I decided to go with kraft and color with copics. I have seen this done quite a bit lately. When I think one layer, I automatically think...clean and simple(CAS). As I have said before, CAS cards are the bikini of cards. There is nowhere to hide...lol!!!
This card is also for the Devine Design Monthly Bible Verse Challenge(BVC09). I am using ODBD Sing to the Lord set. I love this bird on the branch with the flowers. The scriptures that come in this set are so wonderful and uplifting, too!!!
After getting all the images stamped and colored. I wanted to add a bow. I decided on this wide gingham ribbon. I punched two slot punch in the top right side, threaded my ribbon and added a jumbo hibiscus punch button sent to me by Silke(sparklegirl). Thanks, girl!!! You rock!!! I am loving all the buttons!!! I added a few assorted color buttons in the bottom left corner for balance. I just love this big bow!!!!
