Sunday Project!!!

Hello everyone!!! Well it is the last day of the weekend and that means tomorrow back to the slave board lol. But I have had this project on my mind lately and just had to do it.
I saw this on one of the SU blogs awhile back (not for sure which one sorry!) but I covered some chipboard with paper and added a cork board to it. Used the crop a dile to punch some holes at the top and ran some ribbon through it for some extra large eyelets for hanging. I used this adorable Charlotte writing letter from Whiff of Joy and glued her to the cork. I made some flowers with my retro punch and used the SU leaf die. Oh and also cut the word note out of my bosskut alphabet die. Put it all together and added a post it note pad and a couple of T-Pins to post the notes.
I made this for one of my dear friends at work, for tomorrow is her birthday. I so hope she will like it.
Well thanks for stopping bye and seeing me today, Have got laundry going soon to be done lol
It just never ends does it?? My weekends go so fast trying to get all the housework done for I sure don't get much done during the work week.

Doing the Sugar Bowl +

How are you all doing this weekend??? Fine I do hope, I DID have to work Saturday so not much playing time for me but did manage to do a couple of challenges.

This first one is for the Sugar Bowl!!! A lovely sketch this week with the please include option of distressing!!! I have used one of the new digital images from Sugar Nellie this one is called Dream Cather. Isn't she adorable??? I have colored her with my copic's and my papers are from MME. I have distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool and added some distressing ink to the edges. This sketch was just gorgeous and so I didn't want to cover up any of it so I left this really simple.

This is another digital image from Sugar Nellie, this image is Boy and Girl Fairy. It is so nice to get these digital images from Sugar Nellie for I don't have to wait at all to get them. I live in the US so it takes me about a week to get my stamps this was just awesome to have them right away. I have used on my card the Spiral punch from SU, my retro flower punches and have added some touches from my new stamps from Stempelglede as well as in the corner. The wording is a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. The sketch I used on this card is from Sketch Saturday so I will be entering it there and also the theme at the Pink Elephant is Birthday so this fits in there also. This is my first time joining in at the Pink Elephant. I don't know why but am going to have to keep this one in mind too.

Now here is a sneak peak at one of the new images from Mary Hall that will be released soon at Sugar Nellie, These are some of her Winter kids, Aren't they cute out in the snow?? I have colored them with my copic's and have used some poplar white flower soft for the snow. I just love this flower soft. The wording is from Verve. And the sketch I have followed here is from Create 4 fun, this week.

Well this is all my fun I got to do this weekend, The rest of my time was spent in the factory working, now I need to get my house work done. I know I hate it too lol Have a wonderful week and big hugs coming at you!!
