What's More Fun Than a Snowman?

I had so much fun making this card. First, I LOVE a snowman!!! It's been a while since I joined the QFTD challenges but I wanted to make a card to honor my friend and blogging pal, Bonnie. She is known as bon2stamp on Splitcoaststampers and Stamping With Klass on her blog. Queen for the Day on SCS is revisiting earlier Queens this summer and I decided to case everyone that cased me when I was revisited.  This is Bonnie's card I chose to case.
I wanted to call it punch art but the only thing I punched were the eyes. :-)

I can't enter my card into the Inspired by Stamping WHW#109 challenge as it is has ended but I wanted to try this tutorial so I decided to use IBS Delicate Doilies II to make some snowflakes for my card. The tutorial is embossing on parchment. It is so easy. After stamping my doilies on vellum with white pigment ink (it should be pigment), I added my Frost White embossing powder and used my heat tool. It worked beautifully.  I can  enter this card into the Inspired by Stamping Customer Gallery contest for July.

I want to join Merry Monday this week in their month long July challenge of Anything Goes. You can find it at Always Playing With Paper. Since I am case-ing Bonnie and she is on their team, I wonder if she used this card on a Merry Monday challenge...hmmmm

Also, I'm entering the July Christmas Challenge in the Fan Club forum on Splitcoaststampers. You can use the word Joy, do a joy fold, something that makes you joyful at Christmas...you get the idea.
I'm using the IBS Fancy Alphabet stamp to make my 'joy' word.

My scarf is Stampin'Up! Cherry Cobbler ribbon and I added a little sparkle with my Sakura Gelly Roll pen/Clear Star. I hand cut the nose, hat, arms, and hill, made the mouth with a marker, punched the eyes, and used a nestabilitie for the circles of the snowman. I've used Stickles in the snow.
