Silvio Micali elected to the NAS
The National Academy of Sciences just announced 72 new members, among them Silvio Micali from MIT. For those who may not know, he's famous for his work in pseudorandomness, cryptography, and interactive proof systems. Among his many awards are the Godel Prize in 1993 and being named a Fellow of the AAAS in 2003.
