Play Time!!!!

Well I spent the day at home today doing nothing but fun things. I put the housework aside for the day and just took a day for me lol So I got to make some cards for some challenges. Seems like forever since I have been able to do this. So here goes.

Sketch Saturday


As always they have a wonderful sketch for us this week and I really enjoyed doing this one but hey I love them all lol.I used some of the new Magnolia's that a dear friend sent me I colored them with my copic's and spica glitter pens and I did use my glazed pens in a few places. I cut the images out and mounted them on a piece of SU cardstock that I had ran through the cuttlebug embossing folder. The PP is from K&Co aren't they gorgeous?? I so love there papers. I have used the Martha Stewart lace border punch and the easter stamp is one of the G stamps. I also punched out some daisies with one of the punches I had and really not for sure the brand of the punch.

The Sugar Bowl



Over at the Sugar Bowl the theme is to make a Mothers Day card. This was really hard for me since my Mother is no longer with me just brought back times I remembered so well but I made the card for my granddaughter to give to her mommy for Mother's Day. We won't have ours here in the states for awhile. I used one of the gorjuss girls I just think these are the cutest stamps and so easy to color in. She is colored in with my copics and spica glitter pens. I used some BG and K&CO paper here and some raffia ribbon that a very dear friend sent me. SOme prima flowers with a brad and spacer in the center with some leaf and branch punches. I hadded a SU button in the one corner and the punches for the wording is also from SU. The wording is computer generated.

Penny Black Saturday



Over at Penny Black Saturday Tracie has a wonderful sketch for us this week and I used one of the newer stamps I colored them in with my copic's and spica glitter pens.I used the Martha Stewart border punch for the middle of the card and used my retro flower punches for the flowers along with some brads and spacers. I also added some buttons in each of the corners. Thanks for a great sketch Tracie.

Cute Card Thursday


Now this is one speical challenge week for Cute Card Thursday!! It is there birthday!! Happy Birthday !!!!!!!! I can't believe it has been a year already.And I so love the new look you all have gotten. Katharina has done a very special sketch for the big bash and what a wonderful sketch it is. One I know I will sure use again.
I have used one of the Sugar Nellie images by Elizabeth Bell. She has been colored in with my copic's and spica glitter pens. The ribbon on top of the tag is from SU. and my raffia ribbon in the center (oh how I love this stuff) was sent to me by a very good friend of mine. Thanks dear!! My papers is from Su and I used the retro flower punches for my flower with the brad and spacer. And also my branch punch. The sentiment digital and from Design Originals. I want to wish you all at CCT a wonderful birthday and thanks for a great year ladies.

Get Well!!!!


This week at Penny Black Saturday the theme for the challenge was Get Well Soon. I used one of my older stamps and colored her in with my copic's and spica glitter pens. The flower is a couple of crochet flowers I made and used a button brad for the center. The flourish is from Bosskut and the branch leaf is from MS. The wording is from SU along with the label punch. My papers are from BG boy do I love BG.

Love You & Hoppy Easter


Well Jo has done it again with another gorgeous sketch at Sketch Saturday. I have used this cute adorable Moorehead image that my friend Jacqui sent me. Isn't he so cute??? I colored him in with my copic's, spica glitter pens and used a white gel marker for highlights. I added some peel off stickers and my ribbon is from SU. My pendant at the bottom was just from my stash so not sure where it came from.

At Penny Black Saturday Nat has a gorgeous sketch she has made for us and what a sketch it is. I really enjoyed using it and I know it will be one I will use again. I have used this gorgeous Bunny that my friend Jacqui had sent me. I colored her in with my copic's, spica glitter pens. I used the retro flower punches with some brads and buttons and punched some branch's out from my Martha Stewart punches. I added some purple bling to the top that I had gotten at my local scrapbook store and added some ribbon from my stash. The edges of the paper are distressed with vintage distressed ink from Ranger.

Penny Black Saturday


This week at Penny Black Saturday the theme is a color theme (Pink & Brown) love these colors together. Here I colored my image in with my copic markers and spica glitter pens added the white gel pen. I distressed each layer with Walnut distresed ink. I added the flourish die and used a daisy punch and added them to the flourish and the image.I added somem bling in spots on the part where the image is. The raffia lace (OMG LOVE THIS) if from my dear friend Rach, I love how you can add this and it still show all your card.

Be Mine & A Pirates Life for Me!


Penny Black Saturday (Embossing)
This week at Penny Black Saturday you were to use embossing on your project. Well I wanted to make a Valentine tablet with my bind it all. I covered both pieces of chipboard with my paper with a glue stick I sanded the edges and distressed them with Walnut distressed ink.I then used the Zutter corner rounder on the edges. I used my bind it all and punched the holes and then bond the coils. I used my Martha Stewart border punch and then my cuttlebug heart embossing folder and layered it to the tablet. I added prima flowers and the quickut leaf die. My friend Jacqui had sent me this gorgeous charm and I added it with some chain from one of the flowers. The Penny Black image was colored with my copic's and spica glitter pens and then cut out with my coluzzle heart template.

High Hopes (Torn Paper)

This week the challenge at High Hopes is torn paper. I colored the High Hopes Pirate image with my copic markers and spica glitter pens and took some map paper and torn around the edges of it and then distressed it with Walnut distressed ink. I mounted the image and added a photo holder in the top of it. Used my nestibilites for the wording and added some brads to the edges of it. I also tied some help cord around my sword charm and glued it to the card.
I am also going to be sending this card to Tina's grandfather. He is going to be having his 88 birthday the 21st and we hope he gets showered with tons of birthday cards.

