C4C- Snow Much Fun!

Happy Saturday, everyone!  It is time for another challenge with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C165).

Frances is the host for this challenge!
This week's challenge
is all about...
Snowman what's  new?
Make a creation that features
a snowman!

It occurred to me when I started to make this card that I somehow manage to currently own only two snowmen stamps.  Seriously?  For this card I am using   Flourishes Warm Winter Wishes stamp set  I  colored with Prisma colored Pencils.  I added some sparkle to finish off my little snowman with some pizzazz!

Check out what the rest of the team did with this week's challenge!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Beautiful World!  We have a fantastic Beautiful World Tour for you this month that truly showcases some worldly Flourished glamor!   I, Betty Wright, challenged the Beautiful World Team to the Beautiful World of Sparkle this month.  Sit back and enjoy each stop on your Beautiful World Tour to see how each designer chose  to add some sparkle to their Flourished stamped creations.

If you've jetted here from Australia (Iwona's Blog)  your in the right country. If not, you may want to start your Beautiful World Tour at the Flourishes blog so you don't miss any of the inspiration along the way!

For my card I chose to make a CAS Christmas card.  It is slightly dimensional without adding a lot of bulk.  For my card I am using Flourishes Rejoice stamp set, Versa Mark, Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock , and Fine Gold embossing powder.  I love this beautiful word image.  I gold embossed the sentiment image and layered with some gold glittered card stock.  I added one additional popped up layer and my card was done.  I thought about adding a bow or some gold pearls, but I really wanted to keep it CAS and sort of flat for easy mailing.

Thanks for taking time to visit me, it's time to grab your passports and return to the Flourishes Blog and thanks for traveling with us today!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy your Beautiful World Tour!

times and a CASE challenge (Copy And Share Everything) is one of the best ways
to get those creative juices flowing! Come travel with us and see which team
member has inspired us to get crafty!

For my project this  month, the beautifully talented Meredith inspired me.  Her blog is chocked full of just gorgeous cards and projects.  I just love the wonderful box in bag she created here. The super easy tutorial is HERE at Splitcoaststampers.

With Christmas just around the corner, I always try to keep my eyes opened for fun little gifts to give others.  However, oftentimes the hardest part is the wrapping.  Presentation is everything.  These little box in a bag are easy to make and literally cost pennies to create. Plus, with the little box in the bottom they can hold quite a bit of stuff and are sturdy as well.   Gives lots of options for all kinds of fun gifts from hand lotions, ornaments, to sweet confections.  I love how Meredith stamped her own background paper.  A designer after my own heart.  I love to create some DP by ME!  I chose to make three little bags for Christmas.  I just love how they turned out and they were super fun to make as well.

For my first box in a bag I am using Flourishes Winter Bouquet  and Sweets of the Season stamp sets.I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I stamped the winter bouquet with Versa Mark.  I finished with a cream seam binding bow.

For my second box in a bag I am using Flourishes  Sweets of the Season and the snowflakes from Warm Winter Wishes. I used some kraft card stock and red card stock along with Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I used Memento Cocoa, Rhubarb, and Sky inks.  The snowflakes were stamped with some cream pigment ink.  The border at the bottom is in Spellbinder's Creative Pages Two dies.  I also used the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags   for the closure topper.   I finished with a cream seam binding bow and Spellbinder's ornament die used as a tag.

For my third box in a bag I am using Christmas Classics and Christmas Music stamp sets.  I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I stamped the the bird and branch image with Memento Cocoa and the musical score image with Memento Desert Sand inks.  I tried to keep this one with a more manly feel.   I finished with a cream seam binding bow.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit in America!   The next stop on your Beautiful World Tour is....

As always thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy your Beautiful World Tour!

This month the hostess is Anne-Elise and our theme is Remembering our Friends!

Hello!  I am Betty Wright!  Welcome to the United States of America!   I live in the state of North Carolina!   For my card I am using Flourishes Medallion Motif, From the Heart, and Tiny Flowers and Tags stamp sets.  I am using Flourishes Classic White card stock.  I stamped the medallion motif with Memento tuxedo black ink.  I colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collections  in Evergreen.

I die cut the medallion motif with Spellbinder's Label 22.  For the center I used Spellbinder's Beaded circles die.  I then used two smaller Spellbinder's Circles for the dotted frame that comes in the Medallion Motif set as well as one for the Miss You sentiment that also comes in this set.  For the sentiment circle I also used the tiny leafy image from the Tiny Flowers and Tags set.  I just stamped it over and over til circle was full.  The background was stamped using the small flourished image in the From the Heart set.  I stamped it to some avocado paper using Memento tuxedo black in as well.  The edges of all the white and avocado papers was ink distressed with Ranger Brushed Corduroy ink.  I finished with a cream seam binding bow topped with a flourished gold button from from stash.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit in America!   The next stop on your Beautiful World Tour is....

This month Kathy is hosting our Beautiful World Tour theme.   This month we are to be inspired by a  SONG!

Hello!  I am Betty Wright!  Welcome to the United States of America!   I live in the state of North Carolina!  Just a couple hours drive to the Atlantic Ocean!  I live in what they call the "south."

For my card I am using Flourishes Hydrangea and Tiny Flowers and Tags stamp sets.  I am using Flourishes Classic White card stock.  I stamped the hydrangea with Memento tuxedo black ink.  I colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collections.

I chose to keep my hydrangea flowers in soft hues of blues and lavender just like the ones in my garden.   Hydrangeas are my FAVORITE flowers!  I am sharing some pictures from my garden that I took earlier in the summer before the heatwave zapped them all.  They were hanging full this year.  Even with the heatwave these bushes have already grown a lot since these pics.   We were fortunate to still get rain even when it was sweltering. There are only a couple of blooms right now, though.  I hope to have more soon.  I love cutting a few and adding to vases throughout my living space.  Makes me happy happy, I tell ya!

I love hydrangeas because they are so huge and fluffy!  Plus, you never know what color they are going to be each year since their flower color is determined by the soil.  It is like Surprise!  Surprise!  Each little flower blooms to make the whole.  Sort of like the people of the world.  We all have a purpose.  We need to get along and come together to make things beautiful!   Combining how I feel about the flower with the kick off to this Beautiful World Tour, it made me think of the song... "It's a Small World After All!"
