Jaylinn

Hi all!

Today is the first birthday of Jaylinn, the daughter from my husbands coworker. We were invited to her birthday party, but unfortunately we couldn't make it, so I created her a birthday card instead.
I accidentally found out Jaylinns mom asked who could make a Minnie Mouse cake for her, so I knew I had to make a Minnie Mouse card.

I used my Silhouette to cut out Minnie Mouse's head, and the letters. The bow is made with my We Are Memory Keepers Envelope punch board.
The polka dot paper is from Bo Bunny, and was in my stash for ages.
On the white panel behind Minnies head I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!
Happy Birthday Jaylinn!

Selfie mini album

Hi all!

I am here to share a mini album with you all. To create the album I followed a tutorial on Facebook, from the Dutch hobby store Hobbyvision. It was a challenge, which has now ended, so I can't link to the tutorial itself.

The theme for this mini album is selfies. My 16 month old daughter is totally crazy about my mobile phone, and she even knows how to unlock the camera and tae pictures. I really have a lot of selfies on my phone, just because of her taking them, so I decided to print some of them, and use them in my mini album.

Here's the front of my album. The paper collection I used for this album is by Prima Marketing, Stationery Desk A4 paper pad. I used this collection for a previous mini album, and had a lot of leftover papers, so I made this album with it as well.
The diecuts on the front cover, are all made with dies from Noor Design. The word selfie is made with Noor Design Typewriter key stamps.
All flowers I used are by Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is a view of the spine of my album. The heart I used on the ribbon is from a Dutch shop called Action.

And a sideview looking inside the album. I tied the ribbon pretty thight because my album is so full, it can't close by itself.

On the inside cover, all kraft elements are made with Noor Design dies. All papers are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. On the first page I used that same die again, and stamped a sentiment to it with a stamp by AmyR.

The notches to pull the labels out of the pockets are made with my We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.
The notebook border is made with a die from Noor Design as well

I rounded all corners of my photos with my 1/4 inch corner chomper.

The bingo card is stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink onto one of the more solid papers of the designer paper. It is a stamp from Noor Design
See my ugly nail polish? I should have cleaned them before taking my pictures haha!

Another bingo card from the same Noor Design set, and the other sentiment is also made with a Noor Design stamp. It is in Dutch, and it says 100% sweet.

I used the Noor Design Frame die again, and I used one of my oval dies for the inside of the frame. I finished my frame with several flat backed pearls.

And last but not least the inside back cover, with a picture from my lovely family.

Here are the top loading labels. They are from a Dutch shop called Kimya.

And the side loading labels. The right sides of the labels have rounded edges, same as all the pictures I used.

This was it, I hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Art by Mi Ran - A present, from me to you!

Hi all!

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and I want to share my creation with you all as well!

Looks like a normal card, right??? Well, surprise!!! It is a lovely little pizza box I created myself!

Here's a side view from my box. I made the notch with my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. The papers I used are from Marianne Design, Garden Party collection. All edges of the designer paper are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain,
The sentiment I used is a sticker from Kimya, which says A present from me to you.

The image I used has a lovely name! Yes, it has MY name!! I knew I had to use her when I first saw this image. She is called Sassy Sandra, and she can be found here. I used my Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13 and R20 for blush
Hair: E71, E74, E77, E79
Eyes: E74, E77
Blouse: R83, R85, R89
Skirt: BG53, BG57, BG49

To finish off my project, I used several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, and some ribbon from my stash.

This was it for today, I hope you all like it!

Sami Stamps

And now on to the challenge, here is our color inspiration picture!

And here is what I made for you all!

I made a little gift box with my Envelope Punch Board. It was the first time I ever used the board, but it was so easy! The only drawback for me is that the scoreline is on the right, and that is not easy being a lefty... But it worked!
The image I used is called Butterfly Kisses. The image can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following
Cat: E23, E25, E27
Butterfly: R22, R24
Feathers: R56, R59
And here is the back of the box. The papers I used to decorate it are by Authentique, and they match perfect to our color challenge.
I used some velcro to close the box. I am going to fill this box with liquorice, and give it to a sweet friend of mine who is going to Malta for 6 months.

This was it for today, I hope you like it! Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

Hugs, Sandra