Penny Black Saturday #24


I don't know why my schedule on my blog doesn't work but noticed today my card never got published so am doing it again.


This week on Penny Black Saturday the theme was Funky Christmas. I used the adorable little cat with the Santa hat. I colored her in with my SU reinkers and Twinkling H20's. I added glamour dust to the fur of the hat. And added some hot pink prima flowers to go along with her hot pink hat lol The wording stamp is from Inkadinkado.

My Challenges for the week

So sorry these are all combined folks but I am cutting it so very close this week. Had ALL the grandkids Saturday and just didn't get nothing done besides cleaning up after them lol. So I do apologize for this being in one post.




This week at Cute Card Thursday the theme was Red and Green so I used my Santa from Sugar Nellie's and used distressed inks to color Santa in. I used the Inkadinkado Naughty or Nice stamp and added prima flowers and my leaf punch there are spacers and bling in the middle of the flowers.. I aslo used my fiskars border punch and then some rub ons next to the ribbon .

Penny Black Saturday


There was s beautiful sketch this week at Friday Sketchers by Mumur, I had so much fun making this card and the them at Penny Black this week was Monochromatic!! So I used shades of red for this adorable stamp. I just love this image and I also used distressed inks and Twinkling H20's to color this in. I think I am getting the hang of it but man takes me forever lol I also used some flat pearls on the side and on the photo corner. Added a red prima flower with the leaf punch and took my circle punch and folded in half and added to the left side.

High Hopes


This week at High Hopes you were to use buttons and brads. I used this adorable elf stamp and colored him in with my copic markers. USed the nestabilites dies for the matting and added a prima flower with the spacer and brad in the middle. I also used my Martha Stewart lace punch for the top . Added some brads around the image and buttons of a reindeer , stocking and gingerbread man. The wording is from Inkadinkado.

Magnolia VS Stampavie


There is a gorgeous sketch this week at Magnolia VS Stampavie and I really enjoyed this went out of my box some to do this long card. Just not use to doing this size card. But I used Tilda from the pink collection from Magnolia and colored her in with the distressed inks and twinkling H20's. I matted her on pink cardstock and then some PP that I used the Martha Stewart Lace Doily border punch on. I used the pink ribbon from Magnolia and also the wording is from the Pink collection. The flowers is from Prima with the spacer and brad in the middle with the leaf punch and added some flat pearls to the bottom. Thanks for a gorgeous sketch Donna.

Secret Crafter Saturday


Now for Secret Crafter Saturday Challenage it was Cute as a Button. I used Melinda from Whiff of Joy isn't she adorable?? I colored her with SU reinkers and twinkling H20's and used my spica glitter pens too. I added some ribbon and Prima flowers with the buttons and the leaf punch. The swirls are from Inkadinkado. I used glamour dust on Melinda's wings and added buttons to on the ribbon.

Penny Black meets Sketch Saturday and A Spoonful of Sugar


This week on A Spoonful of Sugar the theme is Sparkle and Bling, On Penny Black the theme was Get Sparkly. Then there was a wonderful sketch again over at Sketch Saturday by Coco. Since I have been sick with the flu bug I decided to combine a few challenges.
I used the image from Penny Black with these gorgeous snow family. Colored them with my Copics and used glitter on there hats. I added some sparkly snowflakes and some stars on my card. I used the Inkadinkdo circle stamp that says let it snow.
The ribbon is just from HL.

Penny Black Saturday #18


Just in time. I was needing to make a Thank you card and just in time for this awesome challenge over at Penny Black Saturday.
I used copics and spica glitter pens to color in my images. Isn't the cat just so cute. You have to love these PB images. I added some prima flowers with spacers and some SU ribbon the saying at the bottom is also a rub on from SU. I added the photo corners with my SU punch with brads. The Martha Stewart punch was used for the lace.
The paper is from some that my dear friend Claudia had sent me.

Penny Black Saturday #17



There is a gorgeous sketch over at Penny Black Saturday this week. I so love sketch challenges. I used the snowman image that my dear friend Jacqui sent me. I used my copic's on the snowmans bag and hat and some glitter on his hat too, the body of the snowman I used fun flock on it not quite sure about the fun flock on him but thought I would try it. The postage die cut behind the snowman is from Debbie's Die Cuts. The stars and poinsettia is from Prima and the snowflake brad is from HL. I also used a snowman charm on the ribbon from Fanciful Inc. The snowflake DP is from my local scrapbook store. I was so thrilled to have my favorite color in snowflake paper.

A 2 for 1



I have had such a busy week running I had to get a couple of the challenge put into 1 lol You all know how that is don't you??? Tomorrow I will be gone all day for I go for my final visit to the surgeon in the big city. So wanted to get this done tonight.
This is for Katharina's sketch #12 on Papertake Weekly she always has such wonderful sketchs. I just love this one it is just perfect for my image and get to show off my new snowflakes and favorite color snowflake paper I got at the local scrapbook store. I colored my image in with the copic markers and used some fun flock on the hat. Isn't he just adorable?? Jacqui sent me this gorgeous image and I just so love it. I really love this fun flock it is so soft!!! Here is a close up of the fun flock.



The card is also for the Penny Black Saturday challenge for my stamp is from Penny Black and I choose the winter season. The ribbon is from HL and the wording is a rub on from American traditions.
