Welcome to my blog & project number 5 of my new catalogue week series.
Today my project was inspired by a lady i sometimes watch on YouTube, Jenny McGuire. I am sure a lot of you are already aware of this lady. She really is very talented & makes some amazing projects.
I made 2 cards today which follow the same principal, heat embossing with stencils and also making your die cut words look more like metal. I hope you like what i have made.
I love the way that both of these cards have turned out & also think these techniques make your cards look very elegant. It is very easy to do and the possibilities are endless.
I used the Celebrate you Thinlits which you can earn for FREE from Sale-a-bration. I cut the word out 3/4 times and glued them on top of each other. This gives a very 3D like effect.
The stencils i used are from the Annual Catalogue & are called Pattern Party. You get 4 in the pack so you have a good few different designs to choose from.

I really loved trying this technique and i will be experimenting more this weekend!!
