ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (ODBDSNT51)!

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD51)!  The Challenge this rotation is all about 2012!  Or, at least the numbers that make up the year.  Like 2-0-1-2. The numbers are a formula or recipe for how much we can add  or not add to our cards!   Any stamps are allowed; however, if you use ODBD stamps you are entered twice for the win!  Play as often as you like!  The more you play the more you increase you chances to win!  Looking forward to seeing what you can make with 2012!

   2-  Use two of something
     0-  Use zero of something
 1- Use one of something
2- Use two of something else

For my card I am using ODBD Scripture Collection 5.  I combined some monochromatic colors of MME designer papers, stitched the frame and added a Spellbinder's pennant die cut.   For the challenge I used  2- Two embellishments (gems, button), 0- no embossing, 1- die cut, 2- ties( seam binding and memory thread).

Check out what the ODBD designer's created with the 2-0-1-2 Challenge!

Happy Thursday!  It is almost Christmas!  Kids are out of school finally.  Yesterday was there last day.  For today's card I am using ODBD  Mother's Day and Simple Things  with ODBD Poppy die and Vintage Border embossing plate.

I am using Prima Romantique designer papers.  I embossed the poppy flower in gold and die cut.  I colored with copics.    I am using the sketch from this week's Card Patterns 146.

We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

For today's card I am using ODBD Peace and Joy &Snowflakes Swirl Background with ODBD Custom Snowflake dies.   I stamped the large snowflake that comes in the set using Versamark and gold embossed.  I used the custom snowflake die and cut it out.  I stamped the snowflake swirl background using versamark and embossed in clear.  Love this subtle detail using black cardstock.  I then added the scripture at the bottom using a stamp a ma jig for perfect alignment.  I finished with a gold memory thread double bow topped with a gold pearl.  I am using the sketch from this week's Card Patterns 144.

ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD48), CRE84FN, and MORE!

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD48)! The assignment is to use Our Daily Bread Design stamps. The challenge this rotation is to create Christmas cards, gift packaging, gift ideas or anything festive you can think of to share with a Christmas theme!    Remember, the more you play the more you increase your chance to win! We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

For today's card I am using ODBD Blessed Christmas and Ornaments stamp sets.  I used ODBD custom poinsettia die for the focal image.  I colored with copics added some sparkle and topped it off with a muted hue Prima flower to add more dimension and a vintage feel.   I added a sentiment from and used the Quickie glue pen to add some sparkle.  I finished with some pearls dyed to match using a copic marker.  I have been creating many Christmas cards lately that use non-traditional Christmas colors.  When I saw the CRE84FN colors, I  just knew they would make a wonderful Vintage inspired Christmas card.  I am using the colors from CRE84FN42 and Sketchbook 37.

ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD47)!

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge (SNTODBD47)! The assignment is to use Our Daily Bread Design stamps. The challenge this rotation is all about using your favorite scripture on a card.  I realize favorites change from time to time so the scripture could be your favorite one right now.  Tell us why it is your favorite.     Remember, the more you play the more you increase your chance to win! We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

For my card I am using the newly released Warm Wishes along with  Peace and Joy.     I stamped  the snow scene with adorable snowman with vintage cream ink and embossed in white.   I die cut my image with Spellbinder's Heirloom Ornaments die.  To keep with the vintage theme I stenciled some ranger antique linen along with some vintage photo ink. I added touches of Reflections snow glitter to the image for a subtle contrast to the warm tones.  I also used some Prima Printery paper pad.  Less traditional Christmas colors, but I really love the warm tones and vintage feel.  I thought this snowman further expressed the scripture.  What we "do" or "can do" with the good and perfect things  we receive from God.

Check out the cards made by this rotation's Guest Designer, Kathy Roney  , and some of the other ODBD Designers!

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Blessings,
Betty
