TSG Mother {'s Day} of all Blog Hops

Hello and welcome to your very first stop on the Mother of all Blog Hops-blog hop...lol. This is very intimidating as I never liked being first at ANYTHING...ACK! Why did my last name have to start with an "A"? :P BUT I am so happy to be here none the less! When I found out that Jessica and Holly we're arranging this blog hop welcoming costumers AND past Trendsetters I jumped on the occasion! I was a Guest Trendsetter in April of '09 and that was fun times!

So here we go! If you came to me through the There She Goes blog...then you are on the right path! If you just happen upon my blog and would like to join in the hop...head on over to the There She Goes blog to read up on any important info about the hop! Ok...you ready now...coolio!

This weekend I am representing 3 sets...YES...THREE!!! First I signed up for "A-Z & 1, 2, 3". But then there were sets still uncalled for so I jumped on the opp to also rep the oh so LOL "Tastes Like Chicken" from when I was a Trendsetter and "Nature of Friendship" because during my time with TSG...I made some new awesome friends. Side note...I've been an awful friend lately and I apologize for all my friends whom I've neglected...so the Nature of Friendship card is for you ALL! :D

This project I made is this tote for my MIL for Mother's Day. This was an idea pitched to me by my awesome Ho (don't ask...lol) Kelli Jo who you will be visiting somewhere down the hop! I was stressed for ideas for a Mother's Day gift and BANG...she said stationary! Thanks KJ! :P Love ya! Love how you can use this set to personalize anything! I altered a notepad and stamped the inside pages with my mother in laws initial to match the cover and tote. Mis Notas is My Notes in Spanish. Then I made a postage stamp envelope and stamped "estampillas" which is stamps in Spanish. Lastly I altered a dollar store find...an address book with "direcciones" meaning addresses also in Spanish and then a matching RSVP pen. I hope she likes it! See the fun things you can do with this set?

Next is my Nature of Friendship card. I decided to keep it plain and simple and make a CAS card to feature it's beauty. This set doesn't need too many layers... I used Old Olive, Basic Black, and Elegant Eggplant to stamp the images and greeting. You can click on it for a larger image to read the sentiment. It had been a while since I used my SU inks all thanks to my Copics...lol! Nice break...

Finally here is my Tastes Like Chicken card. I remember when I first got the set to play with...I was dying! I was literally ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING MY BUTT OFF! I know this wasn't a very popular set with many during the sneak peeks and it was the talk of the town at SCS...but I have a funny and sometimes strange sense of humor so this was so up my alley! Dark nasty alley...lol! Hope you enjoy this card! My last one was well...a bit "tasteless". If you wanna see what I'm talking about..you can see it here! I thought it was pretty hilarious! This one I went a bit more classy...lol! Hey..."those people" this set was meant for have class too dangit! x}

Ok so I leave you now on your way to visit the next stop on the hop which is the awesome

It's a pretty long trail...but I KNOW you'll enjoy it! So grab a cup of your favorite drink, kick back and enjoy the hop!

Jessica and Holly...thanks so much for having me guys! Fun times! :D

I'm so happy I found this Japanese fancy paper to work into the image which I paper pieced. The sentiment I paired with this image is from the set Faith Hope Love by Lindsay Spencer.

Let's have a Paper Makeup Stamps HOP shall we?

*EDIT TO POST* OMG I'm such a dummy! I guess I must be having a mainframe malfunction because last night when I set to auto post this post...I could have sworn I posted for 4 o'clock AM! Then I'm laying in bed with my iTouch and I'm about to go do some hopping and...OH MY GOSH...my post still wasn't there! So I jumped out of bed to correct my boo boo! LMBO! I can't believe I set it up for 4 o'clock PM! DOH! So without any further DUH moment...here is my post!*

Hola muchachas...today is the 7th so that means what? Correct...Paper Makeup Stamps is having a BLOG HOP and a RELEASE PARTY!!! WOO HOO!

Since I was gone when all the hop planning was done...I really don't have an actual spot in the hop or a letter to share...however...that doesn't stop me from making an actual post to let my readers know that there IS a hop going on! Katie kindly provided me with 2 images to sneak peek since I'm back online :) and I'm sure you saw those on Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday right? Well if you didn't...since I don't have another image to use to show you what's being released...here are my 3 cards from those days.

I tell ya...you MUST check out the hop! I've seen the peeks myself (since I didn't get to see exactly everything that's releasing) and this is gonna be a pretty awesome release! If you're a kitchen person...this hop is a MUST for you! I'm not a kitchen person...forget it! LOL! I love to cook...but the clean up afterwards is so not for me! LOL! Then there is some sexy va-va-voom corsets for those men in our lives...;) Fathers Day is only what...2 months away? Oh yeah! LOL! *Whispers to my Ho's..."you have GOT to check them out!" ;)*

Ok...I'll let you go now. Make sure to collect your letters along the way as they will spell out a discount code for your purchase! Also...why not stop by the release party and have some fun! I hope to make it...but my DH's cousin is coming over to check out my PC to see what's going on with it. If he's gone by the time the party starts...I will be there! The party is tonight, Wednesday, April 7th at 8:00 pm CST in the PMS Forum!!

