Well I highly doubt Theresa will be crying sad tears today! Wait what? Who's Theresa? Well...Miss Theresa just happens to be Melissa's (of Tuesday Morning Sketches & Stamp It, Scrap It, Share It) sister!
Hello and I'm sorry I'm late! I overslept and forgot to auto-pilot this! I've just been feeling rather tired lately. I think the stress is finally getting to me. BUT who am I to complain when there are more important things in life out there to make you look at stress like just a tiny ding in the road! Just keep on reading so you can see what I mean!
Today is not only Theresa's BIRTHday...but it's also her 2nd birthday from when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now...she is cancer free! YAY Theresa! May the sun shine down on you today and everyday and lift your spirits...as well to other cancer survivors! Happy Birthday sister!!! But most off all...HAPPY NEW LIFE!!! I hope you like the little surprise from Melissa...you have yourself a great sister...and vice-versa! Hope you like your card too! It was made from the heart! I used Mel's sketch too...:P
To celebrate her birthday...Theresa is giving away some candy! Kinda like when you go to a birthday party and there's a pinata? Well...I think this candy is much sweeter! Check it out! Stop on over by her blog and leave her some love!

Wow...2 days in a row! Happy Saturday!
Don't get so use to it LMBO! Naw...I guess I've just had a couple good days to stamp AND do my chores! :D It's a good feeling...helps me get over some ugly difficulties I'm still going through regarding my dad. I wont get into it...but it's ugly!
Anywho...moving on! I made this card here thanks to 2 things...the SCS newsletter with the wiper card tutorial AND The Digi Shack's Thursday challenge. The challenge was to take a bag in Kharlie Bug's Etsy shop (she's also the owner to the Digi Shack...hence her challenge) and get inspired. As soon as I saw one of 2 bags I drew inspiration from...I knew I wanted to use a stamp set I knew I had to get for another reason other than because LV liked it. That bag is so me! I know most of you who know me knows why! ;)
Ok...so I'll make this one short...lots to do today! I'll see you soon! Oh...and if you likey a bag in the Etsy shop...you should play along...you have until the 26th midnight! The prize is a great one...if you're the kind of "purse-on" that likes to stamp and craft etc...then you'll really "tote-ally" fall for this challenge! ;) Ok I know...speading the cheese! :P

"He Was A Sk8ter Boi...
...she said see you later boi! He wasn't good enough for her!" If you're singing along with this that means you know Avril Lavigne's Sk8ter Boi song! YEAH! LOL! Just look at what I got myself into! This card was made for Marie's sketch challenge over at The Greeting Farm blog for some candy! Awesome sketch Marie...it took me out of my "box" when it comes to LO's! I've NEVER done anything slanted...lol. Well...not that I can remember! Hmmm... Anywho...isn't he just the cutest? Who wouldn't want this sk8ter boi? LOL! Ok...funny story about the "city" behind Ian. Well...I was thinking...'should I or should I not?'...well I drew it in with pencil first to see how it looked and then showed my DS! He is just an AWESOME artist and is my drawing critic...so when he said it was "OK" and to go for it...I made it permanent! LOL! I listened to a soon to be 10 year old and I LOVE the outcome! Yes...TOOT TOOT...I am tooting my own horn! :P WHAT? LOL! It sure was a challenge for me to say the least! OH...I even drew an awesome "pavement" but realized it was too late when I layered on the "grass"! *sigh* A waste of "art" gone behind CS! Oh well...leasson learned! LOL...ALWAYS LOOK BEFORE YOU PASTE!!! What do you think?
HAPPY SUNDAY!!!
HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Guest Stamper...my DD LV!
So since I don't have anything of mine to share yet...I'm featuring LV...lol. Also miss THANG doesn't have time right now to update her blog...so why not show off what she's made. So here goes! I love how she's trying to be like mommy on her photographing the card and markers...lol.
She made this ADORABLE card for my Twilight swap I hosted over on SCS. She did this while watching TV!!! WHAT??? I can't do it...I get distracted very easily! Sometimes I think I may have adult ADD! Anywho...how cute is this? I love how her coloring has improved and taught ME along the way. I have a little secret to share...thankfully she doesn't have computer class in school anymore...so I don't have to worry about her peeking...but her dad and I are gonna spring and get her the complete Copic collection along with the airbrush machine. She's been trying to do the "glow" on her "shadowing" but get's frustrated that she can't get it quite right...she's been hinting about it (the machine) but we pretend not to listen...lol. We're only getting it for her because she's in art class and she wants to show her teacher her Manga work and what better marker to use than Copic. Of course me being a mean mom...I tell her to work with my Prismas...lol! Ok...so here are the deets to her card. I sat next to her while she crafted and know EXACTLY what she used!
Before I go on though...I HAVE to tell a cute little story about her. So...she's sitting with the stamp in hand and she's thinking really hard...almost to the point where I think I heard her brain sprain...lol. Well...a few minutes later she jumps off my chair and says "MOM...I got it! It's GENIOUS"! WHAT??? LMAO...the way she said "genious" was like the funniest thing ever! She raised her little finger and smiled. It's one of those 'you have to be there' moments. Anywho...I had just gotten my Top Note die and CRINGED when she picked THAT to use. I was amazed she knew how to use and sandwhich it! Thanks to YouTube she's been learning some cool things and not just watching idiotic vids like most teen kids do. Of course she watches them because her friends send her links...but she doesn't search for them...lol. Anywho...the look on her face when she thought of the sentiment and LO and what not was something to photograph (but didn't :( ). It's cute to see the things that excite her and feel SO proud of those moments because I know I'm leaving her with something to share with her kids...the art of stamping and creating. Hopefully it's something she keeps up...although I don't mind her music...lol.

