** Coffee Break Makes - A Quick Slice **

CBC2

Ingredients:-

1X square card [15cm x15cm]

1X mirri board [14.5cm x14.5cm]

1X black card [14cm x14cm]

1X patterned paper [13.5cm x 13.5cm]

1X crown brad

A selection of patterned papers

Your choice of letters cut to size on the slice or another die cutting machine

3d foam pads

Method:-

1. Matt the black card onto the mirri.

2. Place your letters where you want them and stick them down with 3d foam.

3. Pierce a hole and attach the crown brad above one of your top row letters

4. Stick the completed matt to the front of the card.

5. Add an insert and your card is complete.

Tips:-

Any letters will do. I have used this design for personalised cards and also made a wedding card using Mr. and Mrs.

If you have longer than 10 minutes ... why not cut out the letters on white card and stamp different patterns onto them!

Every Monday I will post a card design that will take you 10 minutes or under to make! Please help yourself to these designs ... and if you use them ... post a link ... I would love to see what you did!

**Coffee Break Makes - Teen Birthday**

CBC1

Ingredients:-

1X square card [15cm x15cm]

1X mirri board [14.5cm x14.5cm]

1X black card [14cm x14cm]

4X silver brads

1X A5 sheet white card printed with a greeting or a name repeatedly and cut into the number 6

1X stamped image in black and white

3d foam pads

Method:-

1. Matt the black card onto the mirri, pierce a hole in each corner and place a brad in each hole.

2. Stick the completed matt to the front of the card.

3. Cut out your stamped image and place on the card next to your number with 3d foam pads.

4. Add an insert and your card is complete.

Tips:-

Any stamped image that can double as the number one will do, I used Paperartsy USPT3 - Passing time for mine ... but I have used the Daniel Torrente Stampotique images for a more girly feel. You want the image approximately the same size as your number.

Change the printer ink and card colour to suit.

Any number will do ... 12,13,14,15 and so on!

Every Monday I will post a card design that will take you 10 minutes or under to make! Please help yourself to these designs ... and if you use them ... post a link ... I would love to see what you did!

**Coffee Break Makes - New Baby**

CBC

Ingredients:-

1X square card [15cm x15cm]

1x plain pink card [14.5cm x14.5cm]

1X patterned pink paper [14cm x14cm]

1X plain pink card [8.5cm x 8.5cm]

1X patterned pink paper [8cm x 8cm]

1X circle funky foam [5cm dia. approx.]

1X small piece sticky ribbon

2X pink buttons

2X gems

1X small length craft wire

1X peel-off or stamped sentiment.

Method:-

1. Matt the patterned paper onto the card stock.

2. Cut a quarter from the funky foam circle.

3. Cut wire into two pieces - curl one end for handle and make a U with remaining piece; cross this over for wheel axle.

4. Glue the wire onto the back of the circle and add sticky ribbon to form pram base.

5. Glue onto card.

6. Add buttons for wheel and decorate with gems in the centre.

7. Add a peel-off or other sentiment.

8. Finally add your insert.

Tips:-

I use silicon glue for the pram as I find it very secure and forgiving. I also use a circle punch, however, drawing around the bottom of an aerosol will also do the trick.

This card looks great in any colour depending whether you are making for a girl or a boy - I use yellow and green too, for those that don't know yet!

Every Monday I will post a card design that will take you 10 minutes or under to make! Please help yourself to these designs ... and if you use them ... post a link ... I would love to see what you did!

**Coffee Break Makes!**

In between making a mess ... I make charity cards and have done for about 5 years. A lot of you will know that in order to keep costs down you need simple card designs that you can make in minutes ... that will also sell!!!

Well I thought I would share my file of designs with you ... some of you will have seen a few before ... but this time they come with full instructions. Please check back each Monday and let me know your thoughts!

You know like ... good idea! ... bad idea! ... bad instructions! ... rubbish cards! ... too basic! ...that kind of thing!

And if you don't sell your cards ... check back anyway ... it is always useful to have quick card designs handy for that last minute panic ... NO! don't tell me I am the only one that does that ... I don't believe you!

Don't forget these designs are not intended to show your range of card making skills they are intended to make money ... the more you make ... the more money you can make for that special charity or extra stash!

And don't forget to tell your friends!
