"A work of heart" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

Here to share a new scrapbook layout with you

"A work of heart"

On this page I've used the "A Work of Heart" chipboard

I've colored it with black ink and then painted on Colour Blast Shimmer Spray "Bling" for that lovely gold shimmer.
Then I've painted the heart with red water colour to help it lift off the page.

To decorate the rest of my page, I chose to use blue and red as they were the colours in the photos.
I've used Colour Blast paste in "Just Blue" through a stencil and added minimal embellishments.

Finally I've done some journalling - Very important, don't forget to right the story.

Thanks for visiting.

"Funny Face" Scrapbook Layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I'm sharing a new page "Funny Face"

The "Funny Face" Chipboard was the perfect choice for these photos.

I decided to focus this page on the colour orange.
So I've treated the chipboard with "Tangerine" embossing powder from Colour Blast.

The background of this page is Colour Blast Spray "Sunset" over a DCWV paper which gives an awesome resist look.

All the other embellishments come from my stash - my focus for 2018 is to start using some of the items I've already got!

Thanks for visiting.

"Pensive Moment" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Crafters

I'd like to share a new layout "Pensive Moment"

This page started with the background paper.
It's from the Project Life "Azure" 12x12 collection.
I trimmed out some areas of it and highlighted the background using washi tape and
Colour Blast Spray in Saffron.
I've applied the spray to a stencil, over the craft mat, then flipped the stencil and pressed the pattern onto the white cardstock background - I love this effect.

This Pensive Moment Chipboard is such a great fit for the photo.
I've covered it with white gesso, then coloured with Distress Crayon and then finally - lightly sprayed with Colour Blast Spray "Indigo".

With such a busy background, I didn't need to add too many embellishments, so I chose some simple stamping, cotton thread and a wood veneer.

Thanks for visiting.

"Pawprints on my Heart" Scrapbook Layout with Louise

Hi Crafters

I'd like to share a new scrapbook layout - "Pawprints on my Heart"

I've used the seriously cute
chipboard. I've given the chippie a coat of white gesso. I've used
Colour Blast "Bling" embossing powder on the word "heart" and coloured the other part with Distress Crayons.

received a coat of Colour Blast embossing powder in "Royalty"

I didn't really start with a purple theme but I love the Royalty embossing powder so I kind of ran with it. No mixed media but a lovely symmetrical page.

Thanks for visiting.

"Happy Days" Scrapbook layout by Louise

Hi Scrap Friends

Louise with you today sharing a new layout.

"Happy Days"

For this page I've used a couple of different chippies and ...
NO mixed media background.

I wanted to let the papers and embellishments speak for themselves.
I'm trying to challenge my scrapbooking go to's and think outside my comfort zone.

I started with the "He Loves to" journalling block - here

I've treated it with a coat of white gesso then coloured with black marker and used it to include my journalling.

I've also included the "Tangled shape sets" stars
which I've treated with navy blue embossing powder to match the layout.

The paper and embellishments are by Echo Park from the "Pinstripes" collection.

Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping.

Loving these Hashtag words ....

Deb here again today with a couple of pages to share.

The first one is another of my son's football days. In this one I have used the chipboards raw. The engraved frame is one from the Set of 3 PL cards and I've combined it with a small Hashtag word, Memories.

These journalling cards come as a solid piece but I have cut along the engraving line to create a frame from it.

The Hashtag memories word is part of a set of 6 words, a really handy and great set of words to use on your pages.

The next one I'd like to share with you is one of my youngest child and her ever faithful companion. Nothing will come between them and so this title was just right for the page.

I have used the Friends Fur Ever and simply chalked it to slightly change the color from raw to a light kraft color to suit the page.

Until next time
Happy Scrapping
Deb
