Convention Swaps

One of the biggest events at any Stampin' Up! event is swapping.

The idea is that you make up a number of cards that are all the same (or maybe like me you get tired of the mass production and make up a couple of different cards) and then you swap them with other demonstrators.  Here's the pile already for packing up - 80 in total.

Its such great fun and something that my customers love - you see all the swaps I receive are then popped into my samples boxed and everyone drools over them until the next swapping event.

So here's my swap up close:

Thankfully I made all the flowers on our Easter break - when I say 'we' I mean my girlfriend Tracy, her daughter Tess and I .... it was a lot of flowers!

And here they are packaged up and ready to be put into my hand luggage.

Will be happy to swap these with all the lovely ladies at Convention, can't wait to show you all that I receive.

ps - if you have requested details of how to make these flowers, I'll have the instructions ready for you next week - if you haven't sent me an email and you want the instructions - leave me a comment xx

New Catalogue Swaps

IMG_9952If you read my OLW post of a couple of days ago you'll have read about these swaps that I made.  I've used the Just Add Cake DSP, Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Peach Parfait.

IMG_9950I've used a scoring tool to make the little pinwheel or lolly, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we see the new Stampin' Up! Scoring Tool in the Summer Mini which will be released on 1 December.

Not overly happy with these, but very happy that I finally completed the task.

Happy stampin!

Team New Mini Card Swap

IMG_4752
With the start of a new Mini comes in inevitable card swap amongst team members.  Its a great way to have a heaps of cards to show at workshops - we all have different styles and tastes - I love hosting the swaps as this means I get lots and lots of parcels to open :o)

So this is mine ... a simple design I cased from Sue Madex (who recently qualified for the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip - we are all so proud of her).

My card used the new Cottage Garden set and the matching Cottage Wall Designer Series paper.  I've used the 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches - it was a very quick and easy card to make - just as well as I had to make 16 of them :o)

Hope that you are having a great day ... we are off to Raymond Island for the Easter long weekend ... don't worry I have my crafty box all packed and ready to go ... now I wonder if hubby will notice it stacked in the boot of the car ;o)
