This song has touched my heart on many levels and I’m sure it will strike a chord in your heart too.

This is an original song performed by Shlomi Shabat - Aba, which he originally composed for his Dear father and continued spreading it throughout all Jewish sects.

About a year ago I came across this song and the idea to translate it into Yiddish for my own father suddenly came to me, this was a personal song and I had no plan of releasing the it later on.

But as life takes it’s tolls, whenever I shared the song, I was instantly told that it is unfair of me to keep such an amazing masterpiece to myself especially a song that can help more people get closer to their father.

Whether it’s getting closer to their father figuratively or getting closer to our father hashem echad!

I hope this song continues to inspire all of you as it has inspired me.

Hashem should help that we should all be zocheh to feel Hashems Fatherly compassion in our hearts!

A few years ago, at a live Kumzitz in Yeshivas Darchai Torah of Farockaway, one of their Maggidei Shiur, and well-known composer, Rabbi Chaim Davis, approached me with this beautiful, meaningful song. Since then, I've performed this song many times over in various Yeshivas. I was taken aback each time anew, as I witnessed the unbreakable achdus that emerged between the bachurim every single time!

Recently, when I performed it at a kumzitz in camp Ruach Chaim, we filmed it to be able to share with the whole world! There is no better time to release this song, than now in the times of Ikvesa d'Meshicha, especially in the holy days of Elul, leading up to Rosh Hashanah. In these auspicious days, we all gather together as one, to Crown Our Dear Father in Heaven! May our achdus and love to each and every yid bring the Geulah Shleima speedily, in our days! Amen!

This song came about in an amazing way. About a week ago, Dudi was performing at a beautiful Kumzits in Manhattan; and was singing and playing around with some new tunes. As Dudi was playing a certain tune, one of the crowd members, talented singer Mendy Worch, approached Dudi and was very moved by this tune. Mendy added in his own melody to help create this beautiful song. After a few renditions of this song with the crowd clearly this was something special. After such an inspiring evening, Dudi and Mendy sat down and collaborated on this song. Dudi chose this amazing concept for the lyrics with the hope that it will inspire the listener with געגועים to the Heilige R’ Nachman M’Breslov and merit Simcha Kol Hashana!