Caught a bug and LOST a bug!
My word...when it rains it pours...and I mean that litteraly! This past weekend was nothing but rain and MAN did it come down! Just the past week we had nice sunny and kind of warm weather and then BOOM...all the sudden came the rain. SO...I caught a bug! It's rare for me to get a cold or flu...but when I get it...watch out cause I am a MESS!!! Right now I'm fighting a cold/flu that was in the making since Thursday. I already have a hearing dissability...so now it's even worst because I'm all clogged up and hear a ringing in my ear. THEN...last night...actually 2 nights ago...I got a fever! As fast as it came it went...but now it's back. I just took my temp and it's 101. To top it off...I lost my stamping bug! WTH??? Mother Nature sure sent me a nice belated birthday gift. In all the fuss though (and with family who finally left) managed to get a couple things done. Today I'll show you what I made Friday night. Oh...and just FYI...there's MORE rain in the forecast! *sigh*
Hubby bought me a heart shaped chocolate box as an early Valentine...but couldn't wait and had to have some chocolate...and so did my mom, LV, DS, DD, dad...I could go on...and well...the chocolates were gone! Well...I didn't really like the box so I decided to make it pretty...lol. SOOO...I took out my DP...some ribbon...and an old dusty stamp set and went to work. I hadn't used Roses In Winter in a good minute...so I broke it out and made some 3D roses and took it from there. I've also been hoarding LOTS of the Bella Rose DP from SU so I broke that out too...to keep tru to my reso. Anywho...I hope you like what came from this sick sick puppy.
Worst of all I have to add...I didn't get to meet my friend Joy who was in town. First Oscar and my belated birthday party...then me getting ill...and then we had family over. If it's not one thing with me...it's another... I feel horrible for Joy though because she got robbed of the warm sunny California weather and arrived to the wet stuff. Sorry Joy...but I have a MUCH better feeling about the HPC.
Ok...I'm off to get loaded up on NyQuil and put a cold damp rag on my forehead. I'll post a late post tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it.
Hugs,
Gabby

Saturday Super Challenge
NOTE: for today, tomorrow, and Monday...this will be on auto pilot since I'm partying the weekend away because of my birthday on Monday! SWEET 32 to me!!!
Yup...it's that time again! This time...Melissa of Stamp It, Scrap It Share It is hosting! Her challenge it to make a card using 3 Cuttlebug embossing folders (the minimum)...without getting too gaudy! Now that's a challenge! I had a really hard time coming up with something because the most I've done is 2 CB embossing folders...lol. BUT...in the end...I got it done! I don't know if I'm too happy with it because it's not really me...but then again...I am challenging myself on this.
Remember...to enter your cards, just follow that simple guideline posted on Melissa's blog and then upload it to Splitcoast Stampers with the keyword she's provided. The keyword for this challenge is BLOGC2.
Here is my sample for this Saturday's challenge! OH OH OH...before I go on...I am super stoked because I am now the HAPPY owner on the Sizzix Bigz Top Note die!!! Keeping true to my New Year resolution...I have dug deep into my stash of stamps and dug out Paper Trey Ink's Out on a Limb set!!! I've been so into coloring that I've put aside all my non coloring stamps! So once again...I dug it back out! I don't know if I'm just crazy...but I can hear them whimpering! :O So...here we go...here is my card using 3 embossing folders. I used Swiss Dots, Script, & Textile. Oh and guess what...all of this CS...was in my scraps pile!!! :O

