Bookmarks and Cards

Hi all Irena here, hope you are weekend is great. 

Today I would like to show you some cards and bookmark. 

The first card is of  surprise.

It has a small envelope, where you can add a gift tag.

And Bookmarks make great gifts,  certainly make the book more special and personal.

And my last card. Made for a young lady. Receive it with this small book - with great quotes for every day.

'My Beautiful Girl'

Today I have a sweet page to share that that I built with round elements. The pictures were taken the other evening at the nearest beach and I decided to convert them to black and white. I love working with black and white photos because they blend in so well with the coloured papers and embellishments. They match with everything!

I primed my 'Beautiful Memories' paper with gesso and a little mist using a stencil as well for added texture.

 

I cut two large circles using decorative scissors and stitched them to my paper. With a paintbrush I added gesso diluted with water to tone down the background music pattern. It could esily look very busy. I cut and embossed a smaller circle and used it as a mat for my two photos.

I made these gorgeous flowers in two sizes with the Tattered Florals die set that I love. It is just soo good for when you need some flowers to tone in with your papers.

 I made my flower clusters tying in a swirly chipboard piece and also a light blue lace ribbon rosette.
I fussy cut some pretty butterflies from a matching patterned paper 

I love the texture added by the sweet handmade blooms made with Inkido papers.

-And being the same collection they are a perfect match!

 

Here you can see I layered different mediums too.
-Diluted gesso, modeling paste through a stencil and Prima Color Bloom mist.

Hi!

Today I´m going to share my very last projects as a designer for Inkido. Tears are running down my face, I have really LOVED designing with Inkido papers and products!

So, I have made some easy made boxes this time. Inkio papers are wonderful to do altered things with. First you can see all four of them and then a close up at each and one of them.

I have really loved the time here at Inkido and I hope to see you all out there!

SWEET layout with a mix of collections

Hello

It's time  for me to share with  you  my new layout with a mix of different Inkido Collections.
For this layout , i was inspired by my photo and the colors   on this one. I've coose to work with brown and pink paint on my page to create my background. I use my paint with a lot of water so thzt the result like  sweet. I've  again applied gesso on my page.
I really love the papercraftscandinavia papers because in general they are sweet as i like and i enjoy to use them ! I hope you enjoy also my page  !

Heidi's book card

Good morning everyone! Today it's me, Heidi, blogging my card for the June challenge.

As you see of the mood board the theme for the June challenge is books. I have always loved to read, and my favorite is crime novels.

I have used a cover from an old book behind the paper - 6x6 Spring Time no. 2. And I have decorated my card with a paper heart, cheese cloth, jute fabric, lace and a lot of flowers and leaves.

Karita here today, sharing my project for Inkido June challenge.  This time my project is a bit different as before, I´ve made a  mixed media based card for this challenge.

Here you can see the beautiful mood board for June challenge. I was inspired by the middle picture of the mood board, especially the colours are very inspiring. Also I was inspired by the keys.
