Oh. My.

Have I ever told you how *much* I love fabric? No? Well I love it. Love. It. It is physically painful for me to walk into a quilt store and not buy something. I'm a fabric snob. I like the good stuff. Sure, I'll buy fabric from Joann and HoLo but I'd rather not. So when husband asked me what I wanted for mothers day and I told him a gift card to a quilt store, he looked at me like I was crazy and said "why do you need a gift card? You buy it anyway? How bout I just tell you to go buy fabric?" ha. Smart guy. But really, the reason wanted a gift card is because this fabric is going to be arriving in stores soon and I want it. It's by Sweetwater and I absolutely adore their fabric. All of it. I want to rub my face in it. Hopefully I can think of something to make with this line (like that'll be a problem, ha!) so I can take advantage of the fact t that husband *told me* to buy fabric! What do you think? Any great ideas for a project with this stuff?

A little goes a long way!

So I recently started couponing, you know, binder and all. I've been impressed with the many things I read and see about people being able to save hundreds of dollars on everday items. Let's face it. I don't like to spend money and things. I'd rather get them for free. So I started. I can see how it would bew easy to get out of control with couponing, and end up spending more than you save so I've placed a $20 dollar a week couponing budget for myself. Today I went out shopping and I am way excited with myself about what I bought! I did go over my budget by $6 dollars but I feel good about my purchases and everything I got! So here is the picture of everything:

(1) Venus with Olay Razor - $3.99 and at Walgreens you get rewards on some items and for this one I got a $4 dollar reward so after reward it was free!!!
(2) Tums Freshers - $2.74 each - $.24 cents each after coupons
(4) 5 ct. Allegra - $6.99 each Free after coupon!
(2) Glad Air Sprays - $.99 cents - Free after coupon!
(2) Jello Pudding- $1.19 each - $.31 cents each after coupon
(6) Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner - on sale for 2/$5 - $9.50 after coupons and I got a $5 reward for these so for all six after reward $4.50!
(2) Lady Speed Sticks - $3.99 each on sale for buy one get one free- $2.00 ($1 each) after coupons
(2) Mens Speed Stick - $3.49 each on sale for buy one get one free - $1.50 ($.75 each) after coupons
(2) Ocean Spray Juice - $2.99 each on sale 2/$5- $1.25 each after coupons
(1) Zantac 24 ct. $7.99- $.99 cents after coupons
(2) Greenworks Bleach- $3.99 each - $.99 each after coupons
(2) one dozen eggs on sale for 2/$2 - $.73 each after coupons
(1) crunch egg (i needed something extra cause I had too many coupons...)

For $26.42 I feel like I got a whole bunch of merchandise. I'm really excited about it!!!

we don't lock her because she is such a gem that we don't really have to worry that anyone will steal her.
