!!).  Then add a piece of white cut with Large Circle Nestabilities and some Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DP cut with Small Circle Nestabilities.  Next I added a strip of white and more Garden Variety DP and knotted some red and white grosgrain ribbon around them both.  The cider image is from Flourishes' Apple of My Eye set and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics.  It's been cut out with Small Circle Nestabilies and matted with Old Olive cut with Lacey Circle Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.

FS224 Missing You

Hello Everyone!!  It's been a loooooong time since I did the Featured Stamper challenge, so it was great to get back for one this week!  This week it's Carly (aka Paperinbloom), who has a very CAS style.  I did try to go more CAS, but I am who I am and this is how it turned out!  :)  I chose her Wishing You card, keeping the same colours and basic layout and floral theme, adding a few more layers, DP and some texture.

I actually started by stamping the Orchids by Flourishes in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and colouring with Copics (V01, V12, V04, V05, V09, C3, G82, G85, 0) then cutting it out with scissors and scalpel.  The base is made of black, Old Olive and Cottage Wall DP.  Around this I added some white crochet lace.  I couldn't find any ribbon to match my Orchids (and anyone who has seen my ribbon collection would be shocked to hear that!), so I grabbed some white satin ribbon and coloured it with a V12 Copic Marker and added it to the top of the crochet.  The next panel is made of white and a piece of black that I've embossed with the Victoria EF and then popped it up on foam tape.  Next I popped the Orchids up, also on foam tape.  Finally I stamped the sentiment and cut it out into a notched tag and secured it with a bow.

Stamps - Orchids, Tag Lines (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Black, White, Old Olive, SU Cottage Wall DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Victoria EF, White Crochet Lace, White Satin Ribbon, Scissors, Scalpel, Bow Easy, Foam Tape.

FS210 Birthday Birdhouse

It's Sunday and that means it's Featured Stamper challenge time again!  This week the honour goes to Willow01 and I was inspired by her Love ya Bunches card.  I swear in the beginning it looked more like hers, but it kind of morphed into this!  :)  Obviously I changed a bit, moved the sentiment, changed the image, added a few layers, different sentiment etc...  This also qualifies for this week's Our Creative Corner challenge to cut it out.  Now you know I love to colour with my copics and how AWESOME are these new birdhouses by JustRite to play with!!!!!

I stamped the birdhouse and border from Birdhouses twice in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (B32, B34, G21, G24, Y21, YR24, B000, E51, E53, E55).  With one, I only coloured the birdhouse, cut it out and popped it up on foam tape.  It was cut out with Large Circle Nestabilities and matted with Olive card cut with Eyelet Circle Nestabilities.  The sentiment is made from stamping the frame from Fancy Tags (one of the new CLING sets!!!) in Memento Bamboo Leaves, the sentiment from Happy Everything in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut out using the matching die, also from Happy Everything.

There's also a sale at JustRite - selected Cling sets are 25% off and there is also a RETIREMENT sale!!  Yep, some sets are retiring, never to be seen again, so if there's a set you've been dreaming of, now's the time to get it!!!

Birthday Daffodils

Hello Everyone!!!  It's Featured Stamper Challenge time again and this week the honour goes to UKGEM!  I chose her Spring Colours card to case and altered the layout a little because it was a sketch challenge, keeping the yellow and green flowers, different image and added a sentiment.

This card also fits for the CopicOz Challenge to create a Summertime themed card with a twist to use Yellow and Green Copics!!!  :)  There's an awesome prize of 12 Copic Ciao Markers to be won, so come and play with us, you have until January 24th!!!  You can find all the details HERE!!

I started with an aqua base and layered with white, green and two pieces of Thrift Shop DP.  Over the join I added some yellow satin ribbon.  The Daffodils are from JustRite's brand new set called The Greatest Joy (which also has some roses and crocuses!) and I've stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, YG11, YG13, YG17) and then cut it out with scissors and a scalpel.  I then stamped the border also from The Greatest Joy, in Memento Bamboo Leaves and cut it out with Large Oval Nestabilities and popped the Daffodils up on foam tape.  I framed this with yellow cut with Large Scallop Oval Nestabilites and then a frame of aqua cut with Label 8 Nestabilities.  I did all the cutting with my Grand Calibur.....and guess what.....you can cut them ALL AT ONCE!!!!  COOL!!!!  What a time saver!!!  :)  Then sentiment is from JustRite's new Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit - comes with 18 SENTIMENTS, a MINI BORDER, 4 TAG DIES and a clear STAMPER!!!!  I used the Birthday sentiment and the two smallest of the tag dies to cut and frame it!  Finished off by adding a yellow satin bow and a couple of small yellow pearls to the top corner.

Stamps - The Greatest Joy, Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Aqua, White, Green and Yellow Bazzill, October Afternoon Thrift Shop DP

Before I go, I've had a lot of emails, comments and messages at SCS and Facebook asking if we are being affected by the Queensland Floods.  Although we have had a lot of rain, we live south and east of the massive flooding that you have been seeing in the news.  As I write this, my parent's town of Maryborough is experiencing flooding and roads in all directions have been cut off.  Their home is up on a hill and well away from the river and they are in no danger of flooding and taking it all in their stride.  Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers - it's so nice knowing that so many of you care - from all over the world!

