I Came, I Went, I Shopped!

Here is my loot from the Memories Scrapbooking Expo in Columbus...{and Archivers in Easton}

The stamp sets that coordinate with the Nestabilities die cuts. Can't wait to play with these. These are the products that made all those paper flowers I showed in the last post.

Dear Lizzy...adorable!

Papers from TPC studios...glitter from PKGlitz...fiber {2 yards for $1}...Jolee's Easter pack

Paper by Cosmo Cricket

Paper by TaDa Creative Studios...love the little chickens!

Nerdy Bird and Cherry Delicious by Sassafras...this is the first time I have seen their products in person...I normally just drool over them online!

Paper by October afternoon.

Our make and take from Purple Daisy.

Paper from K&Co...Las Vegas laser die cute...stamps and white cards from Purple Daisy...card kit from Archivers {free with $50 purchase}

Loved the owl stamps at Inky Antics, but the prices were high on their wood stamps. I found this acrylic set {same images} for $14.95...much better!

Some of my loot from the $1 booth. I saw these same sets for $5 each in another booth! Score!

More $1 loot...

Still more $1 loot. The Raiders helmet is for my BIL's birthday card.

Still from the $1 booth...I am totally ready for the upcoming 2 trips to Disney in the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012!

Still from the $1 booth...told you I bought alot there!

We shopped til we dropped...or at least until we were so hungry we couldn't go on...lol! I love spending the time with my mom, and I am really looking forward to her visit in a couple weeks so we can play with our new toys!

What Would You Drive 2.5 Hours To Do?

I love love love the sight of this sign!

This Saturday, we {me, mom, Manga Dork, and MD's BFF Taylor} drove to Columbus Ohio to attend the Scrapbook Expo.

I get so excited when I walk through the door. I spent $60 in the $1 booth! LOL! I got some really nice goodies. I am going to share pics of my goodies tomorrow. I am too lazy to drag them out and take pictures today...seriously.

We fell in love with a booth featuring stamp sets that coordinate with Nestabilities die cuts. All the flowers on the above and following projects were made with the sets.

Aren't they gorgeous! The website is www.heartfeltcreations.us. The owners are so nice and eager to show you how to use the stamps with the Nestabilities.

Another of my fave booths is Purple Daisy. They have lots of stamps that coordinate with punches. We did a make and take that I'll show you tomorrow...so fun and easy!
My laziness is due to a combination of the weather {dreary and rainy} and my mom left this morning {boohoo}. I am such a Mommy's Girl.
Happy Monday! Hope you have a great week!

I Came...I Went...I Shopped!

On Saturday my mom, Manga Dork, Nicole (MD's BFF), and I drove to Columbus, OH to attend the Scrapbook Expo. We shopped the expo for 5 hours! I think our favorite booth was PK Blitz. They specialized in embossing and techniques with ultra fine glitter using wonder film and wonder paper. So fun!

Here is my loot from teh $1 booth...it was a 15 minute wait in line for the register, but it was worth it!

The glitter and papers are from PK Blitz. You use the metal stencils with the glitter...love the cupcake! I also fell in love with the stamps and coordination punches.

After the expo...where is a girl to go?...Archiver's of course! Loved the Hot Spot ($1.99) chipboard alphabets! I can't wait to work with the doodlebug flocking.

I loved this line of paper...such pretty colors!

I can't resist the little rack of papers with coordination die cuts and embellishments. Penny Lane and Laundry's stuff was A*D*O*R*A*B*L*E!

More paper...
You know how to tell when you had a great weekend? You are still catching up posting about it on Tuesday! I still have to post about Sunday...later today!
Happy Day!

My Expo Experience

This card was another make and take from expo (Scrapbook Groupies). We had to bring this one home to do. As for my day yesterday....it was fabulous. We met at 8Am and took a 15 passenger van to Columbus Ohio for the Memories Expo. This was my second year. I love all the booths, but I don't love trying to get into the booths. Talk about feeling like cattle! There is so much to look at and there seems to be alot of scrapbook getaway places popping up. I love getaways. It is fun to make friends with ladies as obsessed with scrappin' as I am. LOL!

After expo we drove over to Archiver's. "Kid in a candy store" is right! I love it! I bought lots of paper (as usual). Then we went to eat at Logan's Roadhouse. Yummy! I was naughty and had a "not so healthy" meal.

I took my 12 yo daughter with me and we were both exhausted at the end of the day. I actually have a couple small bruises on the top of my feet from some not so nice shoes. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Expo

This was the make and take from the Archiver's booth at expo. Not my greatest stamping work, but with about 30 women pushing on your backside and breathing down your neck it is not bad. LOL! I will post about my trip more later. I just have to give my kids their "attitude adjustment" after spending a day with Dad and Grandma!
