KLPAC - Photos

As mentioned in my previous post, they had actually created KLPAC by giving it the old 50's - 60's look. Nice stuff. The only modern looking architecture - their toilet.

Just before entering Pentas 1, I came across their wall of fame. I noticed something else too. Let's see if you can find what I noticed ? I've captured some of the names which I recognized.

Allan & Indi - Comedy Court

Last night, I managed to catch Allan & Indi performing in KLPAC, Sentul Park. Thinking that traffic would be bad , Dad and I left home at 7 for a 8.30pm show. We were hoping everyone would be busy doing what we do best, 'makan' @ 'buka puasa' and roads would be empty at that particular time. How right were we !


We reached Sentul Park at about 7.20 and we dropped by Madras Restaurant which was pretty much near to Sentul Park. According to my dad, this place used to house the government quarters as well as the Railway station. I've got a few more pics that I'll upload tomorrow.

The old station/workshop which has been converted in a 'blue' building. Sentul West Park is indeed 'chun'. They have managed to establish/ create a balance between the current & past architecture . There were few more building which I would have loved to capture but with my dad by myside, I didn't want him make fun of me. He's already telling my relatives about my sister's amazing talent - self taken photos and he makes fun of it. I do not wish to take the shine of my sister.

The above is KLPAC - awesome architecture and simple. Consist of 2 floors which includes 2 stages and 3-5 studios. The only drawback ? The building only has 1 gents and 1 ladies at the ground floor. Damm. If you had to run from Pentas 1 (2nd flr) to the ground floor, do your business and run back up, you would have lost 4 minutes of your life pissing.

The show was to start at 830 but I think Allan & Indi was not happy with the turn out so they let us stare at the above funny wordings for 20 minutes. Their first act - 3 songs (spoofs) rendered followed by their second act (the first of a 3 part interview - showing clips from previous shows) This is after all Allan and Indi's 10th Anniver'sorry' ( Anniversary) show. Their 3rd act was Loga and Siva - the famous drunk lawyers created by them.

The show took a 15 minute break before resuming the 2nd interview segment. Their next performance was the best of all - Mathilda and Thevi - 2 typical Indian lady friends. One word to sum it up- HAVOC ! It was also the longest act.

If you're an Indian - you will certainly enjoy it.
If you're a Chinese - you will still enjoy it.
If you're a Malay - ........

Sure ENJOY one !

Remember to take a pinch of salt and leave your sense of patriotism at home. Go for the show and laugh. Don't come back home and start a blog entry on how NOT sensative they were or how they should be thrown in a jail under the ISA act. Just sit, relax and just freaking enjoy it.

Today's my presentation at the lab. Can't sleep, stomach churning & mind boggling issues to be settled. Parents should be coming. I hope Mr.Lingga from MRSB comes as well. It's going to be hell of a ride and I'm the driver. Buckle up your seat and prepare yourselves.

I think I need to sleep. 40 winks should do I suppose.

father day
it appears i have made a mistake in identifying which sunday was father's day.Last sunday ( 12.6.05) i assumed it was father's day and bought my dad a cd player for his car (rm350 - Rm 200 from me and the balance from mom and sis).The shop i wanted to buy the player from was closed.Bloddy hell !! My mistake since i didn't make an early inquiry.Then ran like a mad fellow from one shop to another just trying to find the best deal.In the end i bought it from a nearby audio shop.The fellow took 30 mins to fix the damm audio player.Meanwhile dad started calling and inquiring about my whereabouts.Luckyly tak kantoi !! **wink**wink**

Glazer has taken control and i still think that good things are to come.sometimes not are bad things are bad. For example fire is bad if used in the wrong way but when ur could fire would be ur only way to warm up.Ronaldo's gonna sign a new deal and most probably Park will be coming too.Hopes he makes a impact unlike Miller.May the force be with MU next season.

came back on sunday afternoon bout 4.30 and unpacked my stuff.started cleaning the house at about 5.30.all of use cleaned our room.chiva cleaned his room.shirted the bed and the cupboard.khugan cleaned his room all by himself.we had few people sneezing non stop due to 2 months of collected dust.after that we moved on to the hall which took us almost an hour (shifting all the furnitures from one corner to the other),My housemates proved me wrong.Their parents may have never made them do housework at home but when the time and need comes, they are full of willingness to learn and to finish up the task.**applause for my housemates**

blood donation
today we went to fcm and donated blood.it's currently a housemate activity kind of thingy,5 of us and we all donated at the same time.Cool leh...AFter donating they gave us 2 certificates and free makan. **smiling** free food summore.yeah baby..yeah !!

batman begins
won 2 tickets for batman begins.went with dad.premier started at 9.30.we were in by 9.they had body checks and we had to deposite our phone.the movie isn't that great.all talk and few minutes of action.the car was meant to be the action.batman practically tries to destroy the whole city witht the car or rather tanker !!the villain was rather normal considering the fact that joker and penguin had more colour to their character.

had it.felt it.lost it - all because i could not except failure and rejection.a big mistake ? i don't know.makes me feel better now ? i don't know. i believe everything happens for a reason and the path is already laid.