Have fun on the hop! :)

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day HOP!

It's that time again for the Bombshells to GET HOPPING again!!!

Hello ladies and welcome to another Bombshell Stamps HOP! Today we are to alter anything we have in the home and of course use any Bombshell Stamps to alter. PLEASE feel free to play along if you own some Bombshells. If you don't...you can always go shopping HERE! ;)

I was lacking SERIOUS creativity so I ended up altering a frame I had bought a LONG time ago that was looking a reason to be used. Well...I grabbed it and decided...this needs to be altered. I printed out a picture of my momma...rest her soul...and make it HER! Everything on this frame is stuff my mom really loved. Roses...the color red...birds (of all kinds)...and most of all...she liked to "dress up" hence the ribbon with red Stickles.

Then some time ago Shannon sent me this AMAZING foam skull...well2 of them...and I decided to alter this one for Dia De Los Muertos. I had it on my moms tomb for a day and brought it home. All the cemetery would do is either take it for them (the cleaners) or throw it away and I just couldn't let than happen. So I brought it home and it's on my moms altar. :) Here are my kids on Dia De Los Muertos! Thanks Shannon!

LOOK at the goodies you could win!!!
YUM YUM!!!!

So remember to be in the draw for a chance to win these goodies leave comments on the Bombshell girls blogs (the more comments the more entries you get!)

OR you could play along with our January Sketch Competition. See Details HERE!

ALSO...don't forget I have a Bombshell Blog Candy going on! Go HERE for the deets! I draw a name on my birthday...so post your comment before Feb. 1st at midnight...that's the cut off! Then come back on Feb. 2nd for the winner!

Now go HOP!!!!!

Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop and Release Day!! YAY!

Well hello peeps and welcome to the Paper Makeup Stamps Blog Hop! It's NOT the 7th for all you PMS vets...it's the 14th...lol...but that still means it's time for another Paper Makeup Stamps blog hop of new releases! The release for this month had to be pushed back a bit for X reason...but it is SO worth the wait! Have you enjoyed the sneak peeks so far? I know I have! :D

If you have come here from Christi T.'s blog, you are on the right track. If you haven't come from her blog, then please start at the PMS blog and then continue the hop and pick up your letters along the way that will spell out a special phrase that will get you a discount on the new release! How fun is that? Keep on reading and you'll find my letter below! ;)

I have Cookie Monster to share with you today. Now tell me...who can't resist a cookie nabbing monster? He is MY kind of monster! LOL! I'm a cookie freak, especially snickerdoodles! ZOMG I'm drooling just thinking of them...HAHAHAHA! Today I made both a card AND a 3D item...a milk carton! What goes great with cookies? DUH...MILK! LOL! I saw this idea somewhere...to combine the whole cookie and milk concept...but I can NOT remember, for the life of me, where and it's killing me...but let me tell you...it left a great impression for me to wanna CASE it! I bought the milk carton & carry case tutorial for this project from Becky at Inking Idaho and I LOVE it! I bought it a while back and just managed to make something worthy from it! Inside the milk carton, I packaged up a baggie of cookie mix (sugar cookie) and then added some chocolate melts. When I make sugar cookies...right before they're done...I top each center with a chocolate melt. After I got done with this project...I baked some cookies...chocolate chip! :P I'm sorry if you're drooling...it's not MY fault! Blame Katie for having me to use Cookie Monster for the hop...LMBO! Also...after seeing what the other girls have made using Cookie Monster...now I see mine and they look like phlegm and potato...seriously! Tuesday while doing some blog rounds it hit me. I had one of those LMAO moments that even scared the hubster. Please feel free to laugh...I know I did...and LOUD! I even spewed my work space and keyboard with a large mouthful of coffee!

Ok...so I'll let you go on your way down the PMS hop! Today I have for you the letter

brought to you by...lol...sorry...I had a Sesame Street flashback with the whole cookie monster and a letter...lol. BTW...Cookie Monster has always been my fave next to Elmo...so much I used a cookie monster quote for the sentiment...computer generated...and now he's my favorite next to Caliope. Caliope still has my heart though. :D Now head on over to Lisa M.'s blog to see what she has in store for you! Whatever it is...I can bet it's AMAZING!

We hope to see you tonight at the release party...dress comfy...no casual wear needed! It starts at 8:00 pm CST in the PMS forum. Hope to see you there!

Feel like shopping for any of these stamps shown since Monday? Go HERE after 8PM CST and grab a few! Make sure to use your discount code formed by the letters you've collected! ;)

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!

