FOSTV-Tags and Tickets
The Friends of Speedy TV challenge 39 is Tags and Tickets. I decide to put mine on a card. I had the smaller tag and thought to make it really pop out, I would cut a larger one with a bright background and place under it. The Fall leaves are from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. and the set I used is called Autumn Glory and for the sentiment I used a set called Island Life.
My small ticket at the top of the card is a freebie from Scrap-A-Licious Times and is a digital image. My designer paper is MME Paper Pad called Sunshine. I'm using MFP cardstock, Orangie Sunset and Chipboard.
Hope you'll come over to Speedy TV and join our challenge this week. Here is the stamp set being given to some lucky winner this week, Island Life.

FOSTV-Bingo challenge
Good Monday Morning....Rise and Shine! Can there be any such thing as a good Monday morning? It's hard to think of it that way at times. I had a slow weekend, made a card or two and watched a football game on Saturday.
This week at Friends of Speedy TV we are having a Bingo challenge. That is one of my favorite kinds as you get to choose what you want to create.
I chose Anything But a Square, ribbon, monochromatic. I made an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) and used blue as the monochromatic color. The stamp sets I'm using are from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co./Christmas Wreath Mini and Christmas in the Country.
We would love for you to join us this week in our Bingo challenge. Just create your card, come over to Speedy TV, look for the FOSTV challenge #38, and link your card. We would love to see your creations and maybe you would be the winner of this beautiful stamp set called Old Summer.

Christmas With a Woodsy Flair
Hope you all had a great weekend. Hubby and I travelled to a football game on Saturday to see the Alabama Crimson Tide play. They won!!! So, that made for a super day. On Sunday night, hubby and I sang in a praise and worship concert. So, no crafting for me...just a busy and very nice weekend.
I really love my card today. Friends of Speedy TV's challenge this week, #37, is to case someone's card. Just find a card you love and case it (copy and share everything or copy and selectively edit). I didn't get to play in the Featured Stamper 289 challenge on Splitcoaststampers about 3 weeks ago but this stamper, Maureen Merritt aka mamamostamps had the most awesome and fun gallery. When I saw this card, I knew it was the one I wanted to case.
The stamp set I used is from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co., Greetings of the Season Mini. The image was stamped on a top note die from Stampin'Up! A bit of sponging was added to the edge.
I used an embossing folder called Woodgrain Texture Fades-Alterations from Tim Holtz. It was inked with chocolate chip ink before running it through the machine giving it a more woodsy look. I've added a bit of chalk and sparkle to my pine cone. The last thing was to add my ribbon.
The stamp set being given away to some lucky winner playing in our challenge this week is New Pines.
Hope you'll come over to Speedy TV and join us.

FOSTV-Labor Day challenge
This week the challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is to make a Labor Day card. This would include things you do on Labor Day, your holiday traditions, or you can make something patriotic. What's better than sitting under a palm tree at the beach to end your summer. Gosh, I hate to see summer go...it's my favorite time of year. Yes, I like my weather Hot!
I paper pieced my card and palm tree and the blue is made by inking my acrylic block and stamping. I think it makes a cool, beach background.
For my card, I used Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. sets called Flamingos on Vacation (palm tree) and Adirondack Summer Mini Stamp Set (chair and sentiment).
We hope you'll join our challenge this week and maybe you will be the winner of this fun stamp set called Fabulous Dogs.
Recipe:

FOSTV-Beach Theme
Good Monday Morning..can Mondays ever be good? Hmmmmm.....I think so if you had a bad weekend. No, no....I didn't. I went on a day trip out of town and went to one of my favorite scrapbook stores. The store really has the coolest and most up to date crafty items. You just can't leave without buying something, usually too much. You know, it really adds up in a hurry.
Friends of Speedy TV is going with a beach theme this week. Instead of just a card, I thought I would make a box and some 3 x 3 note cards just for sending out a quick thank you or just to say hi. This project was made with three of Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. sets. They are Silly Shells, Flamingos on Vacation, and Oh, Crab.
My box is made using a Sizzix Box with Scallop Flap and Flowers/Scoreboards Die. The lid is covered with paper from a DCWV Textured cardstock Travel Stack. The cardstocks are from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, Aqua Lt., Florida Peach, and Wind Willow. The button is La Mode from Jo Ann Stores.
We hope you'll play along with us this week. We have a great stamp set to be won this week called Background Fun. Wish I could win it as I don't have it..but, I can't. :-)