Where do i start....umm..let me start from my previous mysteriously missin post (PC fair)

- when to pc fair on Sat by bas to serdang then followed by commuter to Putra ( Rm4.70 - cheap). When shopping around for printer , dvdrom and cdrw for my fren (raja). Selected the shop and started q-ing up at the ATM in PWTC. The line was freaking long. Got the money and bought the stuff.Decided to go to midvalley to watch Mayavi at 5.15. left Pwtc and moved towards MVM with commuter and reached at 5.15.Shits.Ran all de way to south mall ..or is it north.....no idea !! Reached there onli to find out the linea was reaching McD. Fuck !! Had our lunch/tea/dinner (nasi ayam - Rm4.50 -cheap) and all the while we were doing the shoppin and running to MVM it was raining cats and dogs. The things we carried were not light either. Came back and fixed everything and watched Robots.Not so funny like ice age or even shark tale. Entertaining ? Maybe..i had my share of fun too.

- Today's news was EARTHQUAKE. I was not on hand to experience Cyberia shaking but when I came back from my fren's short film contest, many of the occupants of cyberia were seen loitering around. Many were busy getting their cars out of the garage/car park. Many were seeing heading towards Hassan and Dengkil mamak. Never have I seen such large gathering or never had I seen such parade of whores and towel-gurls. Nah ...kidding..all were dressed well and smelled sweet despite the earthquake. Many had found time to dress up, put sum perfume and look good !! Humans - they never fail to impress. By the time I was back from dengkil , the crowd had subsided and all went back home happily ever after. As usual, as soon as i switched the monitor on, yahoo messages swamped me. Nowdays' I'm well informed thanks to the internet and messaging services.

Time to sleep. Too tired. Tomorrow library again. Life is just about studies for the next 3 weeks. God bless !!

Grand finale to ICS nite

At last...at last everthing is over.The dances are over, the singing is over and so it the show. After days of practising and indulging in unwanted practises and rituals, I'm free. Wait ! Did i say free..wtf is wrong with me ? Exams are coming soon and my preparations are all screwed.God bless me.

On sat , the gurls did their hair in Sri Kembangan. Everyone looked good especially Reena. She looked really good. After that we rushed to PJ Civic Center and had small rehearsal. Went around PJ looking for a temporary die (blue). I had a terribble experience.Watson's and Guardin did not allow me to enter or exit. The alarm kept ringing. Dumb machines. The ladies at the shop kept glancing over thinking i might be robbing them. Dumb ladies. Even if i wanted to rob them, would i be standing around trying to get caught ? Dumb and dumber !!

The show started too early for my liking. The VIP showed up late that shows had to pushed forward in order to accomadate for the time. At last the VIP showed up, we did the INTRO and got a standing ovation. Nah..kiddin...just some normal claps from the crowd. I was feeling jittery and when my turn came, i just performed.How well ? U just got to ask the audience. My scarf fell when i was dancing. Shit happens. For En Aasai Maithiliye, overall it was spirited performance. Wished i could have sang. That would have made my day.

Parents called me back home.Could not talk ..could not mingle with frens from melaka or check out any other chick.Damm la..Made a long face back home..Den i realised. My parents missed me. I was so selfish that i refused to talk to my dad at home. Monday morning when balik oni mintak maaf. Dad was kind enough to forgive. I always make decisions which i regret later on (especially with my parents)

Busy week ahead !! aarrgghh....

ICS NITE
- dances are getting better..more cekap steps...i'm gonna be de star...ceawaahhh..no la..just dancing 3 dances only..only and yeah i forgot...the intro too....**wink*wink**
- gonna have rehearsal on TUESDAY..who the heck has rehearsals on a weekday...people got assignments...got classes...got exams....got to sleep ( this is my part)
- must buy new kurta summore...money..money..money...where to go find ? In a way it's good also since i don't have a black kurta

FOOTBALL
- Salsa FC beat Vasco Da Ga Ma ( 2-0) today in Main Field.We are at the top of the league currently with the last match scheduled next week. The official site http://geocities.yahoo.com/icsleague2005
- Got selected for FOE as their keeper (looks like it's gonna be my permanent job) for inter-faculty games. The games are next week.

- having 2 programs on this SAT and SUN. Can only attend the SAT one coz i'll be busy on SUN.
- t-shirt cozed me RM 18. Good quality it seems..My ass !!! What to do..join already..cannot back out..God bless this people !!

I'm so freaking tired my mind was to shutdown and my body wants a massage. Need to sleep early since i'll be having ITC program tomorrow.

Its a Friday...I'm in Cyber

Well..loads of headache.Trying to finish up ma Flash presentation.Wan was very helpful.Never complained about anthing.Last sem results sucked big time.Feel sick talking to people who steals other people's things yet have the guts to feel normal among others.World is Full of weird people.Gonna sleep.More headache tomorrow.Love is not to be searched cuz when the time is right Love comes searching for U !!