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting!!!!  :)

I started with some peach bazzill, layered with white, Chocolate Chip and some Kaisercraft English Rose DP.  The horizontal panel is more Chocolate Chip punched on both sides with the EK Success Dotted Wave punch and layered with white and some more English Rose DP.  The poppies are from JustRite's Plant a Little Love stamp set and have been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (R20, R22, R24, YG93, YG95, YG97, E25).  I've cut it out with Large Circle Nestabilities with my Grand Calibur (can you see how crisp that embossing is!!!!  :)  ), and matted it with more peach cut with the Lacey Circles Nestabilities and popped up on foam tape.  Next I stamped the sentiment from JustRite's All Occasions Nested Sentiments set in Memento Rich Cocoa and created a notched tag and finished with a couple of Kaisercraft Snow Pearls in the top corner.

Butterfly Wishes

Hello Everyone!!!  Today I was inspired to stamp by the Featured Stamper Challenge!  I love this challenge and the chance to view different galleries!!  I'm also entering this in the last Flutter By Wednesday challenge to use a butterfly, fairy or angel.  Today I chose MaryRose's Rudolph card, changing the colours and image, moving the ribbon bow and adding some pearls.  I had the joy of playing with the new Butterflies and Blossoms set by Flourishes!  Isn't this image DIVINE!!!  *happy sigh*.  I actually had to look up what sort of flower this was - it's a Clematis and comes in a variety of colours although the most common are shades of purple, so that's what I decided to go with today.  :)

I started with a base of green bazzill and layered with purple bazzill, white and some MME DP that I found in my stash.  Across the card I've added some white crochet lace and topped with green satin ribbon.  The image is from Butterflies and Blossoms and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card.  I've coloured it with Copic Markers - Butterfly: YR00, YR02, YR07, YR24, B000, B02; Flowers: BV00, BV02, BV04, 0, Y21, Y35, Y38, G20, G21, G24.  I cut the image out with Large Square Nestabilities and matted with purple bazzill cut with Lacey Square Nestabilities and popped it up on foam tape.  Next I added a green satin bow and topped it with a white button (actually it's kind of mother of pearl, don't know why it looks green here) and some silver cord.  To finish I added some tiny Kaisercraft Snow Pearls to the corners.

FS199 Christmas Ornament

It's Sunday, so it's time for another Featured Stamper challenge!  This week the honour goes to Kris (aka Krischer) who inspired me with her Olive and Artichoke card.  Kris likes using the Top Note die, although I don't own that particular die, I thought the Label 17 Nestabilities would work nicely!!  :)  I changed the theme and colours of the original and omitted the sentiment, adding a couple of ribbons and a bow.  :)

I started with a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with gloss gold and some Wassail DP.  Next I cut some gold using the Label 17 Nestabilites and then some more Wassail using the same die and cutting along the emboss line.  Around both these panels I attached some ivory satin ribbon and topped with some red satin ribbon.  The ornament is from Our Daily Bread's December release (available Dec 1st!) called Christmas Ornaments and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card.  Firstly I airbrushed the whole thing using the Copic Airbrush System and a Y23 Copic Marker.  I made it a little heavier on the edges, leaving it lighter in the middle.  I then coloured the image with Copics (YG91, YG93, YG95, R35, R37, R39, R89, Y23, YR23) and added some accenting with a Gold Spica Pen.  It was cut out with a pair of scissors and popped up on a gold panel cut with the Heirloom Ornaments die by Spellbinders.  To finish I added some gold cord to the top of the ornament and a red satin bow to the bottom made with a Bow Easy.

A Blessed Christmas

Hello Everyone!!  Today I had the chance to play in this week's Featured Stamper challenge at SCS - I have to admit with everything that's been going on lately, it's been a while since I had the chance to play along!!  This week the honour goes to CriminalGrace and I chose her Dancing Snowflakes card to case.  I changed the colours, moved the snowflake and sentiment and added a ribbon and rhinestones.

I started with a base of pale blue bazzill and layered with glossy silver and more pale blue (I added a little piercing to each of the corners because they looked a little bare!).  Next I cut two sizes of Label 17, one in glossy silver and the other in white.  On the white I stamped the Snowflake Background (ODBD) in Sky Blue Versacolor and then added the sentiment from the Mistletoe Tag Set (ODBD) in Tuxedo Memento Black.  Around all the layers I attached some silver satin ribbon and knotted it to one side.  The snowflake is from ODBD's Peace and Joy set and has been stamped in Versamark onto darker blue bazzill and embossed with opaque white EP and then cut out using the custom Snowflake Die!  To finish I added several clear rhinestones to the snowflake to give it a little sparkle!!  :)

As a special bonus this week - Our Daily Bread Designs are offering FREE SHIPPING (USA only)!!!  You have until November 28th to make this most of this offer!!!