FOSTV challenge
Hope you had a great weekend. I didn't do much of anything, worked in the yard a bit and then made a few cards. It was such a surprise when I went outside Saturday morning and felt Fall-like temperatures. Of course, I know there is plenty of hot weather left. And, being a summer lover, I'm glad.
This week the challenge at Friends of Speedy TV is a color challenge. You are to use pink, pale green, cream or gray. My card base looks white but I promise it is cream. The card is a square, rather simple card.
I'm using two Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. stamp sets. For the sentiment, I'm using Daffodil Greetings and the butterfly is Old Summer stamp set.
Hope you'll join us this week. The stamp set being given away to the fortunate winner this week is Blessings.
Recipe:
Paper-Designer paper is BasicGrey/Wisteria
Ink-Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories-Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and Textile embossing folders, Prima flowers/Spring Mix

FOSTV-Die Cuts
The challenge for Friends of Speedy TV this week is to use die cuts. I've had this basket from Marianne Design Craftables for quite a while and this is my chance to use it. I filled it with roses from a Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, A Heinrich Co. stamp set called Relax A Bit. It is the roses only from the teapot. I stamped the teapot, colored, and cut out the roses, placing them in the basket.
I used a Marianne Design Creatables Bird, Ivy Vine, Birdhouse die for the ivy. The green leaves are Spellbinders Shapeabilities Foliage dies. I did change the shape of those with my scissors because they weren't fitting just right. I got in a punch for my branches from Martha Stewart.
The pretty embossing folder was sent to me from Kathy, Entering Kathyville. Thanks so much, Kathy. I love it and it works perfectly for my basket of flowers.
Hope you'll join us this week at Friends of Speedy TV and possibly win the stamp set shown below, Wild Horses.

FOSTV-Father's Day
Good Morning! Hope you all had a great weekend. I went to a wedding on the Mississippi River this past weekend. It was gorgeous. The groom was a friend of my youngest son. He was 'best man' so I got to see him and my DIL this weekend, too.
I'm celebrating my birthday today, also. Another year older and I feel it as I only slept about an hour last night. That's another story.
For this week's Father's Day challenge at Friends of Speedy TV, I went very CAS. I'm thinking that is all that is needed for a masculine card....no frills. I inked my small acrylic block with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Stormy Sky and stamped. I then added stamped my leaf in Stampin'Up! Night of Navy ink.
The stamp sets I used are Mark's Finest Papers Autumn Glory and Get Reel for the sentiment.
We hope you'll join us this week for the Father's Day challenge#24 and make a Father's Day card. This is the stamp set that a lucky winner will receive.
You can find this technique here on Splitcoaststampers in Resources.
Recipe:

This is another card I made using the same set.

FOSTV-Burned Batik
I tried a new technique for the FOSTV (Friends of Speedy TV) this week. That is the new challenge starting today. I had never done Burned Batik so I thought I would try it. It took several attempts for different reasons. If you would like to try this technique, it can be found at here at Splitcoaststampers.
I'm using two stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Company. For the butterfly in the background and the daffodil, I using a set called Daffodil Greetings. For the sentiment, I am using Dogwood Blossoms.
Rest of recipe:
Paper-Mark's Finest Paper, A Heinrich Co. -Orangie Sunset, Blue cs is unknown, white cs
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, and Stormy Sky--Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics, clear embossing powder, VersaMark, Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Here is the prize to be given to some lucky winner this week. It is the North American Woods stamp set.

FOSTV-Mother's Day
I really wanted all the beautiful sparkle to show on this card. I used the Mariposa Stack and that paper is always so pretty. I think most mothers like butterflies and flowers. My Mom used to have a very pretty bird cage and this reminded me of her. I no longer have my Mother but I think she would have loved this card. I have to tell you she had parakeets and I was so scared of them if they got out of the cage. I would always run to my bedroom and close the door until they were back in the cage. I didn't want them to land on me and peck. Actually, just landing on me was terrifying. Why, I don't know. I was a scaredy-cat then and still am. LOL
If you join the challenge this week, this is the stamp set you could possibly win, Mother's Magnolias.
As you can see, this is the set I used from Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Co.
Recipe:
Stamps-Mark's Finest Papers, A Heinrich Co.- Mother's Magnolias
Paper: DCWV-The Mariposa Stack, green scraps
Ink: MementoTuxedo Black
