I've then glued this to the front of a piece of folded white card that I very lightly airbrushed with a little B000 Copic and finished by adding a few pearls to the top corners.

Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
Hello Everyone! Today on the Copic Oz Blog I have a tutorial colouring a snowman! For all the colouring details, you can pop over to the Copic Oz Blog or keep reading below for the card deets!
As a Mother of a young girl, I am surrounded by songs and images from the movie Frozen and even though it never snows in my part of the world, suddenly we are surrounded by snowflakes and associated snowy items! So whether it's Winter for you (like it is here in Australia), you just need a snow related theme card for an Olaf lover, or it's time to celebrate Christmas in July, hopefully this will be an inspiration to you!! :)
I've got a base of Pool Party, layered with white and layered again with white that has been stamped with JustRite Papercraft's Winter Wonderland Background Stamp in Memento Teal Zeal.
Then I've added two pieces of red gingham ribbon. I've stamped the pieces of the snowman from Applique Christmas Labels One in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (see the Copic Oz Blog for details) and then cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 28. I've matted this with Pool Party card cut with Decorative Labels 28 dies and popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape.
To finish I've added a big gingham bow and put clear rhinestones in the center of the snowflakes showing from the background stamp.
Stamps - Applique Christmas Labels One, Winter Wonderland Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pool Party, White
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Teal Zeal
Accessories - Copics, Spellbinders Labels 28 and Decorative Labels 28, Red Gingham Ribbon, Bow Easy, Clear Rhinestones, X-press It Foam Tape.
That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp!! :)

A Little About Me And Some Amazing Artists To Check Out!
I was nominated by KATE from Sparkle Tart (you can see her post HERE!) and asked to answer the following questions and share some other artists that inspire me. I usually don't do this sort of thing, but I thought why not do something a little different and share the love about some of my favourite peeps.
1. What am I working on?
For me, it's always cards, cards and more cards. Using Copics, stamps, dies and all my favourite things! :)
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I don't know how to really answer that - I guess I tend to use very clean and crisp lines and of course I love colouring, particularly florals since they are a big inspiration for me.
3. Why do I write / create what I do?
Basically I just like to create pretty things and this is a way to explore my creative side, make things and not have them fill up my house because I can give them away! Between work and children, I find taking time out to get lost colouring and creating is like a little oasis in my day.
4. How does your writing / creating process work?
Mostly, it's find an image that I like or want to colour and go from there. What colours do I want to use? What paper will match that? What layout will work with this image? Clean, Shabby or Bold? I never really know until I choose the image first and just let it flow from there.
I am supposed to share 3 artists and have them share three blog artists that they admire. Sadly I only have 2 who are able to join in with me at this time, but what amazing artists they are!!
Cindy Lawrence - The Creative Closet
Cindy is one of the most talented ladies I know who inspires me every time I visit her blog! She probably doesn't know that I have admired her for YEARS! This girl's colouring skills are out of this world! Her floral cards are incredible and I love her beautiful, clean style! I dream of traveling to the USA and one day sitting down with Cindy and creating and colouring with her. Not only is she an amazing artist, Cindy is also one of the sweetest ladies I know and I'm very blessed to call her my friend. If you want to have your socks blown off, pop on over to The Creative Closet and prepare to be amazed! :)Julie Koerber - Out to Impress
Julie has such a fabulous style and it doesn't matter whether it is traditional or digi stamping, her creations are always gorgeous! Her use of fun bold colours are so fabulous and yet she also creates the most amazing elegant cards using soft subtle colours as well. It doesn't matter what style she decides to use, she combines beautiful colouring, yummy ribbon and beautiful embellishments and she always ROCKS it!! Add to this amazing talent, that she is such a sweet person, and I'm so thankful for her friendship! Hop on over to Out to Impress and be impressed!!!Michele Kovack - Thoughts of a Cardmaking Scrapbooker
Michele does the wildest things with die cuts and using her electronic cutters such as the Cricut and the Silhouette, she constantly blows my mind away. I just love the way she thinks outside the box to create and adds a good dose of glitter for plenty of sparkly goodness!!! We have been working on the JR team together since 2009 and even did the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen together in 2013 and even after all these years, I am still amazed at her flair and creativity and I'm sure you will be too!! Pop on over to Thoughts of a Cardmaking Scrapbooker and be inspired!A big thank you to Kate who nominated me as one of her 3 inspiring people, what a great excuse to share people I think are awesome in my blogworld!
PS. Sorry, I had plans to upload photos for this post, but when I went to take them, I fell down the stairs and hurt myself. No photos today...... :(