Stamps - Peace and Joy, Snowflake Background, Mistletoe Tag Set (ODBD)
Paper - Blue and Pale Blue Bazzill, White, Gloss Silver

FS188 Know God

Today it's Sunday, so it's another Featured Stamper challenge over at SCS!  This week the honour goes to Die Cut Diva (aka Terri) - Congratulations Terri!  I chose to case her Thoughts and Prayers card - I did mean to keep this black and white, but it decided that it needed to have some green!!  :)  I also added a couple of layers, a punched border, a bow instead of a knot, omitted the image and moved the pearls.

I started with a base of white and layered with a piece of black punched with the MS Deco Fan punch.  The next layer is more black that I've stamped with the new Brocade Backgrounds in versamark and embossed with white EP and then added some olive ribbon across the bottom.  I then stamped the border from Brocade Borders in Memento Tuxedo Black and the sentiment from Peace in the middle.  I hand cut the border and matted it with some Old Olive and more black card and then popped it up on foam tape.  Next I made a bow using the Bow Easy and topped it with a ZVA white rose and finished by adding a few Kaisercraft Lush Pearls to the corners.

FS185 Happy Sunflowers

Hello Everyone, hope you are all having a great week-end!!  Sunday is Featured Stamper day and this week the honour goes to the super sweet Heather Prince (aka Princessheather).  Congratulations Heather, I'm so happy for you and enjoy your week in the spotlight!!!  :)  I chose her May Flowers card to case and kept to similar colours although I changed the flower image and sentiment.

I started with a base of Riding Hood Red and layered with Old Olive and two pieces of Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DSP.  Between the two pieces of DSP I've added a scallop border punched piece like Heather did, using a different punch.  Over the top is a piece of red ribbon, which I've offset compared to Heather's down the middle.  The frame is from ODBD's Flower Frame 2 set and has been stamped in Memento Bamboo Leaves and hand cut.  I've used an oval mask in the middle and sponged a little to give a little dept.  I stamped the sunflowers from Harvest Blessings in Memento Rich Cocoa on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (Y21, Y35, Y38, YR24, E35, E37, YG93, YG95, YG97).

I then cut the sunflower out using the custom Large Sunflower Die and popped them up on foam tape.  The sentiment is also from Harvest Blessings and has been cut out with an oval punch and matted with red cut with the larger oval punch.  To finish I added a red bow made with my Bow Easy and a couple of red pearls to the corners.

Stamps - Harvest Blessings, Flower Frames 2 (ODBD)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DSP
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa and Bamboo Leaves
Accessories - Copics, Large Sunflower Die, SU Scallop Border Punch, Small Oval and Large Oval Punch, Red Ribbon, Bow Easy, Scissors, Kaisercraft Red Pearls, Foam Tape.

FS184 Birthday Cupcake

Today's card is for this week's Featured Stamper Challenge as well as making a birthday card for a little girl we know who's turning 6.  The card I cased for the FS challenge is CAKath's Get Well Mom card.  I changed the colours, image, added a sentiment and moved the bling.  It's a nice, quick and easy card - I really haven't been well over the last 24hrs.

I started with a base of pink bazzill, layered with white and some Hey Birdie DSP.  The image is from CC Designs and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (Y21, YR23, YR24, R81, R83, R85, R89, G40, G82, E000, E01, 0).  It was cut out with large oval nestabilities and mounted on pink cut with label 4 nestabilities,  The sentiment is from JustRite's All Occasions Sentiment and Verse and has been cut out with Ribbon Tag Trio 2 shapeabilities and attached with pink satin ribbon.  To finish I added plenty of pink bling as well as a touch of clear Spica.

Blue Chicory

Hello Everyone!!  It's Sunday, so it's another Featured Stamper Challenge today and even better, it also fits Edna's DTGD Challenge!!  :)  This beautiful flower I've discovered is Chicory and comes in blue, purple and yellow and it's part of the soon to be released Don't Worry set by Our Daily Bread Designs!!  Today's FS is Ravengirl and I have chosen her Tissue Flowers in the Afternoon card to case.  The flowers aren't tissue, but they are blue, I've changed the BG paper and added some paper pleating, buttons, different ribbon and lace.

I started with a base of Very Vanilla and layered with Blue Bazzill and some Memory Box Frond DSP.  Across the bottom I added some Very Vanilla that I paper pleated and sponged a little Antique Linen on.  Over the top of the pleating I added some cream crochet ribbon and topped with some blue satin ribbon.  I then cut out a piece of Very Vanilla with the Label 10 Nestabilities die and sponged some Antique Linen on it before removing it from the die and then popping it up on foam tape.  The Chicory flower from Don't Worry has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (B21, B32, G40, G82) and cut out and popped up on foam tape.  To finish I added a double looped bow made with my Bow Easy to the ribbon topping with a button and then adding a few more buttons to the top corner.

Stamps - Don't Worry (ODBD)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Very Vanilla, Blue Bazzill, Memory Box Frond DSP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen
Accessories - Copics, Label 10 Nestabilities, Cream Crochet Ribbon, Blue Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Buttons, X-press It Foam Mounting Tape.
