Angelic and shabby - with DT Zanka
Hello Inkido fans!
This season's Christmas creations seem to be going towards shabby style for my part :)
Another card today with the pink, sage and vintage brows which I picked across different Inkido lines.
'Happy Christmas' the collection name is my favorite sentiment this year with the perfect size and beautiful font type.
Thanks for stopping by!

Meet Guest Designer Tara Orr
Hello there everyone! I am so happy to have been asked to Guest Design with Inkido this month and to have the opportunity to play with all the amazing products! Thank you so much to Papercrafts Scandinavia for extending this wonderful invitation to me & sending me a whole heap of gorgeousness to enjoy!
My name is Tara Orr and I live in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada with my gorgeous husband of 13 years and our three amazing kids who are the heart and soul of my projects.
Random Facts about Me: I have a degree in Psychology, a green belt in karate, love horseback riding (although its been way too long since I last rode), I order a vente non-fat misto (dark) from Starbucks almost every day, prefer chocolate to any other sweet – although I’ll eat any other sweet over chips/salty stuff any day, I’m the oldest of 3 siblings, gave up hope of maintaining my ‘Monica from Friends’ (as my husband would describe) cleaning habit once I had kids of my own, have earned more grey hairs and wrinkles in the past 9 years than I could have imagined and love my family more than anything else on the face of this earth!
I started scrapbooking in November 2008. Instant addiction. I love papercrafting – LOVE it. I create because it challenges me, it relaxes me and it lets me escape into a world of creativity that I adore. I love to explore different techniques and styles but I feel most natural working with a shabby chic genre with lots of distressing! If you want to take a peek at some of my work, please stop by my blog for a visit – I’d love to have you!
For my first project, I created a warm, holiday layout with the beautiful New Happy Chirstmas papers from Inkido.
There were SO many gorgeous blooms included in my package and to create a more vintage look, I decided to add a little paint and Gesso to the tips of each.
Layers and layers of pure paper heaven!! In case you've not noticed, I love lots of thick, rich layers - the more the merrier! Here I have included some painted doilies, newsprint as well as the beautiful patterned papers from Inkido. The 'Merry Christmas' peeking from behind the doily was actually created from one of Inkido's gorgeous stamps.
More layers, more paper distressing and more painted and curled edges give way to a vintage inspired layout with lots of warmth and deapth. Thank you so much for your visit today!! Please come back to see my next post coming up next week!!

A day with Arnlaug
We have a new Guest on our blog today, welcome Arnlaug!
I'm
a 31 year old "girl" from a small island at the west coast of Norway.
I'm married and we have to little girls together. I work full time as a
social worker so the days are busy. I've been scrapping since 2008 but I
would say it's the last 2 years my creativity really hit the surface.
And now I can't stop;-) I mainly make layouts but sometimes I try out
other projects aswell. I love scrapping because it's a hobby for both
memory keeping and creating art. When I scrap my mind relaxes and takes
me away from the busy everyday life.
I am a scrapper with a lot of variety and can't
say I have one particular style. But I have to say I'm having a blast
when I'm playing with mixed media:-)
I'm currently on the designteam for a great sketchblog in NORWAY, Skissedilla.
The blog is one of the big ones in Norway and we now get more and more
international contributers aswell. I am really proud to be on the team
with these great girls!
I'm also on the DT of The Color Room, that have the best colour palettes!
She made for us this lovely LO!

Christmas Giftbag!
Hi Everyone! :) Yasmin here on the blog today with a giftbag to show you. I'm moving houses and my office is a mess, but I found some of the earlier collections of Christmas paper and made a gift bag!
I've decorated the gift bag in a vintage style with lace and doily's. Also used roses and real miniature pinecones you can find on some trees in the woods. They are adorable! :) The gift bag is fairly large. It measures about 13cm x 20cm perfect for giving a way a pair of knitted socks or other types of knicknaks :)
I have used two lovely "Vintage" christmas papers from Inkido. The one with the angels is a gorgeous one sided paper, and the teal one is from the "Forever Santa" collection. Love this papers.

.:Christmas Treats:.
Hi everyone,
Today I have some treats to show you.
Faster than we know Christmas parties and family gatherings will start to pop up in our schedules.
A flower is fun to give but I really like to give my friends chocolates and other treats.
So today I have made two different types of chocolates.
The first one is a personal favorite ♥
.:After Eight:.
Chocolate covered mint...
For this box I used papers from the Christmas Collection Happy Christmas.
The next one is a more traditional "flat" chocolate.
Dark chocolate 70% with hints of mint.
All flowers, papers, stamps and laces comes from Inkido.
I love mixing the roughness with pretty trims and bling.
So this Christmas I'll switch my Christmas flowers over to chocolates.
Hope you all have a great friday and a fine long weekend!
Hugs from

Two Christmas cards
Only a month left to until Christmas and still so many cards to create! Lucky for me my work is so much more fun when I´m working with this wonderful papers! On my two cards today I will lay focus at the Santa Clause pictures.
This lovely Santa fits very nice with the grayish blue paper.
On my next card the Santa is in brown and green colors.
I like to work with 3d pads and many layers for more depth.
Hugs from Ulrika aka LillBlomman!
For my Christmas cards I used these papers:
