Power Poppy Hop Day!
Hello Everyone!! Have you been following Power Poppy and the Bloom Brigade over the last few days??? If you have you'll know that there are SEVEN new clear stamp sets available RIGHT NOW!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!! Whether it's florals, cakes, sympathy, sentiments or celebrations this release has you covered!! It's time to party and you can find the Midsummer Stunner release HERE!!
It was soooo hard to choose which set to use for today's hop, but in the end I chose Tea in the Garden - don't you just *love* this cake!!! Happy Sigh! I've paired it up with a sentiment from Nice Things to Say - another set from the new release!
I've used a base of Blushing Bride and layered with Chocolate Chip and some MME DP. Across this is a piece of white punched with a border punch topped with some random spotty paper from my stash. I've stamped the cake image from Tea in the Garden in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E23, E25, E27, E50, E51, R30, R32, R35, R37, YG91, G40, G43, G46, G12. G82, Y11, N1, W0, W1, W3). This has been cut out and popped up on X-press It High Tack Foam Tape. I've then stamped the sentiment from Nice Things to Say and cut it into a notched tag and tucked it underneath the image. To finish I've added a few enamel dots to the corner.

Party Time!!!
Hello Everyone!!! It's PARTY TIME........or should I say, Day Four of the brand new Power Poppy Release and I just love today's sets!! So fun and perfect for celebrating all sorts of occasions!! I'm using Party Time today (but heads up, I'll be showing off Tea in the Garden tomorrow for Hop Day!), I very nearly swooned when I saw this fabby stack of pressies just begging to be all prettied and coloured up! :) I don't know about you, but I make LOTS of Birthday cards, so this is a *must have* set for my arsenal!! :)
I've used a base of pink and layered with white, some green checked DP and topped with white cut with a stitched rectangle die and embossed with an embossed folder. I've created an oval frame with Elegant Ovals and Large Oval dies and popped it up on foam tape. I've stamped the presents from Party Time in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (RV00, RV52, RV55, G40, G43, G46, E50, E51, E53, C1, C3) and then fussy cut and popped up on foam tape. To finish I've added a few buttons.
I realised that I didn't leave any room on the front for a sentiment, so I've decorated the inside, added a strip of matching DP, stamped the sentiment from Party Time and die cut it and glued it to the inside.
Stamps - Party Time (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, White, DP
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, Large Ovals and Victorian Tags, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Buttons, X-press It High Tack Foam Tape, Scissors, Glue
Why not Party with the Bloom Brigade and pop by and see what gorgeousness is waiting for you!!!

Soothing Sympathy
Hello Everyone!! Exciting times today as the Bloom Brigade bring you Day 1 of the brand new Power Poppy Release!! Today we bring you..... Soothing Sympathy!
We know it has been a while since the last clear stamp set release and many of you will know that Marcy - owner and illustrator of Power Poppy lost her dear mother in February. Losing a loved one is never easy and it's always hard to find the words to bring comfort to those grieving. This set has beautiful images and soothing sentiments perfect for those difficult occasions when you just want the recipient to know that you care.
There are a few images to choose from in Soothing Sympathy, but I was drawn to the butterfly. I don't know if this is the case in all countries (or even all hospitals for that matter), but when my Uncle passed away in the palliative unit two years ago, they put a picture of a butterfly on the door. It's a way of letting people know, without having to say the words. So when I saw the butterfly, that's what I wanted to use. There was also this curvy spring of flowers and I thought how nice it would be to put the two together with the sentiment underneath. It's been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (YR01, YR12, YR16, YR18, B00, B12, B14, YG61, YG63, YG67) the cut with Circle Nestabilities and matted with Marina Mist cut with Tear Drop Circles.
The rest of the card is fairly simple made with Marina Mist, white and Maja Designs DP, add some ribbon and a bow, a pretty border and finish with a few Crystal Drops in the corners.
Stamps - Soothing Sympathy (Power Poppy)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Marina Mist, Maja Designs DP
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Circle and Tear Drop Circle Nestabilities, Fiskars Border Punch, White Ribbon, Bow Easy, Neptune Crystal Drops, X-press It Clear Gel Glue
The Bloom Brigade have some beautiful cards to show you today so make sure you pop by and leave a little love!
That's all for today, make sure you pop back tomorrow to see what we have on Day 2, you're going to love it!! Thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!! :)

Rose and Prayers
Hello Everyone!! It's Power Poppy Friday and I've got a card using the brand new digi stamp that was released this week called Rose and Chamomile! This new set has the flower and sentiment I've used in my card along with another image of the rose surrounded by chamomile flowers. Want to see them all? You can find Rose and Chamomile HERE in the Power Poppy Store!!
I started by colouring the rose in my lunch break at work (I always get funny/curious looks when I colour at work!) using my Copics (G40, G82, G85, G99, E21, RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99). When I went home I've fussy cut it with a pair of scissors. The card originally was meant to be a bit simpler, but it just kept morphing with lots of layers! The base is dusty pink layered with kraft and some maja designs dp. Across is more kraft layered with Very Vanilla cut with A2 Bracket Borders One topped with some dusty pink ribbon. The main panel is dusty pink cut with A2 Divine Eloquence topped with an oval of kraft, and an oval of vanilla. I've cut an oval of pink and then cut it with Basic Lattice and adhered it to the front of the card. I've popped the Rose from Rose and Chamomile up on X-press It High Tack Foam Tape. The sentiment has been printed and cut into a notched tag and attached it as shown. To finish I've added some pearls to the corners.
Stamps - Rose and Chamomile (Power Poppy)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Dusty Pink, Kraft, Very Vanilla, Maja Designs DP
Ink - Printer
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence, A2 Bracket Borders One, Large Oval, Small Oval, Basic Lattice Dies; Dusty Pink Ribbon, Blush Pearls, Scissors, X-press It High Tack Foam Tape
