I was trying to post this card earlier, but blogger was acting up. This is my card for the challenge. You have until Monday morning, 8 a.m. CST to post your card to be eligible for a prize. My challenge is to create a fall/thank you card: use fall colors, ribbon and a stamp.

{ Just Johanna WCMD challenge }

I made this card for Just Johanna World Card Making Day challenge that Melissa is hosting on here blog. There were some rules: use pink and green, polka dots, transparency, buttons and scallops. Well, I have it all here. I used Doodlebug Design patterned paper, Hambly transparency, Offray ribbon, Hampton Art stamp.

{ Christmas in July }

I will not be back until Saturday, but I wanted to let you know about a crop that we are having at Create My Keepsake - Christmas in July Event July 28 - 29. There are going to be 10 different projects and prizes for porjects and random drawings for prizes throughout the day. Sneak peek for all the projects here. { Houston Regional }

I went to Stampin’ Up Regional in Houston last weekend. It was my first one and I had no idea what to expect. I did find out couple of days before that people swap at this event. I came up with something easy and simple and made 20 cards. That was plenty for me. Some people made 100!!!! I did get some awesome cards in return. I met some wonderful people and one of them was LaDonna. She was a sweet person I met in the parking garage and we spent the day together since we both came alone. Thanks LaDonna for hanging out with me. Overall, it was fun and I learned several new techniques I hope to use soon. And, of course, a new stamps set. I don’t have a picture of it yet.
