Colorful Thank You

I'm back again today with another card. Today I'm playing along at the Card Concept. I love this bright and fresh color palette!

DEEtails:

I started with this awesome Ikat stamp that I had in my stash. I inked up a few small areas with my Calypso Coral Stampin' Write Marker and spritzed it with a bit of water and stamped it on. I copied the technique with Lost Lagoon and stamped it over the Calypso Coral. Once everything has dried, I stamped the pretty flowers from So Very Grateful in Versamark ink and embossed it in black. I colored in my image using the same colors as the background and some Gumball Green for the leaves. I love how the ink from the background and the colored flowers are layered. Then I stamped and embossed the lovely sentiment from Avery Elle's Oh Happy Day onto some Gumball Green Cardstock, which I trimmed into a thin banner. I tucked a piece of Calypso Coral DSP doily underneath and sprinkled with some pretty sequins.

I always struggle to define my card style, but especially for this one....  Help me, please!

Cupcake Inspirations Challenge 297

Hello friends! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Today we have a fun flower challenge at Cupcake Inspirations.

This week we are being sponsored by Craft Classes Online. You could win a free seat to one of their classes! How fun!

Here are the DEEtails for today's card:

I stamped the pretty flower image from So Very Grateful on some Whisper White Cardstock and colored it in using my Stampin' Write Markers. Then I stamped the sentiment from Another Thank You before I trimmed down the image and punched it with the Angled Tag Topper punch. The rest of the card was pretty simple. I used some patterned paper from Heidi Swapps Favorite Things line - I told you I'm loving this stuff! Then I layered on some Chevron ribbon over a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that I punched with the Scallop Edge Border and then tied up some pretty Cotton Ribbon on my tag. This is the first time using the Cotton Ribbon and I am just loving the way it flows! Then I adhered the tag with some Stampin' Dimensionals and added a few pretty sequins as a finishing touch. What do you think?

Water Colored Thanks

I found a few more cards from back in September to share with you... For this one, I brought out some watercolors!

DEEtails:
This lovely stamp from So Very Grateful was stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed in white on some watercolor paper. The embossing makes it quite easy to paint and I did so with a simple set of Crayola watercolors - these were actually a set from my brother's grade school days. I mounted the watercolored piece onto some more watercolor paper and added the stamped sentiment underneath. (I trimmed the edges with the banner punch.) Everything was adhered to a fabulous piece of Baked Brown Sugar patterned DSP. I'm loving the color and the polka dots and hope you do too!

Paper: Baked Brown Sugar card stock, Baked Brown Sugar patterned DSP, watercolor paper
Stamps: So Very Grateful
Ink: Basic Black, VersaMark
Tools: watercolors, White Stampin' Emboss

Grateful Blooms

Here's another card from way back in September...

This bright and cheerful card was actually inspired by a cake! Too pretty to eat!

DEEtails:
I was excited to play with my new stamp set at the time, So Very Grateful. I stamped it on some Whisper White card stock, which I trimmed down and made into a tag with the Tag Topper Punch - so fun! Then I used my Stampin' Write markers to color in these beautiful blooms. I added a little Linen Thread to my tag and layered it over some DSP, Burlap ribbon, and Delicate Details Lace Tape with some Dimmensionals. Finally, I added the sentiment by stamping the polka dot pattern from Perfect Pennants in VersaMark ink on some Regal Rose card stock. I trimmed it down to make a little banner and added it right to my tag. Such fun little accents on this card!

Paper: Bermuda Bay card stock, Regal Rose card stock, Regal Rose Patterned Paper, Whisper White card stock
Stamps: Perfect Pennants, So Very Grateful
Ink: Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Coral Cameo, Gumball Green, Melon Mambo, & Yoyo Yellow Stampin' Write Markers, VersaMark Ink
Embellishments: Burlap Ribbon, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Linen Thread
Tools: Banner Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals,Tag Topper Punch

A Different Butterfly CASE

I had so much fun layering patterned papers and butterflies that I wanted to keep on going! But I'm sure it would make for quite a boring blog if I posted basically the same card every day. Haha. So I looked to my favorite source of inspiration... Pinterest, of course, and found this lovely card by Maile Bailes that I decided to CASE for today's card.

DEEtails:
The patterned papers that I decided to use today are old ones from Sycamore Street. I was able to strategically place some card stock on that Bigz Beautiful Butterflies Die to create my focal point. I added a few Rich Razzleberry embellishments and a sentiment and I had this fun card. Is it too purpley?

Paper: Rich Razzleberry card stock, Sycamore Street DSP, Whisper White card stock
Stamps: So Very Grateful
Ink: Basic Black
Embellishments: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Sycamore Street Buttons
Tools: Banner Punch, Bigz Beautiful Butterflies Die
