{ Keep In Touch, new goodies }

I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. I wanted to share a mini album I created for Keep In Touch Card Shop. The album has a total of 14 pages and Kelly has all the pages on her blog. I will upload it to the gallery and post a link. I wanted all the fun photos of Alex from the summer in one place and this little album from Jenni Bowlin was perfect. Here are two more cards from the kit. I had to share what I got from Tara Anderson. She was a guest designer for Elle's Studio in July and had some extra goodies to give away!!! How fun are those little stamps? Thanks Tara.I couldn't resist these adorable Owl stamps at Michael's the other day, love owls. Oh, and some trees, my other favorite, and some border stamps by Kolette Hall. OK, have a great night. I have a date with an awesome, August, kit form My Scrapbook Nook.

  6. Are you ever disappointed with how the clear stamps from Michaels ink up and stamp? If they aren't a major brand name, I've had trouble. You? Cuz I love those owls, and want to get some!

  7. Amy, the only problem I had with the stamps from Michaels are the little Studio G Hampton Art stamps. Some inks "bead up". In that case I just don't use that ink (Stampin' Up) or I "rough up" or condition the stamp. I do that by stamping with the stamps on a scratch piece of paper for a while or use an eraser to rough up the back. I have had problems with name brand stamps, as well, and that is what they recommend.
    I will let you know how these new ones are.
