Hi all,
I have some exciting news to share with you today! This month I am guest designer for Eureka Stamps!
This weeks theme is WEDDING and this is what I created
The card is made with some Creatables dies. I only used red and white cardstock.
The image is a digi by Eureka Stamps. Some of the hearts are colored with a red marker, and covered with Stickles. The other blank hearts are covered with Glossy Accents. I also used some liquid pearls in cream color.
The sentiment I used is also by Eureka Stamps, and is perfect for a wedding!
As you can see I used some StampinUp! Whisper White ink for the embossed parts of the diecut.
That was it for today, I hope you like it! Now pop over to Eureka Stamps and join us!
Hugs,
Sandra

Growing old - Aud Sentiments Midway Reminder
Hi all!
Welcome to all of my new followers, thanks for signing up!
Today I want to share my Aud Sentiments project with you all, since we are already halfway in this challenge! The theme for this challenge is FOR A GUY, so anything masculine goes, as long as it has a sentiment on the front.
For this challenge we are sponsored by the lovely Bugaboo, and they are offering 7(!) digi's of the winners choice. Just click on the banner below to go to their shop!
Jodie from Bugaboo also generously provided some of her images to the DT, and this is what I created.
I don't know how about you, but I always have a hard time making masculine cards. For some reason I love flowers and ribbon and pearls and lace and so on... So I had a hard time on this challenge, but I actually like how this turned out!
I made a stairstep card, and I used an image by Bugaboo. Let's take a closer look at the image, shall we?
The image is called Gus - Optional and can be found here. Gus is a grumpy old man with a great sense of humor, that is why I like this image! He is colored with my Copic Markers, and I used the following.
Skin: E00, E11
Hair: C5, C7
Shirt: R29, R59
Shorts: B02, B05
Cart: YG03, YG06
I also used some Glossy Accents on his glasses.
This is the middle part of my cart, the stepping part. I used two dies by Marianne Design for the fence and the birdhouse. The embossed parts are inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, as well are the edges of my papers. The paper I used is by Basic Grey, Oxford collection. The little flag banner is made with a die by Joy!Crafts and different pieces of patterned paper.
This is the right part of my card, and the sentiment came with the image. I can actually imagine Gus saying this, LOL!! I used my Nestabilities Labels Four to cut it out.
That was it for today, I hope you all like it!
Now pop over to Aud Sentiments and join us with your masculine cards!
Hugs, Sandra

Have a special birthday - Drunken Stampers DT
Hi al!!
Time for a new challenge at Drunken Stampers! This week it is team Bahama Mama's turn to host it.
This week we want to see some projects inspired by the movie SIXTEEN CANDLES, in other words, we want to see some birthday cards!!
Here is what I made for this challenge.
I made a 5inch square card, this size I use most of the time when making square cards. The image I used is by CC-Design, I won this one at All That Scraps Challenge, and I am soo in love with her. Perfect for birthday cards!
Here is a close-up of my colored image.
She is cut out with a label die by Sizzix, and colored with my Copic Markers. I used the following to color her.
Skin: E000, E00, E02, R20
Hair: E50, E51, E53
Shirt: BG72, BG57, BG49
Gifts: Y35, Y38
I also used glossy accents on the confetti, but I am not sure if you can see it in the pictures.
The sentiment I used is by Whimsy stamps, it's my GO-TO birthday sentiment set, I love them!
Stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and cut out with my Nestabilities circle die, and there you go!
I finished it with some pearls around it and some paper roses.
The papers I used are by My Minds Eye, The Sweetest Thing Bluebell collection.
I also used some ribbon and pins from my stash.
That was it for today, I hope you like it! Now hop over to Drunken Stampers and join us with your birthday cards!
I would love to enter the following challenges:
Polkadoodles - Spring Flowers
Dutch Dare Card Challenges - Girls Rule
Creative Moments - Add a sentiment
Loves Rubberstamps - Anything goes

Here is what I created for this challenge.
The image I used is generously sponsored by Milk Coffee, and is called Lisbeth Valentine Fruit. Such a cute image!! Here is a close-up of my coloring.
Lisbeth is colored with my Copics and I used the following markers to color her:
Skin: E000, E00, E02 and R20
Hair: E50, E51 and E53
Hearts and clothes: R81, R83 and R85
Roses and Apples: R27, R29

I also used some Glossy Accents on the apples to make them shiny.

The sentiment is stamped onto Kraft cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The stamp is a clearstamp by Imaginisce. The ribbon is from my stash and matches perfectly with the BG96 marker I used on the leafs. The paper flowers and rose are by Prima Marketing.
The papers I used are by My Minds Eye. All edges are inked with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
That was it for today, I hope you like it. Please hop over to Fairies Challenge to join us with your Love themed card!

Just keep swimming... - Drunken Stampers DT post
Hi all!!
I have some exciting news to share with you, I am officially Drunk!!! No, I haven't been drinking, but I am a DT-member of the Drunken Stampers! How awesome is that!! This week is my first post, and I am nervous!!! All the DT members have such amazing skills, their work is amazing!!
Anyway, this week we are inspired by the movie Finding Nemo, and I have seen that one about a 100 times! I just love that movie, and I know quite the whole script and what everyone says. In example, Dory, the blue/yellow fish is singing all the time: "Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming swimming swimming!! Happy thought are coming my way!!
Anyway, this weeks theme is Finding Nemo, so you can use anything with fish, or underwater creatures! This is what I created!
You see? Just keep swimming!! Gee, I am easily distracted with this one, I never ever watch a movie while crafting, but I watched Finding Nemo about THREE(!) times while creating this card... So it took me about 6 hours to create this card!!
Enough blabbing, let's just talk about the card!
The image is by Digital Delights, and can be found here. This little fish is colored with my Copic Markers, using YR04, YR02 and R20. I used C2 to make it a bit less bright. The shading is done with my B00, B000 and BG0000 marker, and the bubbles are done with Glossy Accents.
The papers I used are from my stash, from the time I used to scrapbook.
I used some different ribbons from my stash and a starfish. I also used a blue rhinestone in the centre of the starfish.
I also found a tiny seahorse while digging through my stash, so I added that too!
The sentiment I used is, except from the phrase from Finding Nemo, also from the AmyR Underwater Sentimentset.
That was it for today, I hope you like it! Just pop over to the Drunken Stampers blog and join us!
Cheers!
Hugs, Sandra