Bombshell Stamps Candy Contest!!!
Yup...the time is here! Bombshell Stamps is having a yummy candy contest! What's the happs? Well...here you go!
I've been sticking true to my guns by using stuff I haven't used in ages...and here I used nothing BUT SCRAPS!!! Yup...all the CS and DP used for this was in my scraps pile! Naughty naughty Gabby!!! I also FINALLY decided I'd just use up my Pretties kit from SU. I mean...why buy it if I'm not gonna use it? The sticking withe the theme from the last challenge...I used playing cards! How cool I even incorporated stamps from another of my favorite companies...Hanna Stamps!!! I used Things Hanna Would Say! Here though I would say..."I'm melting for you!" LOL! What better sentiment than that since wax melts??? I could have printed out "Come on baby light my fire" or "I'm hot for you"...but I RAN OUT OF INK! :'( LOL! Still...I think it went well! Whatcha think?
The Contest guidelines are as follows:
Creat a card, layout or altered item...but it must have a Bombshell Stamp somewhere (just in time to use your coupon if you don't have any yet...check over there-----> to see how you can get 20% off your next purchase!) and rhinestones or pearls, use either a heart, or broken-heart, and a ribbon. It can be a Valentine or an anti-Valentine, whatevs gets you rolling!
Get funky and creative!!! We want to see what great bombshells we have out there letting go and unleashing their inner bombshell. The contest will end Feb 18th so you have plenty of time to order with your 20% off coupon and get your stamps just in time to create.
The winner will be picked at random by a random generator!
All entries must be tagged BSSVC2009 to be entered into the drawing and slideshow. If you have any questions just let the Hostess Bombshell know...the awesome Jan @ Bombshell Stamps @ PCP! She's there to help you have fun and enjoy the site.

Here is what I made as a sample to get your creative juices flowing!!! Come on...wouldn't you want a chance to win that awesome set?
Here I used this votive novena candle since we go thru these like babies go thru diapers. We are the crazy catholics who light candles for everything...graduations, babies, Nacho going to prison...lol...yes...I KID YOU NOT!!! So we're really stocked up on these and I though they were too naked...so why not give it a coat? Pretty cool huh? *wink* You know you want a candle like this! Why? Because you can slip the coat right off!!! You don't have to throw it away when the candle is done because all you have to do is grab another candle and dress it! Nothing uglier than a nekkid candle! :S LOL!

Team Jacob? No way! Really?
Ha...I'm 99% Team Edward...so 1% of my heart belongs to Jacob! YES...my heart went out to him thru all the heartache he put himself into...but I'm still an Edward girl. I don't care if he freezes me to death or bites my feathered pillows and leaves me all bruised! *wink* I still had to give it up to Jacob. Plus...LV made me since she's doing Team Edward cards for my swap I'm hosting over at SCS. We wanted to keep it Swiss between the both of us! LOL! So what do you think? Do you think I captured the moment when he tells Bella in Eclipse that...and I quote, "The clouds I can handle. But I can't fight with an Eclipse." what a perfect quote right? The sky was brayered and sponged and the moon and eclipse were made using punched Post It's. First I masked the moon to sponge (after first light brayer) and then I used the negative for the eclipse. Do you think I made a good take on the quote? Oh...and surprise surprise...I DIDN'T USE PRISMAS!!! *GASP* No...you don't have to re-read it...I didn't use Prismas!!! LOL! Sentiment (or quote...duh) is printed.

