Easter Cupcake

Hello! Tonight I have a quick post to share this cute Easter card I made using the Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch. I was making the card from memory.....I was a bit off on a few things but think it's close enough to pass??! I Love this Stampendous Bunny Cupcake and think it makes for the cutest Easter cards. I colored it with my Copics, added some stickles to the cheeks & ears and finished it off with some Glossy Accent on his nose. Hippity Happity Hoppity

Hello! It's time for this weeks new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. The possibilities are endless with this one! I went with Easter Eggs. I had found these egg stickers at Hobby Lobby in their big 75% off mark downs recently and was itching to use them on something. My tag is from my friend Stacy, she always shares some of the pretty tags she makes with me. Thanks Stacy!! The sentiment was another 75% buy, can't remember who it's from and I'm not home at the moment to check. I went a little crazy with the rhinestones but overall I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. Sweet Carrot

Hello! It's new sketch time at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I used an adorable Sami Stamps digital image called Sweet Carrot Bunny for my card today. The hardest part of this card for me was finding coordinating scraps of DP to use! I have to say I love how this card turned out and it's flat and easy for mailing which is VERY unusual for me! Hippity Hoppity

Hello! I'm getting a jump start on my Easter cards today. Only stamping is the sentiment. I just love this little bunny die from Papertrey Ink, it makes the cutest cards! I added it to a stitched circle die cut, my favorite way to add stitching on a card. I'd never be able to sew a straight with a real machine! Ha! Now I think I may need to add to my collection with some stitched cloud dies?! Would have been cute on this card for sure. Anyway thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! Egg-cellent

Hello! Todays card is all about the die cutting, the only stamping is the sentiment. I used my Stampin Up Tulip embossing folder as my base. The grass is a Sweet 'n Sassy die, the hill is a no name die off Amazon, the bunnies are Impression Obsession, the eggs are an old sizzix die ( I never get rid of anything it seems!!) and the little flowers are a punch. I find I really enjoy making these kinds of cards, playing with my dies! Hope you enjoy it too. Bertie Bunny

Hello! The other week I was invited to pick a image an be a Guest Designer for Digital Delights! Of course I said yes!! I choose the Adorable Bertie Bunny for my card, isn't she just the cutest??! I colored her with my copics, added some stickles to the flower, and some glossy accents to her nose. The pretty papers are from an older DCVW Spring 6x6 pad that I picked up at Jo Ann's I believe? So wish I would have gotten more than 1! Added lots of little extra embellishments on this card but I think it turned out cute! Thanks so much to Digital Delights for inviting me to join them today.

Spring has Sprung!

Hello! It's Tuesday so its time for another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. My card today uses a couple of cute duck digi's I bought back in December from Doodle Pantry before they closed. I couldn't pass up their 75% off going out of business sale. Sure will miss their cute stuff though. Not sure I like my card?  I picked my paper based on the sketch photo.......but thinking that paper might have been better paired with a large sentiment image instead?! Oh well it is what it is. Flower bird

Hello! Today I have a bright an cheerful card to share with you. This little Flower bird from Bugaboo Stamps is a lot of fun to color. I went with a more Spring/Easter look for this one but have started coloring another with the bird done in blue. Maybe for a birthday card sometime?!! I wish I would have went with plain circle brads instead of the flower ones. I think its a bit to flowery but I already had it glued in place an it was to late to change them. Favorite Peep

Hello! My husband and I went out to dinner the other night and Hobby Lobby just happened to be across the street. I was able to talk him into going over! I usually save those trips for when I'm by myself so I don't have to rush! ;-)  This adorable little chick stamp just had to come home with me, isn't he cute??! I paper pieced the shell and paired him with this weeks Freshly Made Sketch. Although mine are never as CAS as theirs. I did end up putting the sentiment on a banner. I just didn't have a small one that worked for under the bottom panel, my Easter sentiments are very limited! Guess that means I can shop right?!! Bunny and Chick

Hello!! Today's card uses this most adorable Bunny and Chick from Whipper Snapper Stamps. I once again used the yummy plaid paper from Lawn Fawn. I intended this to be an Easter card but I think it would also make a cute Baby card too?? I colored up a couple of these images while I was at it so I'm pretty sure one of them will end up being made into a baby card! I found the flowers at AC Moore's for $1 a pk. These are from 2 different styles/packs, going to have to be sure to get back there an get some more before they are gone. Well that's all for now be sure to check back tomorrow! Hello! Been awhile since I posted to my blog but I just had to play along with this sketch challenge that I saw on my friend Stacy's blog! It's for the Two Paper Diva's sketch challenge. I have to say that sketch challenges have always been one of my favorite to do but that curved edge threw me for a bit! Thanks Stacy for the idea to use a Grand die. I only have this one set but I do like how it turned out. Found the idea for the bunny made from punches off pinterest. If I have time tomorrow maybe i'll have another go at this sketch?? I flipped the sketch this week so that I could use this adorable little bunny that I have had colored and on my desk for ages! I colored the images with my copics but used my chalks and aqua painter to do the sky and grass around my image. I think this card would make a cute baby girl card or maybe even a 1st birthday?!!
