Hi, everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I can't believe it's over already! I've had a terrible cold for about five days, so some of the last week is a little foggy, but I DO know that our holiday was wonderful. Christmas Eve we went to Chris's parents' house with his family. Christmas Day was spent at home. My mom, dad, and grandma came over, and we just had a leisurely day -- it was really great!
I had my mammogram yesterday. It's just one of those "over 40" things that is part of my life now! Ladies, if you need to get one and haven't, please do it -- it's really not as bad as you might think! With this cold, I haven't wanted to do much of anything the last few days, but I did finally muster up the energy to stamp a little today. My mammogram inspired me to make this note holder. I used an oversized wood clothespin and covered the bottom with BasicGrey Romani paper. On the top, I stamped the image on white cardstock, then I paper pieced the dress and the little pink ribbon with more Romani paper. Her arms and neck were colored with a blender pen and Blush Blossom ink. I outlined the woman and shaded the background with a Prismacolor pencil, then I added some Cotton Candy Stickles to the pink ribbon on her dress. I sponged Pretty in Pink around the top and bottom panels and tied on some pink grosgrain ribbon.
It's a pretty simple project, but I think it's a cute little note holder! I always need reminders to make appointments, so hopefully this will help me! :) Ladies, here's a little reminder for all of you:
I'm hoping to have more energy this weekend for more stamping! I'll have sneak peeks of two new C.C. Designs Little Bit Kits to show you -- they are soooooo cute!! I hope you'll come back! Thanks for visiting! :)
Stamps: Think Pink (My Favorite Things) Cardstock: Whisper White (SU!) Paper: Romani (BasicGrey) Ink: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Blush Blossom (SU!) Other: blender pen, Cotton Candy Stickles, Prismacolor pencil, pink grosgrain, sponge

Very smart clip! and you are right ....a few moments of discomfort can save you and your family a world of pain!
Christina, I hope you are back to 100% soon! Nothing worse than being sick during the holidays.

What a great idea, Christina!! :) Where did you find the clip??
What a sweet and stylish reminder! I worked for a surgeon for 13 years and have had several family members with breast cancer...I can't say enough about the importance of regular mammograms!!