Snowflakes
Hello Everyone! Today is the last day of the July JustRite Papercraft Release! It's been a huge release this month and I hope you've enjoyed all the inspiring projects the team have made using all these fabulous new stamps!! So what do we have for you today? I've used Snowflakes Vintage Labels Seven Stamp Set and Snowflakes Cling Stamps.
Now I know that most people would look at these sets and think of Christmas, but as the Mother of a young girl who loves the movie Frozen, I thought it would also make a really cool gift tag for a Frozen themed party. :)
I started with a base of blue card cut with Spellbinders Decorative Labels 28 and then added a piece of looped white satin ribbon over the top. Next I cut a piece of dotted DP cut with Spellbinders Labels 28 and wrapped a couple of pieces of brown bakers twine over the top. I've used the Snowflakes SVG Digital Cut File to cut the snowflake shapes with the Silhouette Cameo. While the shapes were still on the sticky mat, I've used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up and stamp the Snowflakes images so that it's perfectly aligned. One was stamped with Memento Summer Sky and the other with Desert Sand and then glued together as shown. I've stamped the frame from Snowflakes Vintage Labels Seven in white pigment ink onto light blue card and then embossed with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I've used the 'To" and "From" sentiments from the same set and stamped those in black and then cut it out with JustRite Vintage Labels Seven Dies. I've popped this up on foam tape and then finished by adding a button tied with twine and several clear rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
Stamps - Snowflakes Vintage Labels Seven, Snowflakes (JustRite)
Paper - Two shades of blue card, white, Mitten Weather DP
Ink - Memento Summer Sky, Desert Sand, Tuxedo Black
Accessories - JustRite Vintage Labels Seven, SVG Snowflakes Digital Cut File, Spellbinders Decorative Labels 28 and Labels 28, Brown Baker's Twine, Blue Button, X-press It Foam Tape, Clear Rhinestones

Stitched Sunflowers
Hello Everyone!! Today's JustRite release has more beautiful florals.....this time it's SUNFLOWERS!! Don't you just love sunflowers, such a bright happy flower and these are particularly cute because they are Stitched Sunflowers and have this lovely frame that matches the brand new Vintage Labels Eight Dies, not mention the fun sentiments that go with it! ! Now match that with the new Basket Weave Background and imagine the possibilities!! :)
I started by downloading the Box with Round Handle by Samantha Walker in the Silhouette Store and used it to cut the base out of green bazzill. The decorative panels were cut using Very Vanilla. Once the panels were cut, I've stamped them with Basket Weave Background in Memento Rich Cocoa. Next I've stamped a couple of the sunflowers, frame (two of these) and sentiment from Stitched Sunflowers in Rich Cocoa. I've cut the frames using the matching Vintage Labels Eight Dies, the larger one I've airbrushed with G82 Copic while it was still in the die, the smaller one I've cut using the smaller die and popped it up on foam tape. The sunflowers were coloured with Copics (Y21, Y26, Y35, Y38), cut and popped up on foam tape. To finish I've added a piece of hessian (aka Burlap for my American friends) to the handle.
Stamps - Stitched Sunflowers Vintage Labels Eight, Basket Weave Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Green Bazzill, Green Bazzill, Very Vanilla
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Vintage Labels Eight Dies, Silhouette Cut File, Hessian (Burlap), X-press It Foam Tape.

