Franklin, TN: Labrador Needs Rescue

Please crosspost on Jessie's behalf to find a rescue for this very deserving dog and contact me at kmenzyk@yahoo.com (@yahoo.com) if you can help.  Meet Jessie!  She is a beautiful deaf yellow Labrador Retriever whose owners moved and could not take her with them.  Jessie is five years old and is such a gentle, good-natured soul.  Jessie has wonderful manners, walks well on a leash, enjoys playtime in the yard and is very affectionate.  She has one of those wonderfully expressive doggy faces that looks like she is smiling at you.  Jessie is spayed, heartworm negative and current on her distemper/parvo and kennel cough vaccinations.  Prior to leaving Animal Control, Jessie will be microchipped and given a rabies vaccination.  PULL FEE PAID!

Ashtabula, OH: Deaf, Senior, Black Lab Needs Rescue

Poor Nanan has 3 strikes against her...she's Black, she's a Senior (10+ yrs old) and she's Deaf. :( She has been sitting in the shelter since June !! She is a very sweet dog, but needs to be in a home living out her final years in comfort, with a family who loves her !

Because she is deaf, she needs to be somewhere where her people know not to startle her or sneak up from behind- probably best that she not be around small children for this reason. If you would like to help Nanan or know of someone who might, Please have them contact me. :)
