I played almost all weekend.

funwithshapessm

Well I am having some major issues trying to upload this post so am trying to type it all up again.

I spent all weekend most playing. Dyllon was at his mom’s and my Design Team package finally came from Sugar Nellie it had gotten lost but finally made it so I wanted to get caught up on some of them so used some challenges to get some inspiration.

This first card was really hard for me to do for I made it for a dear friend of mine that just found out she has 2 months to live. She has cancer and had been fighting it for awhile but now the hope is all gone. So this was really hard to use but I used this gorgeous image from Sugar Nellie  she is called Grace and I colored her with my copic’s. Papers are from Cloud 9  I used a sentiment from Lily Of The Valley and the flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts with the MS branch punch. I used the sketch over at Fun with Shapes Challenge Blog for there gorgeous sketch and Creative Inspiration for there theme of Plain and Simple.

Now this is one of those darling images from Bildmalarna and I won 2 images from the last challenge I was on cloud nine. I so love these cuties. This is Mimo and I have colored him with my copic’s and have used a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.  The papers are from MME and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts  I used a swirl bling  and a Maya Road pin on the card also. I used the theme over at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog

Now look at this darling this one is Best Witches from Sugar Nellie from the Simply Sassy collection. I have colored her with my copic’s and have used the sketch over at Basic Grey Challenge Blog  and have used the papers Urban Prairie. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaf is from Magnolia. The sentiment is from Lily Of The Valley and flowers are by Prima along with the MS branch punch, ribbon is from my stash.

Now here is a card I made with the sketch over at Create 4 Fun Challenge Blog I also am entering this into the challenge at Color Create for the colors are Red, Brown and Cream, and also for Paper Sundaes Challenge which is to use masculine colors. I used another image from Sugar Nellie from the Simply Sassy collection called Skater Girl. I used papers from Cloud 9 and the sentiment is from High Hopes  and I used some punches from SU for it . Flowers are from Prima and I used a swirl from Bosskut .  I added some Pearl Pen for some bling at the top corner.

Another Simply Sassy from Sugar Nellie she is called Windswept. Here I have used some papers from K and Co  and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts  with the MS branch punch. The sentiment is from Lily Of The Valley and I have used the beautiful sketch over at Friday Sketchers. She has also been colored with my copic’s.

Oh and I am so in love with this adorable Donald from Sugar Nellie. He is from the Home Grown collection and he just makes me want to squeeze him. I have used some papers from K and Co and Donald has been colored with copic’s. I used some ribbon from my stash and a spellbinder die with a High Hopes sentiment.  I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday for this card.

ss

Now for my last project I used one of the new images from Leanne Ellis over at Sugar Nellie and have used an effects technique from Nancy Curry to make a coaster.  I used all kinds of household goods to make this  coaster. I did use some alcohol inks with it and colored the edges with a Gold Leafing Pen that you can see in the next picture and added some felt under it.

I believe the wording is from Stampavie

This week is our 1st year anniversary!!! Can't believe it has been that long already. But our challenge to you this week is a sketch with a twist. We would like for you to make it a theme of THANK YOU!
We would like to dedicate this challenge to our monthly sponsor Simon Says Stamp, and thank them for all the wonderful prizes they have donated. Simon Says Stamp is your one stop shopping you can find anything you need there, and Heidi and the girls are just awesome. Fast and such friendly service.
Just Magnolia is one year old! And to celebrate we are running a blog hop which is being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.
Here is the Blog Hop!!!
The theme of this week's challenge is Thank-You. For the DT this means a huge thank you to all our lovely followers and entrants each week and also to our amazingly generous sponsors for the fabulous prizes they put up each week.

If you just left Mina's blog then you are on the right track, if not then please start at the Just Magnolia blog. When you are finished here then please go to Michelle's blog.
So hope you all come and join in and help us celebrate, plus there is one fab prize to be won.