The Bounty of the Season
Hello Everyone!! It's a huge JustRite release this month and today the team are showcasing Fall Applique Clear Set and Stitched Vines Cling Background stamps.
I saw those three pumpkins and automatically thought about stacking them, I just couldn't fit them all on the card with this orientation - I'll have to do another card making it vertical, I think it would look cute. :)
I started with a base of Pumpkin Pie and layered with Very Vanilla and Baked Brown Sugar. Next I took a piece of X-press It Blending Card, stamped the Stitched Vines Background in Memento Tuxedo Black and then airbrushed over it with Copics (E13, YR12, Y23, YG93). Then I've coloured the vines with YG91 Copic and the dots in E08. Across this I've added a piece of Baked Brown Sugar with the edge cut with Woodland Branch Border Punch and some May Arts Mesh. Next I've stamped the sentiment from Fall Applique in Tuxedo Black onto Kraft cardstock and made it into a notched tag. I've used the SVG Fall Applique Cut File to cut the pumpkin shapes and then stamped the matching images from Fall Applique and coloured them with Copics. I've actually cut the stalk off the largest pumpkin so that the smaller one will fit on top and then glued them to the card as shown. To finish I've added a couple of chocolate pearls to the corner.
Stamps - Fall Applique, Stitched Vines Background (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, JustRite SVG Fall Applique Cut File, May Arts Mesh, MS Woodland Branch Border Punch, Chocolate Pearls.
There's more Autumn goodness waiting for you as you hop around the blogs!!

Just Typed!
Hello Everyone!! Have you been enjoying the JustRite July release so far?? Today we have a couple of fun sets all about typing! Just Typed has this fabby vintage typewriter (which looks suspiciously like some thing I had to learn to type on in grade 8) and some fun sentiments (don't you love those circle sentiments - too cool!). The other, Typewriter Sentiments, is all about matching words that you can use with the typewriter.....or without! The choice is yours!
And YES, like all the new JustRite Papercraft releases, the typewriter does have a matching SVG Just Typed Digital Cut File!!
I've started with a base of Chocolate Chip and layered with Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla. Over this I've added a piece of MME Lost and Found DP. Across this is another piece of Blushing Bride (punched with the Deco Fan Border Punch), layered with more Chocolate Chip and DP. Around all these layers I've attached a piece of ivory ribbon. I've cut the SVG Just Typed Digital Cut File using my Silhouette Cameo using X-press It Blending Card. I've then stamped the typewriter image from Just Typed in Rich Cocoa and added touches of colour using Copic W0 and R00 and popped it up on X-press It Blending Card. I've then cut small pieces of card and stamped various sentiments from Typewriter Sentiments in Tuxedo Black and sponged a little Antique Linen ink on them and glued them as shown.
Stamps - Just Typed, Typewriter Sentiments (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, MME Lost and Found DP
Ink - Memento Rich Cocoa, Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen
Accessories - JustRite SVG Just Typed Digital Cut File, Copics, Deco Fan Border Punch, Ivory Ribbon, X-press It Foam Tape.
There's lots of eye candy waiting for you in today's hop, so pop on by and leave the JR girls some love!!

Hazel and Ruby Canvas Hop
Hello Everyone!! Today the Copic Oz, Xpress It and Inspiration Lane designers have teamed up to have a fun and fabulous Blog Hop! Each of us have been given various products to create a Hazel and Ruby canvas that represents us - I don't know about you, but I know I can't wait to see what everyone has created today! Not only are there some really fun projects using some of our favourite products - the best part is that you have over ten opportunities to win!
So, what did I make??? I was sent a canvas, some Hazel and Ruby Stencil Masks and some Hazel and Ruby Washi Tape.
I found several scraps of paper and arranged them on the canvas, then added some X-press It Triple Tac to attach the paper to the canvas and then added another layer over the top.
Then I've added the Hazel and Ruby Stencil-Masks from Everyday Shapes and Brooklyn Alpha where I wanted them on the canvas. I've also added pieces of Hazel and Ruby Washi Tape at various locations on the canvas.
Then I've toned down the paper by adding some Gesso.
I've used my Copic Airbrush System and a variety of Copic Markers to add colour in both blocks of colour and over stencils for a bit of interest.
Then I've added some texture paste through a stencil.
I've continued to add more colour and airbrushing as well as a little stamping around the edges.
Then I removed my masks - don't forget these are reuseable, so make sure you put them back on the Hazel and Ruby sheet for your next project!
And then I've added some outlining and glued some buttons and a piece of coloured corrugated cardboard using X-press It Power Tac.
Then I thought the flowers could use a little extra 'something', so I've added some dots of Molotow Paint Pen around them.
I thought I was done, but then decided the flowers needed a little picket fence to peek out from behind!
So how does this express me? For a start, Blue is my favourite colour and I particularly love blue gingham. Secondly I love daisies - in fact I had them for my wedding! There are 3 flowers that represent my three beautiful kids and how I'm watching them grow, for now they are in primary school....next year my eldest is off to high school! And lastly, I'm inspired every day by flowers, colours, shapes and textures to CREATE!
Now that I've told you a little about ME......we want to know what inspires you! Leave a comment on this post and you could win an fabulous bundle of goodies like this one. Make sure you hop over to the other blogs and the Inspiration Lane Facebook page where you could win even MORE prizes, valued at over $500!!
*The hop is open from 9am AEST July 9 until 11:59PM Monday July 14, 2014. Sorry, Australian and New Zealand residents only*
I nearly forgot.....do you want to see the prizes up for grabs????