This hop is a major brick house! Why? Because the girls are using the brick wall technique as the theme! I was a bit hesitant to join as it looked a bit intimidating with having to cut all those little pieces...but OMG...jut as it was time consuming...the outcome is AMAZING! Reminds me a bit of graffiti art I use to see when I lived in South Central growing up. If it wasn't that time consuming I would do that more often. Still...this technique is PERFECT to use with Bombshell Stamps! I already know who I'm gonna be saving this card for. My BIL has the same tattoo on his shoulder...well...similar! I know he'll appreciate this card! I don't know why...but after seeing this card...I crave a PB&J sammy! LOL! Grape jelly please...:P

So without too much a-do...here is my card! I used Panther Tattoo for my card. When I got this set...I had NO IDEA what to make with it...so when the hop captain came up with this idea...I KNEW I had to use it! I actually envisioned it and to be honest...it came out better than how I had envisioned it!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sorry I don't have too much blah blah today...but I am one busy girl trying to catch up on some stuff AND working on what I'm gonna be making for Thanksgiving. We're having kind of like a potluck at the in-laws...so I have to make something yummy! :P

Make sure to visit my other Bombshell hotties! Leave them some love too K? ;)

Wild Week #2

Hey peeps! I know this is a early Wednesday post on Tuesday...but I just wanted to make sure it gets posted before I forget! ***Here is my entry for Where The Wild Things Are Wild Week #2 for the search for the next designer to work with Marina's cute little creatures. I made this card last night after getting over a headache...then just today realizing I accidentally flipped the sketch! DOH! I did do something I haven't done in a while...hand stitching!!! Can you believe I did this...coming off a headache! :O LOL! Hubby says I'm a little insane...yes please! Anywho...the wild story to this card is not only that...but just look at Timmy in that stocking! It looks like if he's trying to swing off the card! LOL! Timmy was colored using Copics. The card measures a square 5 X 5. Eyelet square was made using this technique I found on YouTube.

Ok...since I couldn't join in on the Bombshell Hop this week...please make sure to check out my girls and drop them some love! They'll have you like the Pussycat Dolls trying to "Loosen Up Your Buttons"...lol. *wink* Hopefully I can join in next week...there will definitely be some brick houses letting it all hang out!

WHICH BRINGS ME TOOOOO...Bombshell Stamps has a forum to meet and greet with other Bombshell fans! Just go here and sign up for the Bombshell Forum...make sure to introduce yourself too! The more Bombshell Hotties the better!!! Hope to see you there!

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop #8!

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday in the Bombshell Stamps blog hop!

Here's how it works:
Start at any of the Design Team Member Blogs and take a peek at their Hump Day project. Leave them a comment and tell them what you think about it! Then follow the links to the other DT member blogs and leave them comments. The more comments you make, the more entries you will have to win a great prize from Bombshell Stamps at the end of the month!

You could win:

This week's Challenge!
Yep, good ol' Martha Stewart, you can always count on some fun crafting ideas. This week's challenge is to use her Coffin Template to create your own Coffin and do it up Bombshell Style!
So play along by popping along to Martha's site and picking up the templates!

Here is the coffin I made featuring Lucky Bride given to me as a RAK from the awesome Sarah K. You can imagine my surprise when I received a package from her AND the head Bombshell...Shannon! I'll show later what I made with what Shannon RAK'd me with! Both of these gals are amazing for thinking of me! Thank you both! Ok...so yeah here is my coffin! I almost didn't go through with it...a little surreal you know...but I did it! The second layer on top of the coffin is a Cuttlebugged piece. I ran it through the Cuttlebug machine with the folder that looks like wood and then just went over it with Basic Black ink to give it a "worn" look. Hinges were made with the tab punch and then attached with gold brads. If only I can get the creaking sound when an old coffin opens...then it would be perfect! LOL!

I decided to do the "senora muerta" on the outside because it goes with my background. According to family history...I have Spanish blood in me. So this Lucky Bride looks very Spanish so I used her in hope I look THAT good when I'm a vampire and resting in my coffin...lol...after Jasper leaves Alice and turns me into his eternal love. Ok...I do have a wishful heart! :P Shut up! HAHAHAHAHA! Ok now off you go! Make sure to drop some love on the other blogs in the hop! I'm sure they'd appreciate your love!

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! #7

Hello and welcome to another week in the Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop! This weeks theme is "paper piecing"! Challenge was given to us by our hop captain Miss Angela AKA Inky Button! I love paper piecing but I'm not great at it. Love how you can "dress up" an image. Here's are more deets! BTW...I think I've already screwed this up! I'm not absolutely sure...but I think all month of October we're suppose to use black, orange, green, and (optional) purple...OOPS!

This challenge is perfect for those leftover scraps of DP that you just can't throw away. Now you can put them to good use! Instead of hoarding these precious pieces, stamp your favorite image directly onto the paper and cut it out. Voila! You have the perfect patterned paper to compliment your favorite Bombshell stamp.
Remember leave a comment on each of the DT's blogs for a chance to win some FABULOUS Bombshell Goodies:

Here is my card for the theme! I'm sorry girls if I screwed it up! I'll make sure to use the colors next round! *red in face*

I love Angel! She is perfect for piecing! Today I wanted to turn her into "La Arana Viuda"...the "Black Widow"! Don't get caught up in her web or else... Doesn't she look as if she's in prison for murdering her DH and looking through the windows to maybe en*trance one of the prison guards? LOL! I know...*shakes head*

I also used this hop to participate in The Pink Elephant challenge which was a sketch challenge!

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to stop by the other Bombshell Hump Hotties and leave them some love!