So for my special project I made a card with one of the new Tilda's and I have used papers from BG. I used some SU rub on's on the top of the card also but you can't see very well in the picture. I added some leaf's and branches from the MS punches and one of the spellbinder dies at the bottom. I also used one of the EK success border punches. All of these items on my card you can find at Simon Says Stamp, even the roses I used on this card you can get there.
Then I also made a notebook with the sketch we have that was made by Mina. I again used the BG papers and MS border punch along with the leaf and branch punch for the roses. Some SU ribbon and punches for my wording which the wording is from Simon Says Stamp brand. I used my bind it all to make the notebook holder and distressed the edges with the distressed ink.
Well please come and join us this week and help us celebrate our 1st year and to say Thank you to Simon Says Stamp for all there wonderful help on the challenge blog.

Hugs to you!!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!! I had my oldest granddaughter for the weekend and we both had fun playing and stamping lol She is 6 and loves coloring like her grandma lol

I have managed to make a few cards for some challenges. This card is for Friday Sketchers there is always a lovely sketch there to follow and this one was so awesome to do. I used April Showers from Sugar Nellie from the new Manga release. I tell you I am just in love with these Manga images. I have colored her with my copic's and have used the most gorgeous papers from K&Co. Oh when I saw these I just had to get them, since purple is my favorite color. lol

The flower is made from the tutorial from Bev using the spellbinders blossom, and I have used the L-em branch punch. The wording is from Simon Says Stamp and used punches from SU for it.

Then over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp they also have a gorgeous sketch and I have used this cute little rascal from I Brake for Stamps,he is called Kane. He is so adorable and I just cut him out instead of using the circle template on the sketch for I wanted the background stamp to show through. It is also from I Brake for Stamps. The background stamp says YES!!! Isn't that cool!!! The wording is computer generated and I have used one of the MS punches. I left this one pretty plain so the background stamp could be seen. The papers I have used are from BoBunny.
And here is another one of those adorable Manga images from Sugar Nellie, this one is Bloom and Grow. I made this card for the challenge sketch over at Sketchy Colors. And this is another wonderful sketch I will be using again. I have colored her with my copic's and the papers are from DCWV, and of course they are purple lol I used the flourish from BossKut and added some flat pearls to the card.

After doing the blog hop at Sugar Nellie's this weekend using the oldie's but goodies I just had to dust off and ink up my Dressing Up Maggie from Sugar Nellie. I am going to start dusting off these oldies for I do love all of them. I colored her with my copics too and used some papers that are retired from SU. And made my flowers with the retro punches and my spellbinder labels for the wording along with the SU oval punch. The wording is from Verve. This card I made for the wonderful sketch over at Sketch Saturday.

Good Day Everyone!!! I hope you all are staying warm. Here in Indiana we are under a Winter Storm Watch and we have snow and more snow and it is still falling. We are to have up to 9 inches by tomorrow. The wind is blowing so bad. I tell you what I had a vacation day today for I had to go to the dentist early this morning to have some work done and it took me over 1 1/2 hours to get there. I wanted to turn around so many times but made it and was never so glad to get home. I so hope the roads are much better in the early A.M when I have to go to work!!!
I took advantage of my vacation day and made a card for Papertake Weekly and used the sketch by the lovely Dawny. I used papers from BG and this image is one of the new Sugar Nellie Manga Girls!!! Isn't she darling!!!! She is called Bloom and Glow!. I colored her with my copics and left the card pretty simple for this image just had to be the attention that is for sure.
I used a brad bumble bee and the wording is from Simon Says Stamp. And the ribbon is from SU and I used one of the newer MS border punches.
Well stay in stay warm. Thanks for stopping bye and would sooooooo love to hear your comments on these adorable new Manga Girls. Which one of the them is your favorite???

