Art by Mi Ran - Kisses

Hi all!

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and today I am sharing a Valentine's card.

The papers I used for this card are from Authentique, Smitten collection. I inked all the edges with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

The image I used is called Lovely Lila, and isn't she just adorable? I used my trusted and beloved Copic Markers to color her, and I used the following.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Blush: E93, E95
Hair: E23, E25, E27
Dress: W00, W0, W2, W5
Eyes: B12, B24, B18
Pink: R81, R83, R85
Rewd: R24, R46, R89
I used a white gel pen to add some white dots to all the red areas.

The sentiment I used was a teeny tiny clear stamp from Studio Light. I also added a doily, and I made that with a die from Tim Holtz. The flowers I used to finish off my card are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This was it for now, I hope you like it. There will be another card on my blog in a few hours, so stay tuned!

CreaMiep - Kerstgroetjes van ons

Hoi allemaal!

Liefs, Sandra

Good luck in your new home!

Hi all!!

One of my hubby's coworkers has recently moved into his new house, so I made him a card! This whole card was inspired from a card I saw on Pinterest, and guess what, I didn't pin it, so I can't give credit... I am so sorry, but I want to thank the woman who made it for the idea <3 p="">

This isn't actually a card, but it is an envelope, made with a template from Dutch Doobadoo. I used some kraft cardstok to create the envelope. The papers I used are all leftover scraps from a paperpad from Authentique.

The image I used is from Dr. Digi, he is called Dunderton Decorators Ltd. Perfect for this card! I used my Copic Markers to color him, and I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Shirt, moustache, paint can and paint roller: C00, C0, C2, C5
Dungarees: YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97
Paint: V12, V15, V17
Shoes: E23, E25, E27
I also used Glossy Accents on his glasses, but that is kind of hard to see on this pic.

I also used the Paint can and Paint roller images from Dr Digi, and they are colored in the same colors as the main image.
The sentiment I used is from a set from Nicole Verkooijen, and says Good luck on your new home.

This is the insert for the envelope. I used the green paper as a belly band, and I inserted a gift card as a present.

This was it for today, I hope you like it!

Slinky Tart - Smoking Hot!

Hi all!

I am here to share a new Slinky Tart project with you all! This weeks post is the last one before summer break, since we all deserve one.
When I picked my image, I wasn't quite sure what make with her, but I picked her, because I just love her! And while I was coloring I found a stamp set with the sentiment that was perfect for her, and after coloring it hit me. Why not use it in combination with candles? Why not make a candle box? Duh! So here it is!

I designed the box myself, nothing fancy. It looks like a little pizza box. I measured the width of 3 candles, and the height of the candles, and make a little box with those measurements. The box is 12,5cm square, and 1,5 cm in  height.

The patterned paper I used is from Authentique, Careful collection. I inked the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
The image I used is called Smoking Hot! and she is colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following markers.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E02, E08, E09, E18
Eyes: YG93, YG95
Red: R35, R46, R59
White: C00, C0, C2, C5

The sentiment is from a set from Noor Design, and is in Dutch. It says Fire caution! 50 candles this year! Rather fitting fot this image, huh?

This was it for today, I hope you all liked it!

Art by Mi Ran - Monochromatic

Hi all!

Hope you had a great Easter!! Mine was great, filled with family, and lots and lots of chocolate!

Today is my turn to host the Art by Mi Ran blog, and our theme for this month is Monochromatic. Usually when doing monochromatic cards, I stick with sepia tones, but this time I went out of the box, and did it in RED!!!

I made a 6 inch square card, using some lovely red Authentique papers. No inking this time, because I didn't like the look from red Distress Ink on it.

The image I used is called Rose and Girl, and you can find her here. I used the following Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Blush and lips: R20, R22
Hair: E13, E08, E09, E18
Eyes: E08, E09
Dress and roses: R35, R46, R59
Trim: R00, R02, R05

I used several different Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to finish off my card, and I also added some flatbacked pearls in the two other corners. I tied a bow using some red ribbon from my stash, and my card was finished!!

This was it for today, I hope you all like it!

Slinky Tart Inspiration!

Hi all!!

It is time for some new Slinky Tart inspiration! Today I have a project to share with you I made with Culinary Claire 2.0

To create the shape of this card I used a template from Dutch Doobadoo. It´s a cheap and easy way to make shaped cards, and I absolutely love it!
The paper I used is from Authentique, and it reminded me of an apron, so it goes very well with this image.
The image I used is called Culinary Claire 2.0 and I used the following Copic Markers to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E13 and R20 for blush
Hair: E33, E35, E37. E29
Hat and underwear: C00, C0, C2, C5
Spoon: E55, E57
Frosting: R02, R05
To finish off my card I tied some red ribbon around it, added a charm and several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. The bingo cards I used are stamps from Noor Design, and the sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps.

This was it for today, please pop over to Slinky Tart for more inspiration!

Sami Stamps

And now on to the challenge, here is our color inspiration picture!

And here is what I made for you all!

I made a little gift box with my Envelope Punch Board. It was the first time I ever used the board, but it was so easy! The only drawback for me is that the scoreline is on the right, and that is not easy being a lefty... But it worked!
The image I used is called Butterfly Kisses. The image can be found here. I used my Copic Markers again to color the image, and I used the following
Cat: E23, E25, E27
Butterfly: R22, R24
Feathers: R56, R59
And here is the back of the box. The papers I used to decorate it are by Authentique, and they match perfect to our color challenge.
I used some velcro to close the box. I am going to fill this box with liquorice, and give it to a sweet friend of mine who is going to Malta for 6 months.

This was it for today, I hope you like it! Please pop over to Love to Create and join us!

Hugs, Sandra
