Hi Everyone!
Thank you for visiting my Blog on this very snowy day!! Days like this you just want to stay home & craft! So that is what i have been doing for most of the day. I have made 2 cards using a gorgeous stamp set called Friendships sweetest thoughts. This is the first time i have used it & it really is beautiful.
I hope you like the cards i created. They are both the same except i have used 2 different embossing folders & i have coloured the image in with different colours. It is a very Spring like stamp set and with the weather we are having at the minute it makes a lovely change.
You may be able to see from the picture above that i heat embossed the word 'Hope' with clear embossing powder. I just inked it up with versamark and poured clear embossing powder on then heat set it with my heat tool. It gives more interest i think.
Both of the cards are made with a Very vanilla card base measuring 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored in the middle @ 5 7/8". I cut a piece of Soft Sky card to 5 3/4" x 4" & i ran it through the Basket weave embossing folder & also the Layered Leaves folder.
I stamped my image with Black Memento ink & coloured it in with some Stampin Blends. It was then cut out using the largest Stitched Shape oval die. Using the largest layering scallop oval i cut out one in Blushing bride card & one in Glimmer paper.
The large word dies are from Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.
I have listed all the products i used at the end of this post. Please pop by tomorrow for my usual Friday tutorial on here & my YouTube channel.
Bye for now!!
Love
Ann xx
