HINDRAF : My satu kupang.
Two things I would like to share in this very short entry of mine. Nope, I did not have the brain capacity to think about all these, I just read it somewhere. Here it goes ...
IF the government is right and they are not practicing ethnic cleansing, why is it, the BUMIPUTERA's get a 5% discount when buying homes ? If the Government was intent on eradicating poverty shouldn't the 5% apply to all those citizens earning less than, let's say RM 2,000 a month. Why base it solely on RACE ?
The second issue I would like to highlight is the quota system practiced when allocating university seats. It doesn't matter if 6% of Indians made it to the university despite only having a population of 8%. It makes no sense comparing it that way. Samy Vellu, get your head checked! What matters it why can't we have a level playing field ? A field that sees no race, allows equal opportunity and not taking into account if you're a STPM or matriculation student ?
Does the Government actually think we are still stupid enough to read NST and believe all those recent surveys ? Still think the Malays can't play the game right ? The Malays have improved and I believe they are on par with the rest. Do away with the quota system and see a different Malaysia in the near future.
By not allowing the NON-BUMI's to get a place in local universities, the Government is forcing families to spend all their savings sending their kids overseas thus making them poor in the long run. It's a vicious cycle - not allowing the community to grow because the emphasis on education is much much more important.

End of the year - note
It is true, I've neglected this blog for a long time and my conscience is taking it's toll. Do I have interesting things to say ? Obviously. I lead a very cool and adventurous life. Done many things and I wish to share them but alas time does not permit to do so.
Stumbled upon a blog. A very interesting blog written by my native Sri Lankan born lady, stayed in Malaysia and decided to run away to escape ethnic cleansing. In the meantime, she managed to screw us (read:government) and in the mean time generated some publicity from MITI Queen branding her an atrocious LIAR. Well, we Malaysians are good at it.,especially the Government. Oops, you did not read anything malicious. It's just crazy me rambling.
Will be back with more postings and pictures. Yeash yeash, I say that ALL the time. LOL

Happy 3rd Anniversary
I never realised this blog would be around that long. What started as a place to rant and share my feelings,my thoughts has become much more. I've met new friends, spread information, videos, cool images and once in a while it feels nice to look back and see how somethings have not changed (i.e me being single and still whining).
No special dedication. No shoutouts. Just a single hope that I would be able to continue this blog and maybe host it on my own domain. Just got to take it one step at a time. Posts have been flowing for the past 2 days because
Just wish that the coming days will be as good as the last 22 years of life has been. God bless.
Peace to the world

Selamat Hari Merdeka
Merdeka this year not that exiting, same as previous years. Knowing our government, we are always full of uuuaaaaa's. Give us another 2 months and all will be forgotten. After that, newspapers will have
- pics of torn flags
- inquiry into the clashes that happened few days after merdeka (since it was still merdeka month, so all quiet quiet)
- inquiry into the spending/budget for merdeka celebration
- complains from tourist saying it was badly organised.
- last but not least, the elections.

Wonderboy takes a personal break
It's been sometime since I've actually posted personal stuffs here. Just never had the time to sit, think and 'pour' out my feelings. It is all in the head and time is all I need. I'll have plenty of those after my last paper on Saturday. I've got few things lined up. I call it 'mini projects' to be completed before I start work.
1. Publish a list of top 10 MMU Indian girls
2. Lyrics to my song title " The way I see it"
3. Create Friendster Girl of the Week contest - just for f***s sake.
4. Reveal more personal thoughts because I won't be in MMU anymore (hopefully) and won't be bounded by the narrow minds that rule certain people's life.
5. If I have enough money and time, set up my own dot com
6. Part II of the Antivirus and much much more.
p/s:
Tulipspeaks - Yes, a lay
Puvanan - Kaspersky is good too. I'm not to sure if it's free.