Nesties!!! I love them!!!
Ok...as mentioned before...I was gonna post my first project made using my new babies. Well...I completely forgot yesterday and so I'm posting today.
I made this tin for a friend who had been suffering from a nasty cold and so in the tin...I threw in some tea packets from Tazo teas. I love those teas!!! This one is a green tea with a dash of peppermint. Great for sore throats. I also had to use some of my neglected stuff to make this with something new...you know...to balance my purchases out! LOL! Yeah...that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :P I reached for my box of scraps and foud these large pieces of CS and DP just waiting for their time to be used. It's DP from K & Co. that I bought AGES ago from Target. Target doesn't even carry it anymore it's been that long!!! I've also negeteced my dimensional sticker flowers that combine with the DP also bought at Target. My objective this year...and part of a resolution is to use up what I haven't used. I need to justify my purchases...NO? I have also been neglecting my Rubber Necker stamps! I have a large photo box full of these stamps...and could you believe some haven't even been inked??? Yeah...that's bad! So when I finally decided on what I wanted to do with the tin...I reached for the foliage stamps from the Jeanne Streiff collection which I'm just now noticing they are no longer avail. So glad I picked them up when they had them. Basically everything on this tin was neglected stuff!!! I'm so horrible! *puts head down* BUT...that's about to change! This is one resolution I just can't breake!
Now...here is a pic of my new babies in their temporary home...that's until I go shopping again and buy me a binder and some magnet strips. Here they lay on a magnet sheet slipped in to a clear envie. They're together with their older brothers...the star...lol. :P
Supplies:
CS/DP: WWasabi, Bright White, & Bungalow DP by K & Co.
Ink: BBlack, OOlive, & AArtichoke
Stamps: Red Flower & Just Leaves by Jeanne Streiff Collection
Embellishments: flatback pearls, olive satin ribbon, & dimensional flowers K & Co.
Others: Mega Rectangle curved Nesties & ribbon punch

Happy Christmas Eve!!! (and Baroque Motifs part 1)
Are you ready to tear into some gifts? I am! I hope there's no coal in my stocking though! YIKES! That would suck big time...LOL!
Anywho...here is a card (of a series) for a swap. I haven't used my SU sets in a LONG time like I use to...so it was time to dust off some and use it for this swap. The swap called to create your own background without using ANY of the new stuff like embossing (ex: Cuttlebug) OR ANY designer/patterned paper. I thought this swap was GENIUS so I joined for a spot. I may take another now that I'm done with these! LOL! Being that I'm such a DP hoarder...I need to start making my own "DP"! ;) Besides...the good thing about this is that you can customize your BG as you wish! Neat huh? Anywho...what do you think? BTW...giving credit where credit is due...this card was a CASE of THIS CARD! I just LOVED the elegance of it and it screamed to me...USE ME!!! Plus I love Baroque Motifs and I had neglected it long enough!
Supplies:
CS/DP: KKiss, BGrey, & Bright White
Ink: KKiss, GGrey, & BBlack
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, En Francais, & Elegant Cheer
Embellishments: satin flowers, flat back pearls (from Pretties kit), & pre-adhesived bling
Others: dauber
Hugs,
Gabby
May you have a GREAT Christmas and hope you get some good new goodies toplay with! I'll be extra nice in hopes my Santa gives me some goodies to play with...or $$$ to buy some goodies! ;) I already know he got me a couple of those new Nesties...so I'm SUPER stoked about that! :D

My brain is working overtime...
...so I made this card featured today! With everything cleaned and half way cooked for tomorrow...I have nothing else to do! The gifts are wrapped, the kids are cleaned and fed...so as I sat here bored out of my mind...I put my hands to good use! I had these designs in my head for Melanie's tee's last night as I went to bed. This is when I get good ideas...although sometimes when I wake up...I've forgotten! Not the case this morning! I drew out what went thru my mind and BOO-YAH...these creations came to life...and EXACTLY as I had seen them in my head. That's a new one! Usually what's in my head never comes out like what goes on paper...not this time!!! YAY...my inner Santa is giving me an early gift to unwrap! The other card I made I'm gonna out-pilot for New Years Eve...I'm SOOOO excited for you to see that one...so please come back then! For now...here's the card I made to share today! I'm sure many can relate to the sentiments...lol!
So you can't decide whether to be naughty or nice...well...neither can I! LOL! Hence this card! Santa will have to deal with whatever Gabby he gets tomorrow night when he come to drop off the goodies! ;) LOL! Hey...didn't I tell you these tees are so much fun to play with??? You gotta get them if you don't have them...you will NOT regret it! I promise! And I'm not saying it because I was a guest designer for Melanie...I'm saying it cause I mean it!
Here I stamped the first tee on to Ridin' Hood Red, then the next on Kiwi Kiss, and the last on Bright White then colored in with Prismacolor "Buff" for the flesh. Notice the cleavage? ;) The naughty tee had it's sleeves cut off to make it sexy looking and gave it a neckline...down to there...yeah! Then I hand drew the Santa belt and went in with the Liquid Applique' to create the puff. The nice tee I colored in the sleeves with Prismas and stamped the trees from Studio G (December). Added some Stickles and WA-LA insta Christmas tee!!!
I bet you're wondering where this "energy" came from...well...it came from going to Maria's blog! She's always making these gorgeous creations and they're always so bold and "full"! Maria was my upline when I was a demo...she also became my friend when I found her on eBay and invited her to my MSN card group. Her work is EXQUISITE! It's thanks to her that I grew in my stamping abilities. I hadn't visited her blog in AGES...but thanks to the newly discovered widget...the following one...I decided to jump on over!
Anywho...I hope you've enjoyed this blah blah for the evening...lol.