A Long Post

Hello my dear friends!!! How is everyone doing after the Big Holiday?? Getting ready for the New Year?? Me I don't celebrate the New Year only because I can't stay up that late lol I get up at 3am to go to work so I am long asleep by then lol
I wanted to show you a few challenges I have done, I have not been online much so far this week and just had not posted anything so figured I had better get busy and write this up before it came a book lol
First I have a card made for my cousin's wife, She is just the sweetest person and I just love her to death. I have used the sketch by Dawny over at Papertake Weekly and have used one of my Manga girls from Sugar Nellie. I colored her with my copic's and my papers are from BoBunny.
I used punches from SU for my Simon Says Stamp wording and then my new MS border punch.
And these GORGEOUS flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, I just so love these flowers I so hope you all have went and got you some you can't beat the price for these beauties especially for all you get.

Here is another one of the Manga girls from Sugar Nellie, I soooooo love these stamps. I have used the sketch over at Mojo Monday to make this notepad it is a gift for my cousin's wife to go along with the card above. All items are the same as above put also used a spellbinder tag.

This is a card I made with one of the new Sugar Nellie stamps from the baby collection she is called Caitlyn isn't she adorable?? I have used the sketch over at A Spoonful of Sugar for this card. I used papers from My Minds Eye and have colored her with my copic's. Added some buttons from my stash.

Now this cutie is Heather she is from Sugar Nellie's Sugar and Spice collection. I so enjoyed coloring her with my copic's these images are so easy to color in and shade.
I have used the Mind's Eye collection again on this so love the papers. This sketch I used is from the Sunday's Sketch and Stamp Challenge. I have used some Prima flowers that I got from a dear friend for Christmas with brads and spacers in the center, and some raffia ribbon and added some bling from my stash.

Oh and look at this cutie, this is the vintage baby from Sugar Nellie , oh just so precious laying there. Reminds me I have to baby sit tomorrow sure hope that baby of mine is this good lol Nathaniel is at the age 10 months where he is into everything lol
I have used papers from BG and have used my copic's again (as always) The wording is from Verve Stamps, I just knew when I saw this I had the perfect image for it. I have used my sizzix die for the stars and have used pop dots under them. This sketch is from Create 4 Fun Challenge.

Now here is another beauty from the Sugar and Spice collection over at Sugar Nellie her name is Elise. My picture never took very well here because of the acetate, I have tried several times but just not getting a good one so only took 1 view. I used the acetate box tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers and have added some Reese's cups to the inside.

Well if you made it to the bottom of this post thanks so much for sticking it out lol I am so sorry I just hadn't posted some of these earlier.
Hope you all have a great week and be safe and have a Happy New Year if I don't make it back before then.
Thanks for stopping bye and sending big hugs

Well the weekend is about over and time to get ready for work tomorrow but wanted to post some challenges I got done today. I finally got all my shopping done yesterday and after doing all the chores last night I had the day to play some today.

Here is a card for Friday Sketchers, a wonderful sketch by Carole. I have used Bubbles from Sugar Nellie from the Home Grown collection isn't she a doll???? I have colored her with my copic's and have used papers from K&Co and one of my new MS border punches, I just love this one. I added some flat pearls to the top of it and used my retro punches to make some flowers. I used stickles on the bubbles.
This card I made with the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I have used Callum from Sugar Nellie also from the Home Grown Collection, You all will just love these stamps so if you have not bought yours yet oh you must get on the ball and do so they are soooooooooo easy to color, and just the cutest. Callum has been colored with my copic's and I have used papers from SU and my wording is from a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp which NEVER leaves my desk lol I also used a MS border punch on this card , the punches for the wording are from SU also.

Now this project I made for a gift card I needed for Christmas. I used the tutorial at Patty's Blog to make it. The papers are from BG and I used the Pine tree border punch from MS on the band that goes around the gift card. The wording is a peel off from Starform. Now my image is from Sugar Nellie it is Peace Angel from the Diane Dude collection. I colored her in with my copic's and added some glamour dust on her wings.
This picture is the gift holder opened with the band.

And this picture is of the holder closed.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I got to do some shopping with my dear friend and had a wonderful time. 8 days and counting till I am off work for over a week and am so ready for it.
Have a wonderful evening all and thanks so much for stopping bye. Hugs
