I was checking my blogroll and I found out one of the challenge blogs I love had a DT-call. Wow, how I would love to be part of the LOVE TO CREATE team!
To join, you have to make a Valentine/Love project with a creative fold, and pull some of the colors from the inspirational picture.

I chose to work with Red and Blue and I added some brown too. This is the project I created.
I created a stepper card. The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, and were the perfect shades for this project. The image I used is by Saturated Canary and is called Love Letters. The image can be purchased here. Let me show you a close-up of my colored image.
I used my beloved Copic Markers to color this image, and I used the following colors.
Skin: E50, E51, E53 and R20 for blush.
Lips: R20, R22
Eyes: BG000, BG01
Hair: E33, E35, E37, E29
Shirt: R20, R22, R24, R27, R29
Pants: BG0000, BG000, BG01
I used one of my oval dies to cut out the image and I stamped some swirls from Inkadinkadoo on it with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. I also inked the edges of all my papers with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
The sentiment I used is from a set by AmyR, and is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The diecut behind the sentiment is from Noor!Design.
I used some alphabet brads to create the word LOVE.
To finish my project I made several different flower pieces. I used some Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima Marketing flowers for it. I also cut out a fence, a bird and a birdhouse with Creatables dies, and I added a charm and some twine.
That was my project for the Love to Create DT-Call, I hope you like it.
See you next time!
Hugs, Sandra