I missed you!
This is a card I made while I was offline and having withdrawls from my online friends. I tried using bright colors which is not really my thing...but I made it for you...my friends I missed. :) See what time offline can do to you? LOL!
I dug thru kits I had received so I don't have a complete list of the supplies provided, I do know this is a set from MFT...but what I did use of mine was:
PPirrouette CS, PPink CS, Scalloped Punch, Crop-A-Dile, & Prismacolor Markers.
Kit provided by OhioMary from SCS.
Here are the markers I used:

Well...I did something right!!! LOL!!!
Yeah...I bet you're wondering what the heck I'm talking about...well...I was "monkey-ing" (as my dad puts it) with the computer. Yesterday when I posted...I couldn't even see my background OR see my pictures or upload pictures to show. Well...I was monkey-ing with it this morning and TA-DA! I could upload pictures!!! *knock on wood for it to continue* SO...I'm happy at least about that. LOL!
Supplies:
Ok...here is another project I made using the tutorial for the Bella Rose Tote (which BTW I am SOO sorry for those who couldn't see it). Melanie mentioned it on her blog when she posted my project as guest designer that the link was only viewable by thoe who subscribe to SCS. I made it similar to the last one I made because they're "Twilight-is" colors and my DS's teacher is a Twilighter. Oh...she LOVED IT!!! After I was done with it...I wanted to keep it...lol. It comes with a notepad...made the rings with the BIA that I've been neglecting...a Post It notes holder, R.S.V.P. pen, and a bookmark. These totes are too much fun to make. Whatcha think?
CS/DP: BBlack, RHRed, Bright White, & Black & White series DP from Making Memories

Stamps: Little Tee's, Tee Talk, & Studio G Alpha
Embellishments: FLOWERS!!!...bling, baubbles, ribbon, fibers, & Build-A-Brad
Others: Clip, coaster, Post It notes, chipboard, notepad, & bamboo skewers

Riley enjoys Fall!
I'm sure you see a pattern here huh? LOL! Yes...I so want Fall now! I'm so sick of Summer it's...SICK! I can imagine how Riley is enjoying this drive feeling the fresh crisp air of Fall...oooohhhh to be Riley! I may copy his style once it get's So Cal chilly...wear scarves. ;) I was finally able to break out, trim, and INK my new Kittie Kit! LOL! I love Kittie's scenes so much...I tried my best to come up with mine. Not as great...but I'm still happy with the outcome! This was also a challenge at SCS and a self challenge. Candice's challenge called to making a Fall card...or a card using Fall colors. I'm a sucker for Fall and Winter...so I couldn't pass up this challenge. It was also a self challenge in the fact I wanna try new techniques and what not. This one here was for me to try out the Joy Fold card. I used buttons as the clasp...FUN FUN FUN! I need to start using up what I invest in! LOL! Yes...I have a LOT of those too! :rolls eyes:

Excuse me! Who are YOU callin' a witch?
HA HA HA...crazy title huh? Don't you ever wish you can say this? Actually...I have said it but not to a witch! ;) As promised...a Halloweeny card! YAY ME! LOL! It was actually made for an MFT Guest Designer challenge. It's a chance for me to...and only wish of course...on becoming at least a one month guest designer for one of my favorite stamp companies. I laugh everytime I use these Who's That Girl? stamps because...eeek...they have no heads!!! But OMG they are so much fun to play with. I inked up this set JUST for this challenge. I had something completely different in mind when I started this card out...but hanging at the release party and being given a little shove by my girl Joy...I had to tweak it up a bit! THANKS JOY! :P You HO! And I say thatin a lovin' way and you know it! It's an inside thing ya'll...she's not gonna freak if I call her a HO! LMBO! Anywho...whatcha think?

At least I hope I spelled that right! LOL! Either way...you get the idea! :P So I made 6 of these for a recipe swap! I'm not much of a recipe person...don't get me wrong...I cook like a QUEEN...but I don't keep recipes with me! I have tons of recipe books and all are just dusty...lol...so this was a challenge for me! I made a recipe once before but I wasn't too happy with it...but guess what? I am with this one!!! Maybe because it's one of my favorite "finger foods"! These dipped in ranch dressing!!! OMG I'm drooling! Whatcha think? Does the fun flock look convincing of "breading"? LOL!
