Be nice??

My emotional kinda down nowadays. May be due to 'aunty visitation'... i was quiet all the time. Talk only when is necessary. All these happen in the office.

The space or rather relationship that i had w my colleagues becoming a big gap. I felt left out & out of place when ever i'm with ONLY both of them. They seems to have many things in common. Too many that i felt left out cos, none of the topic that i can understand or click. They only talk to each other the whole time. That makes me as if i just 'tumpang' sitting in a same table. Not just personal lunch time. In work place, they seems very united in work, criticizing others & etc...

I don't want to be like them & always disagree with the way & actions. It is totally not God's way. No grace apply. When i do apply grace, they said, i'm too nice...easily get con or take for granted. I really don't care what they gotta say cos, I'm doing something Jesus did when he was in his preaching ministry. Besides, i'm happy to be nice to people.

Just because the light can't mix with the darkness, i often or rather almost everyday, i brought my own lunch. I don't care if im being condemn of being an anti social. I only join if there's more than them. Very funny...they seems unhappy about me bringin lunch... *hmm* want me to join u all lunch but.....

I didn't do anything harmful. I just being myself who is fun to be with, yet people don't talk & relate to me. I know the advice is still, BE NICE NO MATTER WHAT.. yea...be nice.

How? friends???...it is so hard cos i'm facing them everyday!!

well like you said you are being like Jesus ;) and Jesus had to sit infront of Judas every day knowing that he would betray him one day. If be like Jesus be like him all da way hehe...

you try n click hehe... get interessted, "disagree without being disagreeable" remember that term?:).

No need to be like them in negative terms ^^.. you know I remember last year when I was reading the word.. I noticed Paul stooped down to the peoples level to save souls.. dunno if you read it.. it was in greece I think.. where he talked about "to the Uknown God" which he mentioned is God...

Any howz =) your a good person! nice person heh... ;) maybe some times we need to be proactive and talk to others.. but don't be desperate haha!

any hwoz, whatever the decision you make, Jesus still loves ya very much sis...

thanks Chris..

sometimes the situation is very discouraging..saying is easy, being nice is easy..but the in return we get what we don deserve wich is, being cast aside.

Anyways, as long as i do my job Col 3:23-24...think God will promote me & bless me

at least that is better then beening mocked and given names?

sometimes i wonder if thats got anything to do with the limited topics we talk with our non-believing collegues.

the way they see the world and the way we see ours is just different i'd guess; really depends on wat they focus on.

having said that, i still have lunch with them and do share about christ (whenever the topic is right)regardless of the mockery; yup i did blew it several times when they(not all) start giving me names, its like high school all over again(trust me its no fun) :(.

for me, i think its good to know what is going on around in your department; leaving that earphones aside does help.

Do join in when the topic is right and keep quiet when you disagree or you'll become center of topic; you'll never know what type of image others will form on you after the gossips... behind ur back.

-> ignorance is bliss; think too much and headache everyday.

i found newspaper and articles to be good ways to start topics; at least there is something to talk about to know your collegues better; you can start from there to click gua.

me not a talking person so my experience might not be revelant to you. but then

C H E E R U P!

tat smile on your face will really help brighten their day :)

Hi Flo, one thing to remember...Emmanuel "God with us". You're not alone! Even if you have lunch alone, Jesus stands beside you. Seriously, it does not matter what people think about us. You do what you know is right. Take the stand! They'll see the difference in you. Do try to talk to them though. It's good to develop some relationship with coleagues. Jesus loves you! *Cheers*

The truth is, there will be ppl like that everywhere... can't run away or avoid them forever...

Just remember the story about coffee... it is either you change to influence the ppl around you, or you get changed by the ppl around you...

You can't please everyone, so just do your best. After all that you have done, and they still like that, then, do like I do: What the heck... who cares...

i love you all so much!!

*emo*... THANK YOU FOR UR ENCOURAGEMENT ADVICES.

Nobody: Ur a bold person i'd say.. knowing that you'll b call church freak, u still share Christ w/ them. As for me here, try not to boast about any religion. Christ is not a religion that's for sure..so i apply grace.

anonymous: agree with u...build good relationship.. *smiles*

john: WHAT THE HECK?! yea..i like that...hahahahhahaaaa!!

I learn 1 thing thru the weekend. Sow sparingly, reap sparingly..if i sow in doin good to ppl, i know i'll reap it in return & Gal 6:9