Akrit Jaswal - the world's smartest boy/person
Just a little bit about Akrit Jaswal...He is 12 years old. Currently trying to finish up multiple degrees. Performed a surgery on a 8 year old girl when he was 7. Has mastered 4 languages and has plans to cure cancer and AIDS.
Father left the family because he could not persuade the Indian government to recognize his son's talent. Appeared on the Oprah Show. He is just brilliant. Believed to be smarter than Einstein.
Oh yeah, he talks like a grandpa. Smart ass. Show off !!
What would you do if you were him ?
As for me, I'll act stupid and ace my exams all the way. Chill out. Enjoy life. Pick up everything such as languages, codings, and general knowledge. Join some game shows, win millions and live a luxurious life. During my campus days, I'll be doing everyones' assignment, with a certain fee imposed.
By 25, I'll be a millionare or billionare. Invest in Google. Screw up Microsoft's profit and be the next richest man in the world. On the way, I'll just mess with the economy. Pull out my private listed companies in KLSE and create a gaping hole.
While enjoying my lavish life, I die in a plane crash.
Be remembered.
Be a LEGEND.

Miss Malaysia/World 2007
Lend your support by clicking here. I think she looks sweet and hopefully when it comes to the Q n A session, she doesn't screw up.'LOST' to end in 2010
I'm an avid follower of the series Lost and recent rumours had it that the series would wrap up by the end of 2010. It has been confirmed by the ABC that Lost will end after 3 seasons (16 episodes each ). I should be feeling sad but after so long, nothing much has been revealed and I believe it's about time. My favourite character has to be Sawyer.

Interview with Dr.Burn (Vallavan)
Att : Malaysian Indian Bloggers
If your Indian and you're a blogger, do try to make it for a simple & small gathering organized by Praveen and her friend Amutha. I'm a beginner and I'll try to make it because I feel that it is time that the minority of us that roam the internet ( read : indian bloggers) need to find that sense of belonging and voice out our humble opinions to all the other tech savy Malaysians. Furthermore it is certainly much cheaper over the internet compared to THE SUNDAY STAR ( RM1.50 - are you kidding me ? )
I think we are being called the Indian Bloggers Unite (IBU)......

The end of the road - DEATH
The tragic accident which claimed the lives of 3 young girls was brought to my attention by a friend, who studied in the same secondary school with them. At first, I thought it was a prank. Dying on your birthday ? Way to cool and certainly a good gimmick to get the attention.
Wrong.
As the news spread like wild fire, I busy googling hoping something would pop up. Indeed, the news were true. A Wira Aeroback had turned turtle on the Federal Highway. 3 girls died on the spot and the guy (driver) was admitted into the ICU.
It was weird reading the comments on Resh's profile. Birthday wishes turned into condolences. The guy's who kept the the account open, was subjected to ridicule and malicious messages. I think it's really important that the account was kept open, thus allowing friends from afar to share their thoughts and experiences with the rest.
Then comes along rumour mongers stating that the accident happened because the guy (driver) was drunk and another stating that he was trying to sms someone while driving. No one was present at the time of the accident, so can someone please explain HOW THE FUCK these stories come about ?
End of the day, the accident did happen and all those affected by it should be left alone for a few days to overcome their grief and gain their footings. Yet recently as soon as the guy regained his conscience, the Malay Mail or NST was already knocking on his ICU door. Pure rubbish. I bet even the police has more sense before conducting an inquiry. Maybe.
All I have to say is :
1. It sucks to die on your birthday. It sucks even more when you're young.
2. It mega-sucks when you're the only one ALIVE.
Personal Opinion :
If I was the driver and I was alive, I'll kill myself. I'll wake up and remove my life support system. Living with guilt is not worth it. I wish I died with them. My father always says this "Son, even if the car is a goner and you're dead, I'm not bothered. I've got your sister as backup. I just don't want other parents to be barking at me."
Just kidding.
My father though says that " You are always responsible for your passengers and you must be answerable if anything goes wrong."

Seeing is believing
Spiderman 3
For me, Spiderman 3 failed to deliver. Enough said.
p/s : Venom was cool.

The gang (10 of us, the buddies) decided to catch Spiderman 3 in MidValley. Attempts to get tickets in Summit days earlier failed,MV was our last choice. 4th row from the front certainly was not that bad. Just sore neck.
After the movie, the gang headed to Devi's to catch Liverpool vs. Chelsea. A deserved victory for Liverpool. They played their hearts out and hopefully tonight Manchester United would be meeting them in Athens.
p/s :Mourinho certainly does not how to accept defeats.