Birthday Floral
Hello Everyone!! I hope all my USA friends have had a great 4th of July long week-end and that my Aussie and Kiwi friends are staying warm during the winter! With the start of a new month, brings another JustRite Papercraft release!! To kick off the festivities, we have a gorgeous floral set called Birthday Floral Vintage Labels Eight and Nine and the matching Vintage Labels Eight Die Set!! Now I'm sure you all know how much I love florals and these are just beautiful!!!!
I had this idea to use the flowers to create a background, so I made the base out of pink bazzill and layered with black and cut the next layer out of X-press It Blending Card. I then randomly stamped the open flower and leaf images over the edges of the card in Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured with Copics (RV000, RV00, RV32, RV34, Y21, G40, G43, G46, B0000). Around these layers I've attached pink and black ribbons. The next layer is a piece of white cut using Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence, airbrushed with Copic RV32 and popped up on X-press It Foam Tape. The sentiment and frame are from Birthday Floral Vintage Labels Eight and Nine and both stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I've cut the frame with Vintage Labels Eight, coloured it with RV000 and RV32 and then popped it up on foam tape. To finish I've added a few clear rhinestones to each side of the frame for a little bling!
Stamps - Birthday Floral Vintage Labels Eight and Nine (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink Bazzill, Black
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Copic Airbrush System, JustRite Vintage Labels Eight Dies, Spellbinders A2 Divine Eloquence, Pink and Black Ribbons, Clear Rhinestones, X-press It Foam Tape.

Power Poppy Hop!
Hello Everyone!! It's the first of the month and that means it's Power Poppy Release Day!! YAY!! Have you seen all the Bloom Brigade creations over the last few days?? Roses, Geraniums and a Country Bouquet......the July release is most definitely blooming at Power Poppy! I know that you'll love them as much as we do, so what are you waiting for......the Power Poppy store is open and ready for you now!! :)
I've used the new Geraniums set for my card today! Such happy flowers don't you think? A long time ago I'd heard that geranium essential oil can help you sleep, so I bought some.......and accidentally dropped it on the tiles next to my bedroom! Even though I cleaned it up, I slept like I was out cold for a WEEK! Needless to say, I haven't done THAT again!! :)
I've started my card with a base of kraft and layered with Crisp Cantaloupe and then a piece of Remember Me DP. Down one side I've attached another piece of Remember Me DP matted with River Rock which has been punched with the Deco Fan Border Punch. Over these layers I've attached a piece of ivory ribbon. The image has been printed on X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (see below) and then cut with Spellbinders Labels 28. I've matted this with Crisp Cantaloupe cut with Decorative Labels 28 and then popped it up on X-press It Foam Tape. To finish I've added a bow to the ribbon and topped it with the sentiment from the same set.
Copic colours used - E21, G40, G43, G46, G99, R00, R11, R12, R14, W1, W3, W5, B0000
Just wait until you see all the floral goodness the Bloom Brigade have for you today!! Pop by and leave them a little love! :)
That's all from me today, thanks for visiting and hope you are inspired to stamp! :)
