Our Meals at Bangjangsan Campsite

We went camping in Bangjangsan Recreation Forest and here's what we had at the camp site.

We usually order chicken at home and bring it at the camp site and have it for lunch. So here's our lunch. Some chicken, eggs, hot pepper and kimchi.



We arrived at the camp site at late noon so we had lunch late. But before it gets dark, we decided to have dinner. And because we aren't hungry, we just had eggs, fruits and yoghurt. Our left over from our lunch and dessert.



I remember that I forgot to wash the dishes at home when we went camping in Hwemunsan Recreation Forest. At that time, I also forgot to bring dishwashing liquid. So, here I washed them at the camp site.



We don't usually have breakfast at home because we always sleep and get up late but at the camp, we have to sleep early and get up early. We are so hungry after getting up unlike when we're at home we always have midnight snacks but in the camp we can't because we are asleep at midnight. But it's still hard to have rice for breakfast so we just had bread and coffee.

Yummy Chicken at the campsite

Again, we went camping on our vacation and we had chicken for dinner. We went to Waryong Natural Recreation Forest in Jangsu. It's too complicated to cook when it's dark so chicken is what we've thought. Is there more delicious than chicken? I know samgyopsal is what many campers bring like what we usually did but this time, we decided not to bring samgyopsal. So we decided to drive about 30 minutes from our campsite to downtown and bought this BHC chicken.



We brought it at the camp site and had it in the tent. Isn't more delicious eating chicken inside the tent? Hmmm...yummy!

Simple cooking and preparing food on a camp

Hubby told me not to prepare and bring many things. He said it's very complicated to carry lots of things specially side dishes. So like we did before we also planned to have chicken for lunch. But we had a hard time finding chicken restaurant in the rural area specially on the way to the Recreation forest. We found some but those are chicken and pizza house and hubby doesn't like them because chicken is not delicious in the pizza house. We are looking for a franchise chicken restaurant. We changed the route and went to the downtown area and there we found one. The Ttore Ore chicken.


We were hungry so before we set up the tent, we had lunch first. Here's what we had for lunch. Chicken and kimbap.


For dinner, we just boiled some water inside the tent because it was too cold outside and we ate kimbap again and "wang ttukong" cup noodles. The day has gone with this very simple cooking and preparing time. hehehe...

Stir-Fry Pork with Kimchi on a camp

My hubby said he wanted to eat daejigogi kimchibokkum so I made some for lunch the day before we went camping. He said it was delicious so he told me to make more and bring some for our camp. So the night before we left, I cooked some kimchi bokkum and brought some. Although we ordered chicken for our lunch, my hubby said the kimchi bokkum was more delicious. We ate it for our dinner. I was so happy because I saw my hubby ate much on the food that I prepared.

Chicken on a camp

My hubby said he doesn't feel like eating samgyopsal when we went on a camp last Sunday. Although samgyopsal is delicious in a camp but he said it's a little bit complicated to cook so he said we had to make it a simple one. We ordered chicken on our way to the recreation forest. The chicken wasn't delicious but eating outside specially in a campsite made everything delicious.

We arrived at the campsite in the afternoon and hubby said he was very hungry so we had lunch first before we set up the tent. It was a great idea that we ordered chicken instead of samgyopsal or else we had to cook first after our long trip.

Best food for the camp

We bought a tent 3 weeks ago and went camping the next weekend. Because it was too hot to stay in a tent in the afternoon, so our plan was to go camping again next month. But last Saturday, without any preparation, we went camping again. It was holiday last Friday because of Liberation day so we stayed home all day long that's why we decided to go out the next day although it rained but enjoyed the camp.

When we first went camping we saw that most campers had noodles for lunch and yes it's true that noodles is more delicious on a picnic or camp. And here we are, we prepared 2 packs of noodles for lunch. Doesn't it look delicious?



And as usual, we had pork barbecue (samgyopsal) for dinner. Yummy! Samgyopsal is my favorite and it is the food that most people bring when they go on a picnic or camping. It's also an alcohol's friend. Think of an alcohol and samgyopsal will also come to your mind. Cheers!

Samgyopsal on camp

We went on a camp last weekend and here's what we had during our stay at the camp site. I was cooking rice when the crowd came. They were very noisy so hubby told me to move to another place which is a little bit far from the noisy people who were having a barbecue party just near our tent.



After building the tent, I prepared samgyopsal for dinner. Here's the delicious samgyopsal that we shared for dinner. Help yourself! It's too complicated to bring some vegetables so we only ate it with kimchi and salt with black pepper and sesame oil. Help yourself everyone!
